[Shi's CR would have had a difficult time finding the small Curse Kami, but less trouble finding letters explaining his absence. In a note on his bedroom door, one at the shrine, and little notes carried by his Pokemon, Shi has explained that he went to the Dream Docks to learn more about his Curses. He would be back in a few days, and would answer any messages his friends left him.

But j/k. Three days later, and Shi is back. But he's not eager to answer messages. He's found a way to control his curses, and it's more complicated than he'd hoped.
Also, it's left his looking closer to his age of 16 and like he got into a fight with some blue hair dye.]

Good afternoon, everyone. I'm new here. [He's not.] My name is Yoshiya. [No, this is Shi Yamato.]

I'm wondering, um... Hm. How to phrase this...? Is there still a carnival coming up soon? [pause. wait. He said he was new, then he asked about the carnival.

[He's actually going to rehearse his lie, though. 'Yoshiya' is standing in an alleyway, facing a wall and rehearsing lies. He's got a notepad that he's taking notes in as he tries to figure out what to do. He can be caught mumbling to himself, as he's deeply focused and a touch panicked.] 

Should I tell Seth? What do I do...? I should go back to my job...? But then people will find out 'Yoshiya' is a Kami too... I don't want to lie either... [He sighs, turns around, and leans against the wall.] This didn't help me at aaaall.

However, while exploring he found himself turning into an alleyway just as he heard someone talking. This was enough to cause him to stop. At that moment he thought the guy was talking to someone.]

[Yoshiya jumps when he hears a voice-- and stumbles over clumsily in his attempt to escape.]

[Okay talking to oneself really wasn't fine. But Allen knew he did it from time to time. Sometimes he would get caught if a device was recording at the time.]

The brat of a pokemon took a turn down the alleyway, only to skid to a stop and run back out squeaking little fairy screams.]

[Thats When Anastasia looked down the alleyway and gasped, ducking back out before she was spotted.

[If he could, Yoshiya would have quite liked to hide. He pushes himself away from the wall at the initial sound of paws on the alleyway pavement, then tenses when he hears Anastasia's voice. He hasn't decided how to approach his old friends, so the encounter leaves him in a flustered panic.

Not knowing what else to do, and afraid of being recognized, he turns around to face the wall.]

Uh, sorry! Don't mind me!

[Anastasia doesn't recognize him, but he seems friendly enough. She doesn't leave, but she doesn't push her luck either, keeping her safety whistle ready just in case. She speaks from around the corner.]

No, I'm sorry. My Pokemon got away from me.

[Yoshiya nearly jumps out of his skin when Kii addresses him. Spinning around swiftly, he sees... this person. He stares at Kii for a moment longer, remembering this person is kind of sad.

So quickly-- either not reading Kii's body language or ignoring it entirely-- he holds out his hand.]

Hello! Sorry, I don't think we've met. I'm Yoshiya! [And you, Kii. You need friends!]

[Kii immediately batted Yoshiya's hand away and snarled]
