[The feed comes on showing the interior of a rather bookish shop, and there's little doubt of the sort of wares on offer. The visible shelves hold potions, trinkets, ritual objects, and all other manner of arcane paraphernalia.]
I appear to have inherited a shop. Cassian Lynch is no longer in Genessia, and his shop - along with all its contents - stands where his subarch was. I can no longer contact any of the other employees, either - which brings us to the purpose of this post.
Cloak and Dagger is closing for renovations, and I find myself in need of employees. I'll still be making potions, but I need someone else who can make other useful artifacts.
If you're interested, contact me over the network here or come by the shop. In the meantime, I've got a lot of inventory to go through...
Action
[Anyone who happens to drop by the shop will find the front door propped open, and a number of boxes and bags covering pretty much every available surface. Some of their contents are ordinary looking enough - bits of wood, herbs, copies of some rather useful novice-level books, and a few weapons that might be ritual tools, or might be meant for self defense.]
[Then there's the area behind the counter. On racks there are some more interesting items - glowing crystals, potion bottles that are a great deal more ornate than those normally stocked, and... what appears to be a whip in the process of being braided, surrounded by a number of alchemic tools and esoteric materials.]
[The man behind the counter has his back to the door, at present - and he seems to be singing quietly to himself as he flips through a large, handwritten book. If you get close enough to read it, it appears to be perfectly mundane inventory information.]
Rex tremendae majestatis, Qui salvandos salvas Gratis. Salve me, Fons Pietatis. Salve me, Fons Pietatis...

[Parfait? She has heard of it, but...]
Never. Is it good?

[He pushes one toward her, and fishes a couple of spoons out of his other pocket. Seriously, is there anything he doesn't keep in there?]

[She picks it up to examine it.]
Because I don't care for nuts very much...

[Can't say no to sweet, crunchy graham crackers.]

Have you got any plans for next weekend?

[She takes the cup and spoon, preparing to dig in. Nope, she is not even going to ask how he's storing them.]
Why? Did you want to do something?

Well... My birthday was last month. I've been so busy I just completely failed to notice. I thought it might be nice to have a bit of a party - maybe a barbeque. I've been twenty-one for most of a month now.
[He digs in with a little less enthusiasm, but not much. It's a little harder to enjoy a treat when you have it regularly - even moreso when they figured largely in your healing process. Sakuya all but stuffed him with the things.]

Oh, my goodness, Soma. That won't do.
Please, let me bake you a modest cake.
[Modest means actually normal. It's her effort that counts.]

I'll make it modest, yet special. Like in a cute shape or something~

[She's sure Nova technology can B.S any number of shapes. All she has to do is actually figure out how to work Nova tech.]

[...Come to think of it, she's never seen his bat form, has she?]
no subject
[That's obviously a no.]
Okay! I'll surprise you. Be ready for it~

Adorable majestic cave puppy!
[She's not wrong.]
Does it hurt to shapeshift?

I suppose I won't really understand what it's like until I experience it for myself. I don't think the Halloween trickery counts.

Considering what I had to go through to get the ability, I hope you'll forgive me for saying I wish that's a really long time in coming. Unless this place decides to do something weird like swapping our abilities or something, and even then...

[That naughty little boy who stuffed her in a plastic bag, and that cat that tried to hunt her. Traumatic.
A pause...]
...Weren't we doing something?
