[A small boy wearing oversized glasses is peering into the camera with a look of deep concentration. He frowns as he manipulates the device in his hands. In appearance the boy looks to be six or seven at the most. But there is something in his expression that seems oddly older. After a moment he seems to make a decision, and his expression subtly shifts into a childish expression of worry.]

Can anyone hear me? I just woke up in this cave and found this device here. But  this doesn't seem anything like home. It's strange, isn't it? I thought I would remember coming to a place like this.

I read the papers, but it doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. Can anyone tell me what's happening here?

[There is a beautiful young man standing in front of the camera. He looks no older than in his twenties and he's smiling very politely at anyone who's watching this.]

How unfortunate of us for being brought to this place against our wills. If we had been given a chance to come here by our own, this would have looked like a nice place to have a vacation in. Alas.

[He sounds very polite and rather calm, even though he's been put in this situation. Maybe a little too calm, perhaps? Well, Krad has mixed feelings about this situation, but he wasn't about to show that as the first thing. Instead he'd think on them by himself and observe what's to come.]

The hologram was quite useful. It is very nice that one has been made to inform new arrivals. However, I'd still like to ask if there is a place I might stay for a couple of days so I can look around freely without worrying about where to sleep at night? Of course, I would pay for whatever sum needed, with the money I received.

Thank you very much in advance.

[ someone is entirely too embarrassed to show his face to anyone, but he has a question to ask about recent events... ]

If someone doesn't mind answering, I have a question...

This is Marco and I come from a world where parties and things don't really...exist. I mean, they probably do, but with things going on, there's really no good time to have them.

Anyway, I'm not quite sure if I want to go to this event, but I feel that it would benefit everyone within the Schmee Company.

...I guess what I'm trying to ask is, does anyone know how to pick out a really good suit that matches? I haven't worn a tie before, I don't even know how to tie one.

And I also heard from a few colleges at the company that they were going to bring dates with them... Is...is that really necessary? I would prefer to go alone, but I don't want to bring a stranger with me either.

[ and oh god he's not asking anyone else that is from home. no way. he will be embarrassed and then it will make things awkward and he will have to live in his room and leave out the window without speaking to anyone else. no no and no ]

[ VIDEO ]

[ Once the feed clicks on, there is a pale-skinned teenager with a rather immaculate getup. She's smiling in a polite fashion, her legs crossed over one another as she has decided to sit in her pod for now. There was no need to venture out further -- at least for right now. There was no need to take a chance here, after all.

Perhaps there was someone she knew here, perhaps not. She's not too terribly concerned about that unless if it's necessary. However, she does want to know in case if Monokuma was here. She wasn't terribly fond of being back at the school, especially since she was aware of what happened if one was to cross that bear. Poor Junko...

Either way, she decides to finally speak, and when she does, it's done in a very polite fashion: ]

Greetings, if others are out there. I've already been so warmly greeted by the hologram provided and been informed by the provided pamphlet. Thank you for the provided information. As for who I am, I'm Celestia Ludenberg and it's a pleasure to meet everyone here. If there's anything else I should know, do feel free to tell me and it'll be rather appreciated.

For now, I'll bid you adieu. Thank you so much in advance.

[ Her smile widens with her eyes closing. What a nice girl, huh? ]

[The video clicks on to show Pascal standing just outside the Bay. She waves at the camera.]

Hey! So, I saw the hologram already. Blah blah abduction, trapped forever, get a job, blah blah. Got a question, though!

[The camera swivels to the hologram stand-- or what was the hologram stand. It's lying in pieces now with all the circuit boards exposed. Pascal continues in the same cheery tone as if this was a totally normal and acceptable thing for her to do. She waves a screwdriver at various parts of the circuitry as she talks.]

