1st Curious Thought [Video]
[The image moves around a bit, focusing first on a very bright blue eye before it's pulled back to reveal... well a child, a little seven-year-old child. She frowns as she presses her lips together.]
I think it's on...
[She walks up closely to the camera again.]
I'm not sure... oh well, I'll shall have to simply hope it is and if not, I'll do it all over again.
[She pulled away and offered a curtsy to whomever may be watching.]
Oh ah, hello and how do you do? [Whoever is out there.] My name is Alice Liddell, it's a pleasure to meet you!
Oh um, well, wherever you may be, in any case, you see... I'm afraid I'm a bit lost. [She gestured to a part of the city that is the library and most definitely not Kusanagi and Haller Home for Children.] I was told to go to the home for children, but I'm afraid I must have taken quite a few wrong turns as I'm very much not where I should be... unless the home for children is a library?
... Well, I suppose we would never run out of things to do and lessons would be quite easy but I am rather sure it isn't. And if I'm rather sure, then that means I'm fairly certain, and if you're fairly certain, you can rest assured!
Would uh, would someone please be so kind as to help me get where I need to go? I'm afraid I've lost my way... Unless this is another part of the Looking Glass, I suppose, and then all ways are the queen's way... but I'm sure it isn't, it said it wasn't.
Thank you very much!
Oh! Also... is the Home for Children, is it a nice home? [She doesn't want to live somewhere nasty.] It's... It's not an orphanage, is it? Or a workhouse?

Video;
Hello, Alice. I'm Anastasia. I lived in the Home for Children briefly, and it's quite comfortable and charming.
I will be right over. Where will you be?
[Video -> Action]
[And it certainly wasn't like before Anastasia appears from around the corner, dressed for a walk along with two fox-like creatures.
Anastasia waved as she approached. How did she get here so fast anyway?]
Hi, Alice. The Home isn't far from here. Do you have any questions? I can answer them while we walk.
[Action]
Oh! Miss Anya! Hello, and how do you do! [She offered a curtsy but then her gaze went back to the animals.] Um, well, if I might ask... what sort of fabulous creatures are those?
Re: [Action]
They're called Pokemon. Wonderful creatures of boundless spirits and incredible power. The pink one is Sylvia, a Fairy-type called Sylveon, and the blue one is Gracia, an Ice-type called Glaceon. I have others, but that's for another time.
[Both of the Pokemon bowed in their own form of a curtsy.]
You may pet them if you want. Sylveon may try to tickle you, though.
[On cue, Sylveon raised it's ribbon-like feelers, curling the ends in a "grabby hands" motion. Such a sassy brat!]
[Action]
Ah, did you get such wonderful creatures here? Could I get one, if I wished? Does the home allow for pets?
Re: [Action]
[Uh oh, here comes those feelers! Sylveon begins to pat Alice on the head and give chin scritches. But brr, does Glaceon have chilly fur!]
At least once a year, Pokemon suddenly appear, and you will be given a chance to meet and catch them too. They're not here presently... The Home does allow them, however. So all you have to do is wait until that exciting day when you wake up to your very own Pokemon sitting at your bedside~
[Action]
Oh- well what month is it? Does this place have a 12-month calendar too? And how do I catch one? And is your Glaceon alright, Miss Anya, she's so cold!
Re: [Action]
As for when they appear... It happens at random. I'm not even certain if they will appear again this year. And you catch them with these.
[From her bunny bag comes a small red and white ball with a snow flake sticker on it to show to Alice.]
Pokemon can dematerialize and go inside these capsules. I understand they are like beds for them.
[The ball pops open and the Glaceon turns into, for lack of a better description, light and darts into the ball, then it closes. A moment later, the ball pops open again abs the same mass of light flies back to where Glaceon was and she was there again in all her chilly glory.]
Gracia is cold because she is an Ice-type Pokemon. She makes her fur, and the air around her colder, which is beneficial for me. Being outside in the hot, oppressive sunlight makes me ill.
[Action]
An ice-type she- she won't melt will she? [Alice was suddenly very worried for the little blue pokemon.]
Re: [Action]
[Anastasia giggled at the question. A well understood question.]
She will be fine. I'm more likely to melt than she is. However, she would be in danger if beset upon by Fire-types.
[Sylveon teases Glaceon with a show, pretending to melt with a dramatic flair. Glaceon barks at her. in protest.]
[Action]
But I quite look forward to the other cit- [She couldn't help but stop, now in a fit of giggles as Sylveon pantomimed melting.]
Re: [Action]
The year here in this world should be 2018.
[Despite Sylveon's interruption, Anastasia can guess the rest of the sentence.]
Cities? They're all fascinating to explore. All though, I do not recommend going to Everglade alone. It's home to monsters and other fiends of darkness.
[Excluding her vampire friends, of course.]
[Action]
[It explains a good deal, honestly.]
What kind of monsters?
Re: [Action]
[Monsters... What monsters did she hear about?]
Zombies. Werewolves. Ghosts. Skeletons... If you know much about the horror genre of fiction, you would likely find them in Everglade.
Not all are bad, however. My dearest friend is a vampire.
[Action]
Re: [Action]
[Action]
Can they leave Everglade without an escort?
Re: [Action]
[She can only name one notable exception, mister big nasty himself, the Lord of Castlevania. In reference to pendants, Anastasia reveals her Fayren pendant.]
Those without these pendants can't travel to other cities so we are safe as long as we don't go into Everglade alone. I'm sorry if I unsettled you, Alice.
[Action]
But ah- you- you didn't unsettle me, Miss Anya. [Which was a lie, but Alice didn't want to make her new friend feel bad.]
[Action]
[Anastasia would still be worried anyway. Everyone's safety and well-being is one of her top priorities.]
If you are certain. Do you have any means of self-defense, though? You never know when it may come in handy.
Re: [Action]
What if... what if it gets lost. Is there a way to get a new one?
Self-defense, no Miss Anya, though my mother and father were debating about my learning fencing.
