[Anyone in the library today might see quite the interesting sight as wandering around looking at the rows of books is the Beast. The one interest that he had manage to gain from Belle was reading the books in the library at home. Not that he hadn't read them at one time before that, but her love of them had renewed his interest and here he was actually looking for a book to read, but which one was always the question.

Anyone who had seen him upon arrival would find that he wasn't growling and roaring today, and instead had wandered out for once and looked....content with what he was doing for the time being at least. It didn't make him look quite so scary today.]

[While normally people may be frightened, 'Marth' got over their initial fear on their first day of work as a part-time librarian. They were told they were going to see all sorts of creatures and humans alike and told to quite frankly 'get use to it'. They were also told not to wear a mask and they opted to wear an eyepatch over their left eye instead.

Spotting Beast roaming the book aisles, they took a moment to ask them a question.]

Did you need help finding anything today?

[Beast was surprised when someone came up to him and it took him a moment to remember his manners before speaking.]

Um....no. I think I'll be able to find something of interest.

If you need any assistance, please don't be afraid to call on me, I'm here to help.

[Giving a friendly wave, the youth was off to check to make sure everything was in order and the dewy decimal system wasn't threatened with misplacement.]

[Ever since his arrival, Belle's found herself thinking about the Beast and worrying about him. She shouldn't care about him, she realizes that on a logical level, but she does... She discreetly checks in on him from time to time but they haven't had a proper conversation since that first day.

Seeing in the library gives her a chance to speak to him again.] Hello. [Her expression softens when she sees the book in his hand.] I didn't know you were interested in these kinds of books.

[Belle can't help but smile at him.]

It's a romance.

[Seeing Belle almost surprised him except it was a library and he knew that this was exactly where she might be. Perhaps it was one of the reasons he'd come here in the first place, though he'd never admit it to her. When she pointed out the book he had he seem to grumble awkwardly. He'd remembered her telling him that once before, about the same book oddly enough.]

It's about knights and a wizard and....

[Alright, it was a romance. He'll give her this one since they'd already had this conversation once before and he'd lost it.]

Yes, well, I suppose it is. I believe you've told me that before once. Those I suppose you wouldn't remember it.

[She tries her best not to smile as she looks up at him. Of course, Belle has no memory of their prior conversation but the words rise naturally to her lips regardless.]

No, I don't. [A frown touches the edge of her lips as she steps forward and pulls another book from the shelf.] Here. You should read this one too. I think you'll like it.

[Her fingers brush against his before her hands quickly retreat back to her sides.] I'm sorry I don't remember you but- I'd like to try and be friends now. Have you been well? Settling in okay? You have plenty to eat? [Apparently Belle can't hide her worrying nature.]

[He paused as he felt her hand brush against his and then watched her pull away with some awkwardness, but accepted the book all the same, somewhat wishing her hand had remained with his.][He did smile a little at her questions at least. She was worried about him? Really? Part of him felt hope in that.]

I have been managing to settle in.

[No he hadn't. He'd barely been going out anywhere. People didn't usually like seeing such a Beast as him, but she didn't need to know that he's been just about confining himself like he had at the castle.]

Have you been doing well?

[She is worried though Belle can't begin to explain why. Maybe because the beats she'd met when he first arrived... it's so different from the creature she met in that tower. It's hard to believe that he's the same person.

Sometimes she forgets that he's the one who plans to keep her in that castle.]

I'm happy to hear it.

[Her brown eyes smile with warmth though there is a tint of sadness at the edge of her expression.] Yes. As well as I can be. A friend offered me an alternative place to stay through the heat... I had meant to check on you. I can't imagine that it was easy with all the- fur.

Uh, no. I can't say it was but I've managed. You said that a friend offered you a place to stay. I'm glad that you at least were kept safe from the heat at the time.

[He could thankfully take it even with the fur despite how uncomfortable it had been, and he had found a cave in Fayren that had kept him cool during the heat at least. It wasn't his first choice in places to stay, but it was out of the way and people didn't seem to bother him there.

He paused as he seemed to study her expression, and the sadness in her expression]

What bothers you? If you don't mind me asking of course. You seem...sad about something.

[He'd been with Belle long enough to be able to read her expressions and that look in her eyes at least.]

[She's surprised that he's noticed, of course, she doesn't remember their long history of living together.]

Oh. It's nothing to worry about.

[Belle looks down at the book in her arms.]

There are a lot of things in this world I'm not used too.

Yes, in that we are the same, but it feels like there's more?

[He couldn't help but worry about her too, especially since he did remember their history.]

Yes. There is and more means that there is more unknown.

[She smiles up at him though there is something in her expression that's clearly bothering her.]

