Terra was sitting in the park with flowers and seeds spread across her lap and the ground in front of her. Her face was almost expressionless except for the tilt of her eyebrows indicating her confusion. She took a look around the park hoping to see someone passing by who might be able to lend her a hand. She didn't ever feel comfortable asking for help and the few times she has used her device to send a message it was awkward at best.

She swallowed the lump in her throat and stared at the screen. She shifted trying to keep her nervousness hidden. "Hello, I am planning to open a flower shop with Vyers."

Her voice was it's usual soft gentle tone and after an awkward pause Terra continued. "I wanted to try and collect flowers from the places beyond the gates. I was wondering if anyone knew about those places or the flowers there..." She was worried about poisonous flowers and finding enough that people would enjoy. Terra knows she can take care of a flower shop but with her fuzzy memory there are a few things that she doesn't know.

"Any help would be appreciated." With that she turned off the device and looked back down at her array of flowers. Terra gently lifted a daisy to her noise to smell its sweet aroma.

[Dragunov's no expert on plants, but he's fairly certain he can name off at least one or two flower breeds that would work in a shop like that.]

[There's no video in response, but Terra does get a text message shortly after her broadcast.]

Orchids are a popular choice on my world, as are roses.

[The names brought back memories, which made Terra smile slightly.]

I do know those. Maybe they have some around here? I'm hoping to find plants and seeds.

To be honest I love roses.

[He's quite happy to see Terra finding something she can enjoy doing.]

Well, seeing as I'm friends with both people who own the shop... I guess I'll have to help out, won't I?

[Terra is happy to see someone that she knew respond.]

Yes. Have you seen any interesting flowers by you house?

[She knows that he lives in the forest.]

Now that Zelos was getting himself settled in, he was taking the chance to explore the city. He had already found somewhere to stay (after sweet-talking a hunny to let him crash with her), so now he had to find a job. This was something the redhead was definitely procrastinating about.

Terra caught his eye as he wondered casually through the park, and he came over just in time to hear her announcement.

"A flower shop, hm?" he asked, taking a seat next to her and picking up one of the flowers from her lap; a green carnation. "You know, I think this one's the prettiest so far. It matches your eyes."

Terra was surprised when the red head approached her. Her eyes reflected her momentary confusion as she looked wide eyed at the man. "You think so? Is it a remarkable color?"

She wanted to sell things that people wanted but she hadn't thought of his shade of green as a pleasing color. Terra thought every one liked deep reds and purples to be the most, that they were the most beautiful.

"It's an interesting one," Zelos replied, gently tucking the flower behind her ear. "Perfect~"

She was certainly a sweet looking girl, although he could tell from her expression that she did not trust him. That was not too surprising.

Terra flinched when he tucked the flower behind her ear only opening her eyes once his hand retreated. It wasn't that she didn't trust him but he confused her. She knows that she should be flattered by his comment but she was only confused. Her head tilted to the side slightly as she felt the pressure of the flower behind her ear.

"What's your favorite flower?"

Zelos did notice that flinch - it certainly wasn't what he was expecting, but... well. Despite the fact that it was not the case, he drew the assumption that she probably did not trust him. That would not surprise him.

"Let's see~ Well roses are always a classic, don't you think?" he replied.

Terra's awkwardness lessened at the mention of roses. She was, after all, more comfortable with flowers than people. "I've heard that. I hope to find some. They really are beautiful!" Her eyes wandered down to the flowers in her lap and she gave them a smile smile.

"I hope to spread this beauty everywhere." Her delicate fingers wrapped around a red flower and she held it out to Zelos. "Here."

"They are pretty beautiful~ If anyone can spread beauty around here, I think one as lovely as you should be able to handle it, easily," he said, chuckling a little at the fond look she gave the collection of flowers. She seemed a pretty innocent girl, really.

As she offered one to him, though, Zelos looked a little surprised, happily taking it. "Hm, for me? I'm touched."

"Thank you for your help." Her voice held her meaning. She was truly grateful that someone was willing to stop and lend her a hand.

"Hey, no problem~ I'm always happy to help a cute lady out," he said, his own tone fairly lighthearted. "So how long've you been here, anyway?"

In some ways, her sweet innocence reminded him a little of Colette...which, in it's own way, was a little uncomfortable for him. He had been trying to avoid any reminders of home.

"Just a few months. I'm still not used to it." Her fingers wrapped around a flower stem and Terra lightly began to play with the feathers.

"Yeeaahh, pretty weird place, huh? It's been about two weeks, for me," he said, slipping an arm around her.
