[Tap. Tap. Tap. This was something Winry was used to hearing at this point. A pencil tapping against a notepad. She had been working on many a drawing, but never anything new. Improvements to those who needed it. Checking that things were fine for another, but she rarely found herself making any new prosthetics from scratch. Nothing she could put her name to anyway.
In a way she felt happy that she didn't have to, it meant the healers here were doing an extremely good job. But the other part of her found herself questioning a lot. Was there even a point in her being here at this job? Did she really deserve the pay? Could she maybe ask to give her less? Or maybe she figured it was time to move on from it, try something new. But she knew as she sighed she just couldn't.]
That's another design done... [She turns the page over, already going to start on the next design, but it wasn't long before she found herself pausing. Pencil just inches away from the paper once more. After a moment she put it down before moving to lean away from the desk she had been currently sitting at.]
I should really hand in my letter. I mean I will finish what I need to here before the two weeks, but... I should maybe have already had what I am going to do planned.
[She sighed slightly as she soon moved to stand up moving to grab the device before it finally shuts off.]
Action: Genessia Hospital
[Winry had left the office for the time being. Her plan was to hand in her letter of resignation or her two weeks notice at the hospital. She knew it was for the best since she wasn't exactly happy working there anymore for the pay she was getting.
She would have rather had less or maybe she could have done something for someone with the extra money, but Winry knew the other reason for it. She just figured it was the best time to try elsewhere. So with that in mind she was walking the corridors, saying hello to people she meets along the way.]
Video
[After she had finally handed in her notice she made sure the feed was on. A small solemn smile placed upon it.]
So... I handed in my notice at work today. I figured now is the time to try somewhere else and use what I have learned elsewhere. Be in at another hospital or even getting my own place. [She honestly didn't know which it would be. While having her own place might seem normal, she wasn't sure she could do it alone. She always had someone.]
But because of it, I realised that... I should really consider my living arrangements again.
[It wasn't long before there was a crash coming from behind her as Winry was quick to turn around.]
Togepi, what did I tell you about going in there?! [She was quick to move to deal with it as the feed switched off.]

After all some of the best healers work at the hospital so I know people there are doing well and don't really need someone like me there.
Video
You're always needed, Winry.
Re: Video
Though I'm not sure how prosthetics can be applied to that world. I mean if they can be infused with magic that would be something, but I wouldn't be able to do that.
[She smiled slightly.]
Ah, thank you for saying that.

Maybe it's worth giving Nova City a chance? There are a lot of androids there that might need repairs or upgrade from someone trustworthy.
[ He can't smile back so he gives a brief nod. ]
Is the truth.
No, really. Cassian always complains that I am terrible at lying.
no subject
[She couldn't help but laugh slightly.]
Nw I am curious as to why he thinks you are bad at lying? Like do you have an obvious tell or something?
no subject
He seems me attempt to lie before and I just have no creativity for lies. It's hard to say something that it isn't true. For droids, at least.
no subject
I see. I guess that is my something new learned today. I'm at least glad you don't lie though.
no subject
Thanks. More people shouldn't lie but for some it's inevitable.
no subject
Yeah... I mean people lie to not hurt other people sometimes. Still not right though, but some lies I understand.
no subject
There are white lies that might be acceptable.
no subject
As for white lies that were the thing I was thinking about. Depending on what the white lie was in the first place.
no subject
There's always limits, it's a matter of knowing them. Sometimes lying is a way to make people suffer less.
no subject
I guess that is true. it's like people saying they are fine when they aren't to not hurt others.
no subject
Exactly. Little white lies like those.
no subject
I understand those kinds at least. I think I even do them myself sometimes.
no subject
Everyone does that sort, it's not a big deal at least. They cane make life easier.
no subject
I also admit I would depending on what it was.

WHY?
video
Though if I went somewhere like Nova City I would probably still live in Genessia as apartments in Nova City are expensive.
no subject
[Immediately all better.]
... But wouldn't the commute be terrible? Surely there's a way for you to live comfortably in Nova City, if only to travel less. [Even if it means losing his bestie as a neighbor.
That thought makes him frown again.]
no subject
[She shook her head slightly.]
With the amount, I would be making most of the money no matter where would go on to the apartment. I would rather have an even amount going into every day and housing.
no subject
What is the work you are considering?
no subject
As for what work... maybe the same, just in another city since most healers and such seem to go to Genessia hospital.
no subject
So then... Do you intend to move? Or... [He worries that begging she stays is selfish (it is,) but also... bestie....... why does the idea of her moving away hurt him so much???]
no subject
[She paused for a moment.]
If it's Nova City, no. Because unless I get a roommate I couldn't afford to and... really don't think I would want someone to have to deal with my mess.
no subject
[He won't even suggest Everglade. He'll die if Winry moves to Everglade.]
You're not that messy, though. I think you'd make a lovely roommate.
no subject
[She just always makes sure to tidy if people are coming over.]
