4th Lure [Video/Action for Fayren or Nova City]

[Things have mostly gone back to normal for Ryu. He's taken to running his usual errands, catching fish and selling what he gathers to one of the nearby villages to his camp. It's not much money, but it's enough for him. There's plenty that needs to be done through the day! One of those things is finding Satsuki. Maybe she'll have time to finally meet him face to face.]

So let me ask you all another question. What's your fondest memory of home? Is it friends, family? Somewhere you belong? Call me curious.

[Those living in Fayren or Nova City might catch sight of him, seeming to be in a friendly disposition. Beneath the surface he hasn't forgotten about Lucifer, however. He has a feeling that it'll be quite some time before he tries to do anything again, but Ryu hopes he'll be able to stop any more bloodshed from happening.]

While I'm at it, is there anything you guys think is worth seeing in Nova City? I haven't really gone there too many times. I figure I should learn a little bit about all the cities and the people that live there.

[And here's hoping Satsuki catches on and contacts him, since he has no idea who she is.]

Friends, I suppose.

[Kira had a goofy smile as he remembered his precious little Kouhai's back in his world. He could only wonder how Setsuna and Kurai are doing. Last thing he remembered from his world was that stupid Rosiel ripped his body apart and terrifying his friends.]

And if it's Nova City you're trying to look at, you can checkout the museum bro! Also I am trying to build a tattoo parlor. I'll invite you when I get that little sucker up!

How's the exploring Nova City so far? its quite big isn't it?

[Given Fai's been here once or twice himself he finds it to be quite huge no matter how many times he goes.]

[That was certainly a question to ask and for once it was one Yuuki herself could answer quite easily.]

I have a lot of fond memories... [She can't help but look somewhat down, a small smile passing by her lips. Yep, just thinking about all those times Kaname visited her were somewhat special to her.]

[Chihiro had slowly started to explore more and more of Nova City and even at one point considered moving here, but knew he couldn't until he actually earned a lot more than he currently was.

Never the less it didn't stop him from seeing what was around still anyway and soon coming across someone he already knew and had trained with.]

Ah, hello Ryu-san.

[Kairi was just watching the background quietly for a moment.]

My fondest memories are of all the times I've spent with my friends and how much fun we had when we did. [She gives a small smile.] There is nothing more special than the friendships you make and spending time with those closest to you.

[She soon moves on that quickly.]

I can't what there is worth seeing, but I can also have a quick look around. I mean after all I'm planning on being a tour guide or something as a second job. In order to do that I gotta know these cities inside and out.

[A certain someone has been acting up in Nova City.. And Satsuki was actually really surprised by it- But long story short, the Deputy Guardian had just returned from doing a bit of investigating and 'repairs'.

It's a complete coincidence that her and Ryu's paths cross, she simply turns a corner but comes to an abrupt halt so she doesn't run into him. In hand a flat, rectangular device that projects blue scrambled letters in the air inches above it.]

...

[She recognizes him, but she wasn't expecting him to be in this area; at least not without Chihiro. Her gaze, to no one's surprise, isn't very friendly. Almost cold, even. But her tone isn't entirely unwelcoming.]

Well. I was not expecting to see you in this City. Are you lost?

Looking for you, actually.

[He was expecting to be contacted through the network, but seeing Satuski in person is not an unexpected surprise.]

I didn't catch your name before, but... With the way you act and how Nonon described you, you must be Satuski if I'm not mistaken.

[He doesn't seem altogether too bothered by her general mannerisms. From what little he knows of her, she seems almost like someone who would serve as a Knight in Wyndia's court.]

And if I'm right, I've been wanting to meet you for some time. And I expect you have some questions for me as well.

Hmn. If you are not aware of my name, then either I am doing something wrong, or you are not doing your research. Satsuki Kiryuin, Deputy Guardian of this City; and I believe you are Ryu.

[And Satsuki most certainly does not believe she's wrong; but the dragon is right, he is far overdue for a good lecturing from the Deputy Guardian. With a flick of her thumb, the device's light flickers then powers down.]

I just so happen to have some time to speak with you, but first I would like to thank you for taking time to assist my associate Chihiro Fujisaki.

