[The feed cuts on to show Uai, his cosmetics routine perfected to hide his stress. Since his disaster of a conversation with Rose, he's been overthinking and talking less. It has not proven to be a good way to deal with his problems.]

... Soooo. What's the general opinion on the Dream Docks? Do they work? Is it worth it? [...] And also~ Opinion on things like... If your home is sort of better without you. Do you just not go back? Sorta occurred to me recently that we're not all swell people. Also, what's prison like here? 

And I'm just curious and morbid, as usual. But look! [He swings the camera to show a display of bread. LOTS of bread. His kitchen counter is basically a bread store now, with every shape and flour you could imagine. There are even some sweets on display.] I have bribery bread. So answers would be rewarded.

[It's actually stress baking. Not the point.]

[That stress baking has been going on for a few days. Uai has sort of taken over the kitchen, actually. He's there a lot anyway, since cooking and taking care of people comes naturally. But his recent bout of stress baking has sort of gotten out of hand and someone should come whack him with one of the bread loaves.

For now, he waves in greeting whenever someone comes by. He's smiling, too, despite all of the stress.]

[The question brings back memories of Liora's time at the Dream Docks and the horrors she'd witnessed at home.]

Well...that depends. Sometimes good things happen at home, and sometimes bad things...

If your home is better off without you? I don't think so... If it's true that time stands still at home while we're here, then it wouldn't make a difference...

That is true... Even if it's multiple timelines, I would return to one eventually.

Unless, it might be possible that we find a way to never leave Genessia. I could find that instead of a way home.

Ah...I think Weiss Schnee is already working on that. She's said that she's built too much here, and doesn't want to lose those memories by returning home. So...I think she wants to stay here as well. Maybe you could help her with that?

I really need to get home myself, though...as soon as possible...

Then yeah, I’d work with her on that. Do you agree that there might be some people here who shouldn’t go back home?

I...don't think so. Why would you think that certain people shouldn't go home?

I just like hypotheticals. I realized that a lot of people assume getting home is the best option, but what if it wasn't? That sort of thing. Maybe Genessia is like a prison for people who bring ill to their world.

[liorafae]

[A soft gasp escapes her, almost offended that he would suggest such a thing.]

That's not true! I know I don't bring ill to my world! In fact, I'm trying to save it!

[She lets out a sigh to calm herself.]

The only reason I can think of that it would be better to stay here is if a person died in their own world.

[Honestly, when he's feeling like this? Her reaction just fuels him.]

What about the villains? What if we have people here who were trying to end their worlds?

[She really doesn't get where he's going with this.]

We've had...villains...brought here as well. That's why the people here have their laws. If the "villains" cause trouble here, they'll be caught and put in a...I think humans call it a "jail?"

I won't disagree with that: The Guardian system here practically exists to keep those people in line. But is sending them home really the best course of action?

I'm not sure what the general consensus is on that sort of thing, but it's crossed my mind. I have people from home that I wouldn't want sent back.

Well...like I said...I don't think it really makes a difference, if time is standing still in our own worlds while we're here. Which means...I'm not sure if we're really here at all. Like...this must be a dream. After all, we do wake up from a deep sleep when we arrive here...

[She doesn't know what it is, but it's the only explanation she can think o that makes sense.]

... That sounds more like the opposite. Wouldn't it be that the other world is a dream? We go to sleep to return there.
