If you're in Genessia City you should check out On the Right Track. They don't have the hugest selection of instruments, but I was able to get my sax and keyboard from there. They actually had more guitars than anything else, so you may be in luck.

Genessia City has all you might need in terms of music, as someone already suggested. There's a lot of musicians in Fayren too that might help you most shops but the use more classic instruments.
