[Letter to Albus (Delivered by Phoenix Patronus) -]

As promised, here is your first letter. The potions I have been brewing for Mistress Kelpie have all failed. The first portion of the curse has been broken - as I told you - but the remaining parts are testing my patience. If I can't break them outright, I am planning on shifting the effects to another target. It would give her a respite. Of course that leaves me in an uncomfortable position, doesn't it? Who will bear her curse for a, hopefully, short while?

I can think of no one better than myself. Which means I need you to oversee the process. When it's time.

No, don't argue with me. I can already see your expression. Maybe some of your selflessness is rubbing off on me.

In better news, I think we should take our trip in the next week or so. There might be ingredients I haven't encountered yet in the wilds of Genessia. I might be hoping for a breakthrough so I don't need to torture myself.

Besides that, we need to get to know one another again. If you're amenable. I do think about you an unhealthy amount.

[A Dark Wizard should never look so innocent or at ease. But Gellert encompasses both descriptors as he sits against a tree in the Fayren forest. His golden curls are artfully tousled and there is an open journal in his lap. Notes are scribbled in both English and German on the pages - as well as pictures drawn by his hand.]

This is a long shot, but has anyone heard of liquid luck? [His nose wrinkles delicately and he sighs.] It's called Felix Felicis and it is a potion that is molten gold if it is brewed correctly. The ingredients I can recall are...

Ashwinder egg(s), squill bulb(s), murtlap tentacle(s), tincture of thyme, occamy eggshell(s) and powdered common rue.

Does any of that ring a bell?
