[The young woman on the screen is awkwardly trying to hold her belongings -- the box she woke up with, the communicator in her hands, and what seems to be a fistful of weeds? Wildflowers? She's also got a backpack on her shoulders with a few farming tools sticking out of the back, and an empty watering can hangs from the dirt-smudged apron around her waist.]
Hello. My name is--Oop!
[There goes the box from under her elbow. It clatters to the ground, but nothing appears to be broken. She blushes, but she's still smiling.]
My name is Annie. I'm one of the farmers from Oak Tree Town. How do you do?
[She bows, and her tools clank noisily.]
Thank you for the kind welcome. I'll be staying in the Commonspace for the time being while I sort things out. ...Just a moment.
[She stoops to pick up her box, she wouldn't want to forget it there and have it turn into LITTER.]
That's better! I'd like to meet everyone in person later, if possible. I've lived in a city before, so this is a little nostalgic. But my heart is the heart of a farmer, so give me a little time to work and earn enough to buy a new farm, and you'll be treated to some of the best crops and fresh milk and eggs you've ever tasted!
[Annie bows her head and beams cheerfully, then goes to turn off the feed. Before the screen goes blank, the box drops out from under her elbow again.]

[She's searched high and low for a shipping bin to drop her foraged weeds and wildflowers into for some extra cash, but there doesn't seem to be anything like that. The wildflowers she can give as gifts, but not many people like weeds. She hates to just throw them away when they can be made into fertilizer, but without her processing machines, they're just going to take up space in her bag. Luckily, cities have garbage cans on every block, so she throws the weeds away and dusts her palms together to wipe off some of the dirt.]
[Then she's running through the city, greeting every person she sees, especially if she notices they're wearing a pendant.]
Hello! I'm Annie, nice to meet you. I just arrived!
[That should be obvious. She still has the smell of the countryside lingering about her, of freshly dug earth, cut grass, and warm hay. She's still got the dirt of her farm on her apron and under her fingernails, as well as caked on the soles of her big brown leather shoes. But even if she isn't pristine and sparkling clean, there's a natural warmth in her shining hazel-gold eyes, and a robust health in the rosy color of her cheeks.]
I hope you like wildflowers. I picked a few while I was looking around.
[Never from any public fixtures or in people's yards, but she did find some growing loose on the park grass and in vacant lots. Without waiting for a response, she thrusts one such flower forward as a gift.]
What's your name? When is your birthday?

If you really want to get rid of those, I have a compost bin you can put them in.

[Annie turns in place, still holding the fistful of weeds, as she looks up to see the assassin's face.]
[Naturally, she just smiles.]
That would be great! I don't like to waste a perfectly good fertilizer ingredient.
[Could he be the first person who likes weeds for a gift? She won't chance it. Instead she just waits for him to lead on.]

[Once it's clear that she's going to follow him, he starts leading her to his nursery.]

[Once they reach the nursery, Annie darts past him, bursting with excitement as she flits from flowerpot to flowerpot, examining each one with avid interest. She can tell they're well-grown just by looking at them. No yellow leaves to indicate overwatering, no brown leaves to indicate soil that's gone too dry. If this were her world, hearts would be bubbling out of her head right about now.]
Did you grow all of these? Do you have a greenhouse?
no subject
[He steps behind the counter, indicating for her to follow, and opens a door to more verdant scenery.]
It's in the back.

[Annie just strolls right in, openly admiring the plants as she goes.]
Do you have hollyhocks too? We never got the seeds for those in Oak Tree Town, but they're one of the best flowers.
[Finding the compost bin, she tosses in the weeds and swipes the last clumps of dirt from her hands.]
Easy as pie! If you need more, let me know. I'm sure I could find a lot out there.

Several varieties.
[He shakes his head at her offer.]
No need. You can always dump them here if you don't want them to go to waste, though.
((Regarding our "Annie meeting Lopunny" idea: I could have her wandering around the greenhouse if you want to do it here!))

[She nods appreciatively.]
I'll keep that in mind. Thank you kindly.
[Her head turns this way and that as she gets yet another look at the greenhouse.]
Once I get my farm going, I'll have to come back here to pick up some starter seeds. it's nice to meet another farming enthusiast around here. --Say, do you know if anyone's hiring farmers for a month or so?