I can see that the zippy bit goes to that lump-thing there and I'm guessing that click-click is what's making the projection, but what's the power source? I thought it might be that thing--[She points at an empty container, which anyone from Remnant might recognize it as a dust cartridge.] but when I popped it open to take a look, it was just like-- FWOOSH! And then, uh, that happened.

[She swivels the camera to show that a sizeable chunk of the Bay around her has frozen solid. This includes the water she's standing in. She doesn't seem too concerned about the fact that she's frozen to the floor though. When she turns the camera back to her face, she's beaming.]

It was kinda like the stuff you can do with eleth, but I'm absolutely sure it wasn't eleth. So if you know what it was, help a girl out! Thanks!

[And the video clicks off without so much as an introduction.]

10 May 2015 @ 09:25 pm
[There's a loud burst of childish laughter, as high-pitched and bright as any child.]

Hey! I bet some of you were wondering what happened to that loud-talking man. The one with red hair. Um--Roaming Torchwax or something?

[She giggles some more.] Well. He's probably not feeling too good. I was generous not to kill him but he's probably really ashamed right now. That's what you get when you mess with dollkind.

[Beat.]

So, do I get paid or something now?

[In truth, it was fortunate that Athrun has things to do this weekend. It'll keep him from thinking about his mother and getting himself down, and from wishing that he could go and put flowers on her grave.]

[A: Heaven's Court Apartments]

[First of all, Athrun landed a job as a computer hardware engineer for a company in Nova City. He's a bit rusty, but all the necessary skills are still there. More importantly, he now had money to find a place to live that wasn't a hotel.

It didn't take him long to find one, and what a place it was. Thus, for a few hours this afternoon, Athrun can be found moving his belongings into suite number 2002 at Heaven's Court Apartments. Since he's still a new arrival, he doesn't have much, but he has gone out and bought some things he'll need for work, such as a computer and a home office desk and chair, as well as some necessities, like a bed, a kitchen table, and groceries. For the time being, he leaves the door open -- though he's not exactly a social butterfly, he understands how important it is to get to know his neighbors, and this will let them stop by should they choose to do so.]

[B: Nova City]

[Once Athrun has moved in, he leaves to walk out into the city proper. Nova City as a whole intrigues Athrun like nothing else here does; he's never seen a fair amount of the technology here and he wants to find out as much as he can.

So, for now, Athrun is wandering the city, occasionally stopping into a shop to look around. Should he see anybody wearing a necklace like the one he received when he first arrived, he'll try to get their attention.]

Ah, excuse me. Do you live in Nova City, by any chance?

[Though people he's met will get a more personal greeting -- provided they made a favorable impression upon him.]

06 May 2015 @ 02:32 pm

Well that was a fun scrap. Hope not all that much happened in Nova outside that. Does anyone know what polish works best on giant robot heads? I need to know for reasons.

Also while I'm asking quesitons, whats with naming planets after dirt? That's like the most common planet name I've seen or heard. Its godsdammned ridiculous, its your home planet name it something better than fething DIRT.

Oh hey, Luci? Have you been messing with the lights again? The flickerings getting on my nerves and I want to know if I need to get new bulbs before I get up

[ Maika adapts easily, and although she is still quite confused, she goes with it. She might not be in Reversed Kyoto any more, and she really should be there, but she decides that she will not worry too much at the moment. She will try to get back later.

For now, the shirabyoshi dancing shikigami spirit rigs up her device, press the record button, and bows politely to whoever may be watching, with a soft smile on her face. ]

Good afternoon, my name is Maika, and I'm a geisha of Yumezato in Kyoto. It is a pleasure to make your aquaintance. It has been a long time since I was in a new town, but I hope to learn my way around as soon as possible.

If I may ask, would a geisha be of use anywhere? Are there any place for an entertainer of the more traditional kind?