Well... I haven't done too much looking around, and I've been trying to keep a low profile since the firestorm.

[Ryu readjusts his scarf to hanging over his shoulder.]

Chihiro is counted among your group? I wouldn't expect that compared to someone like Nonon. He reminds me of an old friend, and it was a simple enough request.

[He shakes his head.</small] Though I suppose there's another matter we have to address, isn't there?

[He nods in agreement.]

The museum? What's in there?

I was expecting something, but I'm not sure this was it. This place is huge!

My friends, and the journey we took together. Sometimes it got really hard, and really dangerous, but... I wouldn't trade any of them for the world.

[He's all smiles when he spots Chihiro.]

I'm glad I found you today, I wanted to tell you that you're doing pretty well with your training.

We're definitely the same there.

[A tour guide? That piques his interest.]

What made you decide on a tour guide?

I see.

[Satsuki tries not to judge him too harshly since she does not really know him, but she can't help but feel he's not tried all that hard. For now she gives the benefit of the doubt.]

Not officially, [She clarifies.] but we could certainly pick up on that another time.

[Still, an 'old friend'? She wouldn't describe him as such, but then again she's aware she doesn't really come off as very friendly. She gestures to the ridiculously high tower merely blocks away from the with a giant, almost forbodeing 'W' on it's front.]

I understand one of the subjects I have in mind is a sensitive matter to you. If you wish, we can speak in private at my office.

Following such a flowery description of Fujisaki, I am rather curious how you would describe the other.

[The other being Nonon, of course.]

Yeah, I'd prefer that. Thank you, I don't know how much Nonon has explained about my situation, but I think you'll understand all the secrecy once you know.

[Ryu raises an eyebrow.]

Well... Chihiro reminds me of someone I knew who now runs a major shipping guild. Beyd wanted to be strong to prove to the woman he loves he could run the guild. I guess I found Chihiro a little sympathetic like that.

As for Nonon... She's certainly up front about how she feels. Some people might find it a little abrasive, but I don't mind. I'd prefer someone be completely honest with me rather than try to beat around the bush with what they want to say. And she certainly saved a lot of lives during the attack. She has my respect.

Really neat stuff. Best place to bring women on a date!

Basically, the whole place is new. The city I mean. It's so far into the future, that a lot of its old artifacts are on display. They also have lots of neat art. You should check it.

Something different to home? Usually that's what my first thought would usually be.

Find anything interesting?

So you're like me then. I care about my friends and wouldn't want to see them sad. Question though, would you do anything for them?

[he brightens up a little bit at hearing that.]

Re-Really, I'm glad. But um, I'm wondering what brings you to Nova City today?

[Satsuki feels she has the general idea following the report she was given, but for whatever reason doesn't confirm it just yet.]

I must confess that was not a comparison I was expecting, but it is interesting all the same. Are you a people watcher, Ryu?

[Though she does add afterward with a small smile.]

That sounds about right regarding Jakuzure. I am certain during your conversation with her that the goals of our group is to see that things are or getting done. Wheras someone like you prefers to relax and enjoy your peace.

I find this a shame, as you possess the potential for greater things. As you have suggested, a better understanding of your background would help shed some light on your behavior.

[Satsuki takes the lead down the block, and motions for him to follow.]

I just tend to get mixed up in a lot of things. In my travels, people needed help. I either felt sympathy for them, or helping them would help move my journey forward.

[He shakes his head.]

It's a little more complicated than that. When I learned more about myself, I took my journey for a very specific purpose, but... We can talk more about that when we get to your office. I'm not sure how much Nonon told you, but I'd like to hear that from you when we get there.

I wouldn't really know about dating. I was a little too busy in my home world for love.

[But the city itself does intrigue him.]

From what I've seen of Nova City, it looks a lot like relics from a past time in my world. It was called the Techo Age and had a bunch of robots and machines like what's in Nova City.

Way different. Where I come from stuff like robots and machines are from a long forgotten time period. The only reason I know about it was because of my friend Momo. She's really smart.

My home is more similar to Fayren.

I did. When they were in danger, I fought with everything I had to keep them safe, just as they did for me. The sword isn't just for show, after all.
