[On the screen, a young woman appears, wearing a pair of blue jeans and a white t-shirt that did hug her body a bit. She doesn't look too pleased. Rather, she looked annoyed.]

Asuka, if this is your grandma pulling me into another dimension, can she at least wait until I get my paycheck? I would like to have SOME safety net of cash and not worry about bills! You try being concerned about plumbing!

Or if this is some jackass shinobi again, I get it, you are scared of some big bad Yoma. I ain't some damn toy to be dressed up and put into a stupid diorama, so let me out of this fanfiction theater! Because if I find out that's what this is, no Yoma is gonna be able to top what I do to you, got it!?

[She sighs, rubbing her head. Well at least she wasn't forced into bikini this time.]

And look, if neither of that crap is going on and what Snow White said is true, just tell me where I can find a job at least? Or whose skull I have to cave in? In the mood for the latter more than anything really.

[There's a loud grumbling noise, causing her eyes to widen a bit. She gulps, wiping her mouth of any possible drool. God it felt like forever since the last feast.]

Scratch that. Maybe a place that sells some good barbeque? That's higher on the list right now!

[Action/Attleton Coliseum]

[After getting her fill of food, and meeting weird people, Homura is now prowling around the area, stopping when she sees the coliseum. She grins, fingers already twitching. Well, this place was already filled with so many odd folks. Maybe they could at least provide a decent brawl. She intended to scope out the competition for now, taking to moving to the crowd and watching from above. Who knows, maybe if they were tough enough, she might just jump down for some fun...]

[Action/Fayren Beach]

[Changing into a rather modest black swimsuit, a small skirt surrounding her hips, she had hoped to at least find one of her comrades here. Sadly things seemed to be for naught. She ended up sighing again.]

Grah...Maybe this was a bad idea. Chances are they are sick of water just as much as I am right now...

They just hold those out for anyone? [Definitely not her world then. Still, that did mean there was a good chance for a brawl, and she was itching to hit something after a good meal.] Well, at least this won't be boring. Guessing there are limits though, right?

[With bounties available, she didn't even have to hide her ninja identity. Made things way easier for a change.]

My shinobi team. We finally managed to actually get some work to get our name out there, but then this place crashed those plans.

Well, it's mostly the ordinary jobs. Secretary, wait staff, retail, you know, that sort of thing. It can pay the bills! Iiiif you can handle that sorta thing.

A lot of the others here have businesses that more specifically take advantage of powers, though.

... Oh, so like the Hunter teams in my world! Though, uh, team RWBY's all here now... And everyone else has been here longer than me, meaning I'm even younger...

I was talking more about the bounties. We talking dealing with a pack of crazy idiots or something?

Wait a minute. [The age thing now has her concerned.] Time still moves in this place? Just how old will I be if I ever go back home?

[She really hoped she wouldn't turn as old as her master. Or worse, Asuka's grandma.]

Oh! The Bounties are mostly for the particularly nasty criminals - often types with gimmicky abilities.

As for the aging thing.. I actually don't know how that works? Sorry.

Great. Chances are I'll be spending this upcoming birthday solo from the others.

[Sarcasm laced with that line. Bit of sadness too. Planned on treating the team in a few months.]

Hmm... Possibly? Though I've noticed this place often grabs multiple people from the same world, so you may be in luck?

[Well this was certainly nostalgic... Lethe didn't usually bother to listen to new people because they usually said the same old things but she kept her eyes and ears open in case any friends or old foes showed up. One little thing that managed to catch her interest and not simply ignore this girl altogether was that bit about caving someone's skull in.]

Just for curiosity sake, how exactly do you usually go about caving in people's skulls?

[Lethe's feline ears might be a bit of a tip off that she wasn't exactly human, and she'd stopped bothering to hide them.]

Easy. I punch or kick it in. Could stab it but that kinda defeats the point of what I said, you know?

