WHAT: Graverobber and Faye go on a date after Graverobber answered Gren's personal ad for her

Graverobber hasn't been to Jack's Bar before, so he stands outside the front of it feeling mildly out of place and idly just scrolling through his device while he waits. He's dressed somewhat nicer than usual -- his hair's been brushed and he's wearing non-ratty versions of his normal clothes -- but he's still identifiable himself. Which in this case means a black shirt, long coat, and jeans that haven't been ripped anywhere.

He'd heard of Faye before the personal ad, but only in passing and really just in the context of her working at Fortuna Palace. Apart from that, he doesn't know much, including why she has a friend (?) scouting dates for her. But, hey, a night out can't hurt. Besides, only way to know more about someone was to talk, so some drinks and chatter didn't seem like a bad way to spend time.

"Really now? Not even a little bit of the old mischief while you've been here? Shame," he says, grinning and clearly teasing as he takes another sip off his drink.

"Hmm...Could be. Or could just be that I haven't got caught." She grins right back at him as she finishes her cigarette, crushing it into a small tin ashtray. "A good girl can't be good all the time, hmm...?"

"Wouldn't know. I don't seem to spend a whole lotta time around good girls," he says with a teasing grin. "Seems like I always wind up around the baddest girls around."

"Oh, really? Then it must be so refreshing to be spending time with such a sweet, innocent girl like me." The way she tilts and smiles could make someone really believe that she is such a good girl after all.

"Oh, of course," he teases. "I could hardly imagine a sweet girl like you getting into any trouble. All you could ever do is help the poor, where long-sleeved clothing, and read a prayer book."

Faye kept up her sweet smile and fluttered her long dark eyelashes at him. "Of course." Then she waved a hand at herself, inviting a look at her cleavage and her legs long beneath the short dress. "I just ooze sweetness and innocence. Don't I?"

He huffs out a small laugh. "Oh, absolutely," he says, still grinning, and maybe eyeing her boobs and legs as she indicates them. (Hey, she pointed them out, it'd be wrong to ignore them.) "Just as virtuous as a nun at chapel, you are."

Faye just watches him, tracking the movement of his gaze - eye away. As her casual smile suggests, she really doesn't mind him looking. "Most definitely. So much so I'll have to go pray for forgiveness...being out having drinks alone with a man like this..."

That earns a heartier laugh. "Oh, of course. Three whole drinks, you're practically dancing in hellfire with that," he teases. "'Course, I'm a terrible fucking influence to be around, so maybe I shouldn't talk."

Faye pretends to gasp when he teases her, swearing like that, like she's a poor little flower to hear anything so awful. "Oh dear... Then maybe I should leave before you're even more of a terrible influence..." Despite the innocent smile on her lips, there was perhaps a glint in her eye that wasn't quite so innocent.

He wears a small grin at that before winking at her teasingly. "Should you? Maybe I'm a good influence. Maybe I'm a saint in disguise and you're judging me too quickly based off of all sorts of terrible assumptions," he teases, voice dripping with a faux solemnity.

"Oh, really?" Faye leans over the table with a pretend childish excitement, her eyes large and beaming at him. "What can you teach me, great saint?"

"Lots of stuff, I'm sure," he says, grinning even more. "Real saintly stuff, like how to mix a mean drink and how to sneak away from angry cops. Holy shit like that."

"Aren't you just so holy, doing all that sort of 'holy shit'?" Faye gazes at him as though in rapture. "I hope you don't mind being here with me. But I promise you, I'm a good girl..." Faye smirks but their talk is interrupted by the waiter who stands next to their table, blushing as he awkwardly collects their glasses and asks if they want anything else.

Graverobber grins, his amusement especially evident when the waiter comes by blushing as red as a tomato. "Oh, I've no doubt you are," he says, voice dripping with oh-so-serious sincerity. "Why you're just the very picture of morality and righteousness."

Faye sits back in her seat and laughs, then looks up at the waiter. "Hear that? I'm very picture of morality and righteousness. You think so too don't you?" The waiter gets a wink from her too. "I don't think I want anything else right now...do you?" She nods across at her partner in crime. Poor waiter.

He returns the smile, and then glances at the waiter. "I think I'm all good then, too. Would hate to get sloppy drunk in front of such a saint of purity and virtue and all that good stuff, of course."

Faye laughs and reaches for a napkin so that she can wave it at herself as though she is all overwhelmed with everything going on. "Even that is a sign of goodness - how sweet and considerate of you!"

As the waiter leaves, he says, "Ah, well, I'd hate to overwhelm a poor saintly girl like you, after all. It'd be terrible to be such a rascal and a scoundrel when such fair maidens were about, and all that shit."

Faye laughs louder, and if she wasn't getting any attention from othera before, she sure is now. "Fair maidens... That's a good one, you rascal..." She laughs again then tosses her napkin at him.

He laughs, attempting (and failing) to bat the napkin away as it hits him. "And here goes my attempts at chivalry, earning me nothing but mockery," he teases. "A poor gentleman might weep."

"Aww now, don't be cruel. Here was me thinking we were having a nice time." Faye's pout is overdone and is only for effect anyway, but it was clearly the kind of face that many men would instantly fall for. In fact, it seems to have drawn attention from a couple of guys nearby - maybe they've been looking for an in.

Graverobber sees the other men angling for their entrance, and he glances at them open with his eyebrow arched, as if ready to challenge them. Then he turns back to Faye, expression far smoother. "Au contraire. We're having a grand 'ol time, napkin attacks aside, of course."

Faye watches him turn to the other men and grins, and she is smiling at him when he turns back. "Oh, I'd say so. Not so bad for a blind date when you don't know what you're getting, hmm?"

He chuckles at that. "Not bad at all. Can't say I've got any complaints."