[Blaze had been laying low for quite a while since arriving. Despite the recent "excitement" in Nova City that he felt he should have at least investigated, he wanted to observe the place for a while from afar before jumping into any action, even though it was going against his better judgment. The place sure was 'interesting' so far, given that he'd seen flying cars, been to different cities with varying levels of technology, and even had a newspaper thrown at him out of no where (luckily he was used to avoiding high speed objects flying at him). By now, he'd eventually accepted that this wasn't some crazy Belkan trap or anything, and given that he'd been using his red bills sparingly, it was about time to make use of the videophone himself. So now there's a man with dark hair on the screen, giving a salute.]

Good evening. My name is Blaze, former pilot of Osea's 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron. I guess you could say I'm relatively new around here, so I'm hoping that someone could provide assistance for me to find employment in this place.

[Wow, formal there much, Blaze? He was still used to military life, so the mere idea of adjusting to civilian life again was so foreign to him. But he'd been here for a few weeks now, nearly a month, so he'd have to face the facts sometime. He certainly looks uncomfortable asking this- maybe it was paranoia still in the back of his mind, or maybe it was the idea of asking for help in something like this.]

I'm aware of the presence of the employment building, but I'm uncertain of my personal qualifications after months of military service as a fighter pilot. I'd appreciate any assistance or recommendations, if you would have any.

[Telepathy to all of Nova City]

[David inhales and exhales. This situation could get bad and he wanted to stop it before it happened. The first Priestess he spoke to here did mention something about him doing more, maybe this is a way he could do that. When he's ready and has what to say in his mind, he speaks to everyone who happens to be inside of Nova City through his Telepathy.]

Okay, don't freak out at the sudden voice in your head. You aren't going crazy. My name is David Haller and I am projecting my thoughts and speaking to you through Telepathy. I want to ask everyone to calm down. Freaking out and rioting isn't going to help anyone.

[He's not sure how many will actually listen to that, but he has more important things to worry about right now.]

There is something going on with the Power Generator in the city and I am going to take a look and hopefully get this mess all sorted out. Anyone that wants to tag along can come. This is a one way conversation, so I am not listening to everyones thoughts. If you want to speak to me directly, call out my name in your mind and I'll hear it.

Thank you.

[/Telepathy to all of Nova City]

[Video message to the rest of Genessia]

[Once he finds out his device works outside of Genessia, he fires off this message.]

Something is going on with the power generator in Nova City. I'm going to take a look. Tag along if you want.

As a No-Star, Mako was used to finding herself in strange places if she wasn't in her usual home in the slums. Obviously, now things would be much different with the world free of the terrors of the Life-fibers -and Ryuko & Satsuki's crazy mother!- but that wasn't what worried her so much!

...

...

Actually, being in a strange new world would normally be really exciting for Mako if she wasn't sleeping somewhere near The Bay. In Nova City. That would be really inspiring for her to see, gawk and stare at in all it's glory...!

If, as previously stated, she wasn't asleep.

And what about her newfangled device she received upon arriving? It's in her hand. Possibly turned on. With anyone who's listening in possibly hearing her snore oh-so-lightly while currently unaware of her new lifestyle away from home and mystery croquettes.

[Armin wakes in a hospital bed shaking, feeling alone and frightened and bereft. It takes him a few moments to piece together what happened, but then all the memories of the past week come rushing back - and he wishes they hadn't. The torture on its own, he might have been able to handle - but combined with the terror and trauma of his previous death, it had been too much. He runs his hands together disbelievingly, marveling that they're whole again, without pain or scar - or without new scars, anyway.

He takes out his phone, shying from the memory of his actual death. He'd have to face it sometime, but... not now. It's just too soon. He feels like he should take a few moments to compose himself before making a post, but, especially upon seeing he's been dead several days, he's not sure he'll be able to compose himself, without finding out what's happened - if everyone else is all right. And he wants to let them know he's okay too (physically, anyway) as soon as possible.

The camera is shaking a little when he turns it on, his eyes are wide and he's extremely pale. But, though his voice is tremulous, he's very much alive.
]

I, um. I'm b-back, I guess. I'm s-sorry for anyone who h-had to see that, or anyone who w-was worried. But I'm b-better now.

