7th Beam [accidental video]

[Video turned on, and it was back to Island Sanctuary again. This time, someone else happened to be filming, and the audio picked up something different.]

'Lu...car-io'

[If no one could guess, one of his Pokemon's got a hold of the Android's phone. Maybe he was trying to take a picture or something. Anyway... Lucario pointed to a new pit added to the sanctuary where they use to inhabit a lion or tiger, but not, that's not the case, and it's quite larger too for good reasons.

Instead, there was a couple of bus-size skeletal-like decaying dragons running around. either bumping heads with each other or chewing up some old cars. The seem very clueless the most and could only make rattling sounds. It was when someone jumped down to the pit, all the decaying dragons turned their attention towards him, Seventeen. They stampeded towards him as if he was a lump of meat to devour, or headbutt. Seventeen stopped each incoming with ease, some of them pushed him hard enough to slide his feet back, which didn't panic the android.]

'Lucario!'

[The Pokemon panicked and dropped the phone. Off screen, the blue Lucario jumped over the railing and was no longer in view. Few moments later, the video turned off. Someone got their hands full. An hour later, Seventeen picked up the phone and looked a little dirty.]

Ah, sorry about that folks. Lucario was recording there. Anyway, I found these weird dragons a couple weeks ago. Anyone know what kind they are? They look... kinda dead but very alive.

[He asks as if it's normal. Well, he's seen weirder.]

[Uai is speechless. He recognizes the dragons— they’re his dragons. Fragments of his soul. His “Glitches.” He expected that maybe they had been destroyed or killed. Someone KEPT THEM?

He doesn’t want to admit to them being part of him... but he kind of needs them back???]

Why did you keep those!?

I have some reasons. Are you familiar with them?

[Seventeen on the other hand doesn't seem to mind.]

Those aren’t pets, I know that much! You can’t have any good reason to keep them!

Wow, that wasn't much. They couldn't take care of themselves so I picked them up.

[Literally.]

[Oh frick. He does have a policy of trading secrets with people.]

... okay, fine.

They’re mine. Give them back.

[Wow, that worked. Sort of. He sends the address.]

Island Sanctuary in Fayren.

I'll be waiting.

Fine.

[And so he heads to the Island Sanctuary. It's not very hard to track down the pieces once he knows to look for them. Uai teleports onto the property accidentally, since he was trying to get near his Glitches.

It's a bit humiliating to see them locked up like this.]

What the hell...?

[They weren't exactly locked up, more like in a lion's pit in a zoo. These guys weren't very bright and barely flied. Seventeen was still down there, hoped and jumped away mostly when the Glitches tried to headbutt him. He eventually jumped to the air and hovered them not giving them the reach.

Something told him to look back, and when he did, there was Uai. He hovered in the air.]

That was fast.

[Uai doesn't answer immediately. The Glitches react to his presence by turning their big, ugly heads upwards to face in his direction. Looking down at them like this is disturbing, since Uai isn't fond of dealing with them.]

Yeah, well. I'll keep this brief.

[He says, like he has any idea what to do. When he let them splinter off, Uai had hoped they might get killed. Having someone take them home wasn't part of the plan. He can feel the effect of being close to these parts of himself, and it's not a good feeling.

Likewise, the Glitches seem agitated now that they feel Uai's soul nearby.]

I know they seem stupid and harmless, but they're not. How secure is that pen?

[Seventeen eventually flies over the railings and drops close to Uai. He looks down as well watching the decay dragons, one hand on his belt while the other arm hangs on his side.]

More like keeping too much to yourself, but fine, whatever.

[He watches the Glitches reactions, and well they responded to Uai's presence. The seemed more restless than before.]

Long as they can't fly. They won't be able to climb out of this one.

[The android shrugged.]

Anything else in your mind?

Yeah. I could just destroy them.

[The words come in a snappy response, with Uai's aura darkening. He reaches out to the dragons, but stops himself. Logically, at least, Uai knows that Seventeen probably captured the dragons out of care for them. As much as he hates them-- hates himself-- he knows better than to start a fight by destroying them.

So he only pats one of the dragons on its exposed skull head.]

They're part of my soul. This is what I look like when I can't maintain my human disguise.

[Uai's fingernails are beginning to dig into the dragon he's touching. Its bones are so delicate and weak that he can leave marks on its skull.] They're suffering. They can't express it, but all they know is my anger. It'll be safer if I get rid of them.

["Dragon," "dead," "but alive" were just the words Myrrh needed to hear to be in a near panic. Is the Demon King here?!]

...Excuse me. May I see this dragon you found?

[Yes, show it to the small girl with dragon wings.]

[He's been meeting dragons lately, even human forms. Regardless, he aims the phone down in the pit where they are, about three bus size decaying skeletal dragons either headbutting each other or chewing on old cars. Really, the look more senseless and sedated.]

Do you know anything about them?

[Why not ask a dragon herself?]

[Grotesque. Frightening, even. Reluctantly, Myrrh shakes her head sadly.]

...I do not... They are not like the necro dragons from my world. I can't determine any more than that...

[She's sorry if she wasted your time.]

[Very frightening, and yet it doesn't phase the android.]

Those are certainly... Interesting dragons. I wonder if something is wrong with them.

Probably. I'm still trying to figure that part out.

Don't worry yourself about it. They're pretty aggressive so it's better not to go near them.

Then how did you manage it in the first place if they are aggressive?

Oh, that's because I'm stronger than them put together.

That's great. I mean you must be super strong considering there size and all.

[Hana had stared at the video all the way through and gasped at Seventeen answering it]

Are..you okay? That was- so dangerous..! Yet you, held both of them off a-and..

I-I had never seen dragons like those. They don't talk? Anything?

[she looked tremendously frightened from those dragons..a very strange thing for her to feel]

I'm fine. Aggressive guys but they're not right in the head.

[Yeah, he's kinda used to that and shrugs it off. Oh Hana, don't be scared.]

They look like they're trying to talk, but nothing yet.

If you got nothing, don't worry about it.

Mmmrrrggrrr..

[Hana fidgeted at how aggressive they could be, but it bothered her that these dragons weren't..right. -And they did look like death]

Just be careful, then? I hope they tell you something, something like those dragons makes me concerned..

[Like are they really dead? Should she come over to eat their souls so they can be at peace? Questions filled her head]

[He's willing to listen. Who would know a dragon better than a.... dragon?]

Anyway, it seems the owner responded, so he says.

[suddenly a flash of her memory she had forgotten-but ever since the sick spell, and Takumi..

a dragon-a dark one, being consumed from the inside..Hana panted quietly, until shaking her head]

S-sorry, still kind of sick, uhm. Before coming here, something happened to..another Draconic of my kind-it was frightening, they were dying, had no fur, the scales were melting I..

[The look of concern!]

Hey now! Don't overthink about it. It's not a big deal.

[He listens.. oh, so she saw something like that.]

I'm sorry to hear that.

[Hana took some deep breathes, and nodded]

It's okay..b-but just be careful, there's a lot of screaming..

[to whom was screaming she wasn't sure, the dragon was in a daze still]

-But..! You're powerful! You'll be okay, and that's good.

[...Screams? He just goes along with it. He still look a little concern there. Whatever is happening its affecting this dragon, and he isn't sure why. Ki senses?]

I'm going to hang up now since you know, the screams.

[Not really but this is making her unconformable.]

[Hana stared, but nodded]

..Right. Okay, uh-stay safe and..yeah.

.....

.......Bye.

[goes offline]