[Not that she wouldn't try to stab some asshole if they were as bad as Dogen.]

[There may have been... just the faintest hint of a grin on Lethe's face at that response... just a hint of one though.]

You never know, you could be one of those barbarians that uses a great big axe, but I like your style. Not many Beorc use their own bodies as their weapons.

[Forgive her, but the term human is only one Lethe uses when she's trying to be insulting.]

Eh more of a sword person. Not that I mind using my fists if someone wants to test me.

[She raises a brow.] Assuming that means human. Well, I'm not exactly normal compared to others.

[Ew, she uses a sword? And she calls herself human?]

[She was feeling a bit skeptical given that there were very few people here who could be considered normal, so overly powerful individuals came in by the dozens boasting of their powers.]

Well for starters--

[Suddenly a set of seven swords appears behind her. She draws three of them with a single hand, holding them as if it was the most natural thing in the world.]

Doubt many can do this, or cut through steel so easily.

Huh...

[There's a horse of a different color... perhaps not the most powerful of abilities she's ever seen, but certainly one that would make her incredibly formidable in Lethe's world.]

[Genessia's a strange place, so she's seen quite a few things that would make most people blanch.]

Good. Then this won't be a complete waste of time. Least I can get some training in.

So you're measuring up the competition to see who's on your level already?

[Not that Lethe can blame her since she was doing exactly the same thing.]

I don't even bother to advertise my skills as a warrior here very often. There are so many people from all over the cosmos here with powers beyond comprehending that many times I often don't even bother.

[Quite a few of them being out of her League... though she's not 100% certain that this girl is.]

If this were my world, that kind of stuff would have to be hush-hush. But hey, not in my world, and I gotta be strong enough to kill a giant Yoma. Can't afford to slack off.

Besides, a fight every now and then makes life more interesting.

... You have me intrigued, what if I may ask is a giant Yoma?

Basically a demon called Shin. Probably as big as a city.

... Just how big are your cities?

[She's fairly certain it's physically impossible for anything living to be that big. Then again, what did physics even matter in a place like this that defied the laws or reality at every other turn?]

[She shrugs.] I dunno. Not my job to map 'em. Either way that Yoma is bad news, and needs to die ASAP.

So do you plan to kill it with your tiny little swords, or are you trying to gather some sort of an army back home to do so?

[If something that large exists, Lethe highly doubts that swords even twice the size of a human would even be able to penetrate any portion of the beast, unless she was capable of blowing holes in mountains without the mountain simply rolling over and squishing her flat.]

Well duh. Every shinobi under the sun is gonna have to fight that thing anyway. We just need to get even stronger and wait for the bastard to pop up.

[Of course actually knowing what Shin could do would have been useful too.]

[To put it lightly... it sounded more like a bloodbath to Lethe but she didn't want to rain on this girl's parade, especially when she didn't know all the circumstances.]

Well bounty hunting is the standard work for most people with fighting skills in this place, although I think that if you want something a bit more stable and low key, a bouncer or bodyguard might make more sense. Personally? I'm currently working as a bodyguard.

[Although rather unofficially since she more decided she was going to be bodyguard for a certain princess, and were it not for her friendship and influence Lethe would probably be out in the woods hunting for survival as a professional vagrant.]

Putting it lightly.

[Blood was actually a key component to attracting Yoma. But hey, if so many fighters here spilled some already,maybe Yoma didn't exist here? A few unknowns to be certain.]

I'll think about it. I'm the type that prefers to keep moving anyway.

[Just sitting around wasn't her style. Maybe as a gig or two, but not a stable life unless she could help it.]

Sounds to me like you'll fit in around here just fine.

[Bounty hunters and sell swords came by the dozen around here, with rogue ones that didn't like to stay in one place being even more common. In a way, Lethe felt as if she was speaking to the epitome of this percentage of the population here. Then again, Lethe had a bad habit of lumping beorc together.]