Is... is everyone else all r-right. Sansa? Mikasa?

[Chihiro just couldn't face people right now after everything that he saw... That he had never wanted to see again. It just got him questioning alot about this place and himself. He didn't want to believe that all of his hard work would go to waste at what he had seen, but he felt like it wasn't enough. As he reached over to pick up the device, he was ready to send what was on his mind while he sat on the edge of the water of where the Bay use to be.]

Why do people kill? Why is it something that people feel the need to do? I just don't get it. It never solves anything, it only causes despair and hate for those around them. That fear that maybe they might be next and causes them to lash out. It's never ending.

Back home... In my school... We were forced to try and murder one another... Using motives for us to do it, thinking that we would and at least one time the motive worked and someone wound up dead. I hated what they were trying to make us do, but at the same time it made me realize my own weakness and so I sought to over come my weakness and not let it get to me. I wasn't going to let them win. Even though I knew I would never kill any of my friends, I wanted to believe in my friends too... that they too wouldn't fall for such things.

I had hope.

So when I arrived here, I saw this place as a second chance. A place that I could call home, but... I realized that there are people here as well who are willing to kill and even worse for no reason what so ever. It's needless and something that people should never have to go through, but yet... No matter where we go it always finds a way. I just wanted to get this off my chest. You can skim it if you would like to, I don't mind. I just... wanted to be honest.

[When Chihiro had done, he put the device into his pocket before looking down at the water and at the sparkles that sat within them. That was something that usually wasn't in water and he couldn't help but be a little interested in trying to figure out what it is.]

[The feed randomly turned on after part of her hair fell on it. At first all you see is blonde hair and a voice singing to herself as she was going about her business. And finally after a little bit, the hair seems to have move and now you can see that Rapunzel has made a few adjustments around her apartment. More specifically areas where she could wrap her hair around to lift her up, open things, move around, and climb. And more impressively, she seems to be using her hair to her advantage as she goes about cleaning her living area. Soon enough, she seems to have finished as she clapped her hands together.]

There! That should do it! I think Pascal would be proud of how clean this is. Too bad he isn't here with me... Or Eugene for that matter...

[And then her expression turns somber for a moment before forcing herself not to think about it.]

Okay! No time to stand around. There's still a lot to do around here.

[So with that Rapunzel went off screen as she started to gather pans and other utensils in the kitchen area. While the area is clear, you might notice that her walls that were a bit more plain before now has more paintings covering them. Suddenly the phone falls to the ground with the movement of her hair knocking it off.]

Woops! What was that?

[Going to check the cause of the noise and..]

Oh! This was on? Sorry about that.

[Turning it off now.]

[ Minori has propped up her device on a table, and she's sitting all serious-like in front of it. ]

When I was young, I wanted to study archaeology, but my dad thought it was nothing more than a lot of skullduggery. [ She tries to keep a straight face, but then she bursts out laughing, and her head hits the table surface with pink hair flying everywhere.

She has to catch her breath, but then she's cheerfully continuing. ]

That's why I became a miko!

Anyway Hey! I wanna know punny jokes! And modern stuff! I mean, I'm not from modern times, and I wanna know e~verything so I can make up more jokes! Talk to me, magic box people! Talk until you're horse!

[ And she laughs again, and accidentally knocks her device off the table, ending the feed. ]

[Mewtwo has been watching the influx of newcomers with some trepidation. He was positive that his cave was secure and hidden away from the prying eyes of the rest of the population, but he figured it wouldn't hurt to add some incentive to stay away.]

To the newcomers to this place, a word of caution. Within the mountains of Fayren, there are a multitude of caves that form a vast network of caverns. Within these caverns monsters of all sort lurk, and a beast of great power also calls those caverns home.

If you value your safety, you will stay away.