[Just putting it out there. Meanwhile, there's something brown, furry, and child-sized shyly peeking out from behind some plants.]
[action]
Hello.
[She looks at the flower before taking it from her.]
[Wow, you talk a lot @__@]
[action]
[action]
[Oh, she asked questions in there, didn't she--sorry, random people talking to her still throws her off...]
Tomoe... My name is Tomoe. It's nice to meet you, Annie-san.
[action]
Nice to meet you too! Please don't mind my enthusiasm. Meeting new people is my favorite part of starting over in a new town, and there are a lot here to meet!
[action]
I see... [a pause] You must travel often...?
[Going to a new locale was a pretty big deal in her day...]
[action]
Nope, this is my second time, actually. But it's always exciting to start out fresh and see what happens. ...Even if I didn't sign up for it this time, I don't think?
[Annie lays a finger against her mouth, pensive, looking around her. No, definitely no weird flyers showing up in her mailbox about a distant city on another planet.]
Just so long as no one misses me too much, I don't mind pitching in. Looks like this place could use some fresh farm blood!
[action]
[She isn't sure she believes that, but all things considered is it really that difficult to believe?]
You are a farmer?
action.
[He simply answers her. A country girl? It was about time someone different than some Gods. Of course she hands him a flower and he simply accepts it. What a strange girl.]
And why do you want to know that?
[It's Oct. 8th... ]
action.
Gifts mean a lot more if you get something special on your birthday. And it's good manners too, being a new neighbor and all!
[No super powers here, unless you count Being a Really Good Farmer as a godly ability.]
I try to make people's favorite food on that day. 'Course that's a little tricky right now, but in the future?
[She puts her hands on her hips and nods once, beaming.]
It'll be a real nice treat!

[His doll is very needy.]

Hello! What's your name? I don't mind meeting in person, I do better remembering faces after all. [turnip emoticon]
It's up to the city what they're willing to give me! Ideally it would be close to water so I can dig a well and use that to water the crops and feed the animals.
But I'm sure there are plenty of farms out there already! The grocery store has to get its groceries from somewhere.
Re: Text
Goodness, you're the first woman I've heard to labor so hard. Must come from hardy stock.
Either that or create them ex nihilo. The city's supply chain is a mysterious thing.
[An interesting mystery, now that he thinks of it. Where did Genessia City get its produce? Not from outside; the fakes can't cross cities. But the entire place is urban, isn't it? Where could they possibly grow it all--the park? Greenhouses?]
Text
[Always so honest, even when it does her no credit...]
I don't know about stock, but I had the best teacher a fledgling farmer could ever want. Besides, there's nothing more satisfying than seeing plants and trees grow healthy and strong because of your own efforts. It's real rewarding!
So where are you right now? I've got a lot of exploring to do and plenty of sunlight left in the day!
[Time moves a lot differently here, that's for sure. And without any chores to speak of, the most efficient use of her time is to befriend as many other villagers as she can.]
Re: Text
Cool as Latin sounds, he doesn't expect everyone to know it.]
Oh, that means "from nothing", which is how a few things get made here. You'll acclimatize.
No place for a lady, that's for certain! Good things
and Tedcome to those who wait, and there's many more to meet yet. As a farmer I'm sure patience, for a virtue, comes easily to you.[Annie plz.]

Re: Text
All right, but don't hold your breath. It will be a while before I'm done. Don't trouble yourself for my sake.
[A sentence he'd love chiseled on his forehead for all to heed.]

Hope you feel nice and refreshed soon!

[Fingers crossed she takes his word for it.]

She is currently in a park with her and Eren's two dogs; a silver and white colored husky malamute mix and a German Shepherd, though the dogs are running after a ball or two when the girl approaches her.
... Mikasa keeps her poker face even when the name reminds her of another Annie. A completely different Annie and she's not used to people having same names, not really. It's not really a thing back home with so few humans around and she has been running to a wild variety of names here and in Empatheias too. But it's not a problem either, really, she is clearly not the same Annie that she knows from Titan Hell.
If anything she reminds Mikasa of her childhood as the happy only child of two farmers... So she takes the flower even when she is suspicious of everyone these days at first.]
Thank you, I do like them and this is very pretty... Mikasa Ackerman and [Wait what?] ...Why do you want to know my birthday?
Action
It's the best time to give your friends and neighbors a present they like. Everyone likes birthday gifts, self included!
[She won't push and ask again, but hopefully the explanation is sufficient enough that she can make note of it on her calendar. She turns her head to see the two dogs sprinting through the field, and her expression somehow manages to turn even warmer.]
Those dogs are real cute! Are they yours?