I'm glad to see you're adjusting. I think this place has been good for you.

Where are you living now?

I suppose you're right.

[Though he was disappointed she wouldn't seem to tell him, he also didn't want to push her too hard either and make her run away from him.

At the question though, he looked almost uncomfortable with it since he'd been living anywhere he could for the moment as he'd been having trouble pinning down a job. He didn't know the first thing about what to even do for a job, and he wasn't used to living with such a lack of extravagance. Many of the jobs were things he had his servants do for him and so though he'd had an expensive education, he didn't know the first thing about what to do.]

Oh, um....here and there.

[Belle can't explain why but she doesn't want to tell him that she's having trouble with a man. Something about that feels... wrong. She'd tried to date here, away from the the people like those at her village, but maybe she's better off throwing her energy into learning and books.]

Here and there?

[She looks up at him with an inquisitive brow.]

Does that mean you are living in the woods? Like you said before. You haven't found a job.

[That worries her.]

....Maybe.

[He sounded almost hesitant to tell her. But people didn't really like seeing a beast like him around, and he often liked staying to himself anyway.]

[Her head tilts to the side and she gives him a look.]

Which means?

[Uh oh, she was giving him that look. How was he supposed to go against that look.]

I might have found a cave during the heat. It stayed cooler down there.

[Not to mention, nobody bothered him.]

Okay. [That isn't ideal but it's at least a place to live and she supposes that he doesn't have to worry about doors being too small or roofs to low.]

What about a job?

I...um....haven't found one.

[Mostly because he wouldn't even know what to do for a job.

[Belle looks thoughtful.]

What is it that you think you'd enjoy? Maybe we can find something together?

[He makes a face, not really sure if they really could find something. He was still a little self conscious about how he looked in this form.]

I'm not sure anyone would want to work with a Beast.

You should take a look around.

[She flashes him a knowing smile.]

There are many people here who don't appear human. I've even met an android. I think we can find a place that is comfortable with you. If you're willing to give it a try.

A...what?

[What was an android?]

[Belle's smile never falters.]

An android. It's a robot.

What is a robot?

It's a machine that's very high-tech.

[She smiles and reaches for one of the books she's carrying.]

[He accepts the book from her.]

I don't know a whole lot but I've been looking into the information here. There are a lot of interesting forms of technology that don't exist in our world yet.

[He actually dared a smile in response.]

I would like it if you teach me what you know.

[She laughs softly and guides him towards one of the corners of the library with plush comfortable seats.]

Well, robots started as simple machines that completed a single task.

[Beast would sit beside her and listen carefully as she taught him. With her, he would show an odd patience that loved to listen to her. Then again, he loved everything about Belle.]

[As Hana was putting away some of the books she's found, she decided to look at other books to brush up on her reading. The dragon's getting better, but there's a few words she's messing up on. It's been bumming her out.

When looking for a place to sit, she spotted the Beast and softly gasped!! Hiding, she decided to watch The Beast from afar. He had looked like the perfect mix of a Draconic AND a human! It was amazing! From bookshelf to bookshelf, a pair of silent eyes could be felt from this dragon.

Would she go up to him? She was debating to herself, while trailing him]

[She hadn't managed to get by the Beast's notice, though he didn't even glance at her as he continued to look through the books on the shelf, every so often pulling one off the shelf, completely ignoring her.]

[Don't mind Newt who is doodling you from the corner]

[He's minding Newt, and he sees you glancing up at him for your sketch, and eventually he lets out a mild growl before turning and heading for Newt.]

Do you mind?

[He just about growls out the words. Sorry Newt, but he can be a bit rude at times.]

[Newt turns the sketch around]

You are very lovely.

Excuse me?

[Beast almost growls the words. Who the hell was this guy?]

Or would you rather I said you were scary?

[For some reason he's not afraid]

[And Beast can not fathom why he's not.]

Am I not to you?

[Beast was still growling his words out in his anger and annoyance. The guy has some anger issues obviously.]

[A soft warm whisper]

No.

[Newt can hear that there are anger issues but has the gentleness and patience]

[That seems to baffle Beast.]

Why?

[Newt only stares sweetly in not understanding the question to a degree]

Because I love creatures. They're not scary. Even the scary looking ones. Doesn't mean they are on inside.

I'm not merely a creature. I'm a beast. You're supposed to be afraid of Beasts like me.

[The Doctor looks at the Beast like a normal person]

Can I help you find something?

[Even if Ten doesn't work here he knows where everything is already]

No.

[Beast, ever the charmer, and ever the attitude.]

Well, if I were to make suggestions at all. I would usually go for Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Emily Dickson , Sherlock Holmes. Not that I'm suggesting anything.
