I'll get right to the important part. How close is anyone to finding a way home?

[ In a strange way, the look around his eyes reminds her of the look her father always wore after The Shop murdered her mother and kidnapped her. That look of being so worn down and so angry and so over every stupid thing that's come his way. Charlie won't tease this one or poke fun at him as she's done a time or two.

People can't usually kidnap me without me being able to do something about it. [Except that one time, in Dallas, and that was less a kidnapping a more a government setup.]

Some people have been here for years. The people who leave this place seem to just...vanish, so I think if they're consciously doing it instead of being sent away at random by the spirits, they're not able to get back to tell anyone what they found.

Just that no one has found anything yet, or if they have they're not sharing. Right now it seems to be at the whim of whoever brought us here, as coming here itself was.

The current chance of leaving is over forty percent but it might disappoint you to know that, aside from there being no known trigger for being removed or method of leaving, the length of time spent here before being sent home averages around two to three months.

...And I haven't actually found evidence that being sent home is what happens when someone leaves outside of a small number of isolated cases where someone has shown up more than once and remembered it.

Unfortunately, I believe many have tried to find their way back, and none have succeeded of their own making. Some people are sent back, but it seems to be done without forewarning or by their own efforts.
