[The feed cuts on to show Uai, his cosmetics routine perfected to hide his stress. Since his disaster of a conversation with Rose, he's been overthinking and talking less. It has not proven to be a good way to deal with his problems.]

... Soooo. What's the general opinion on the Dream Docks? Do they work? Is it worth it? [...] And also~ Opinion on things like... If your home is sort of better without you. Do you just not go back? Sorta occurred to me recently that we're not all swell people. Also, what's prison like here?

And I'm just curious and morbid, as usual. But look! [He swings the camera to show a display of bread. LOTS of bread. His kitchen counter is basically a bread store now, with every shape and flour you could imagine. There are even some sweets on display.] I have bribery bread. So answers would be rewarded.

[It's actually stress baking. Not the point.]

[That stress baking has been going on for a few days. Uai has sort of taken over the kitchen, actually. He's there a lot anyway, since cooking and taking care of people comes naturally. But his recent bout of stress baking has sort of gotten out of hand and someone should come whack him with one of the bread loaves.

For now, he waves in greeting whenever someone comes by. He's smiling, too, despite all of the stress.]

What do you need? I'll get it for you.

"Forever" doesn't sound as bad anymore. [Thinking about his current occupation is weird. He went from serving the Silverwings to being spoiled by the Kuronekos, and now?]

Or maybe Ryoma means Genessia?] I work at a tea shop here. So really: Tea is my life. I'm one step from marrying it.

[A little chuckle escaped the warrior, he was certainly committed to..serving others. He perked up at the water boiling a little, but it wasn't ready yet.]

..Tell me. There has something I have been curious about. You were the one that found this house, correct?

[From his place across the kitchen, keeping his safe distance, Uai was prepared to force the water to boil. Likewise, he was impatient and felt trapped with Ryoma. Interacting with people is easier when you don't live with them.]

Mm. I learned to bake bread for... reasons. [FLIRTING.]

Not just me. Azura was the one who did most of the work. She really wants you all to get along. [Which means that Uai wants the same, though he knows better than to openly admit that.]

I'm just helping you guys make rent until you can afford it on your own.

[He nodded slowly. Right. It was Azura's idea too, but he stuck around.]

I see. It sounds like you have no intention of staying, do you?

[Ryoma looked to the water pot, it was almost near to bubbling..almooost]

Azura, along with Corrin, have always been the peacemakers in all of our messes. It's too bad we didn't see it at the time. Hm. Well. That's neither here nor there.

Regardless. I've got to say that, alone, Azura would not been able to do this. Not even with Corrin. But both you and Azura..

[He was watching poor Uai] Why did you help our beloved sister?

[Triggered by words like BELOVED.

Uai averts his gaze, forcing a frown. He doesn't like this. He doesn't trust himself to be loyal and faithful, when he's so miserable and lonely. It hurts whenever he realizes how horrible and monstrous he really is...

So the frown becomes natural within a few seconds.]

She helped me first. I owe her. That's all that there is to it.

[He glances at the teapot, desperate for it to save him from this conversation.]

I just want for her to be happy here.

[tweeeeeeeet, saved by the tea pot whistles. Ryoma turned, immediately turned off the oven and started to pour it in the tea cups and with the lavender packets within.]

I see. That is certainly honorable for you to owe someone a full home for her to be happy.

[A content smile formed on his face] Is that all? Just a debt to be paid? I would be curious to know what she did for you.

[Walking over, Ryoma place both cups at the table; Uai across from Ryoma ideally. The prince sat down and waited patiently]

[The sound of the kettle almost kills him with fright. Uai briefly disappears. Literally. He’s a scared, teleporting cat who ends up reappearing by the doorway... Then he relaxes. Sort of. These questions are as frightening as the tea kettle. Even as he comes to the table, Uai is on edge.]

She made me cookies. [It’s not a lie??] Why does it matter anyway? She’s kind. That shouldn’t surprise anyone.

[Poor kid. Ryoma wrapped his hands around his cup. He didn't mind the hotness-and actually he was used to it. He'd felt worse. But right now? He could see that Uai was still on edge. So maybe a break.]

You're right. It doesn't. Even when we took her in, she immediately was apart of our family. Kind, warm-hearted, generous, and such an old soul for someone her age. Let alone now with her mediation skills with us all.

[Ryoma paused, pondering, and letting that sit. He was curious what Uai would say afterwards..after all of that..]

[His sakura gaze lingers on Ryoma for a moment longer. This doesn't seem to be a trap. Ryoma is acting sincere in his attempt to bond... but that's terrifying to Uai. He doesn't see any reason why a person who "gets to know him" will also want to keep him.

It's better to maintain a polite distance. The last thing that Uai wants is for Azura's family to hate him. So bonding with Ryoma is scary.]

Mm. Someone like that deserves to be blessed. [He can feel his ears burning pink, which is weird.] Not that I'm a blessing, in particular... But until she's sick of me, and wants me to disappear... I'll be here.

So get used to me.

[He is the oldest of his siblings, and very intimidating, so UNDERSTANDABLE Uai, but Ryoma listened. Agreeing with Uai silently, noticing his blush.

Good. This was all good, and a smile finally formed]

I will, then. I am honored to know someone who believes my beloved sister ought to be blessed. [especially considering how Azura wasn't really the one to socialize or show her emotions. He knew Azura liked him too with his attitude...

The Prince sipped his tea] -And I know you won't disappear. What do you think about that?

... Well, I. [Didn't expect that kind of answer. Uai was digging his heels into the ground in preparation for a battle of wills.

Now he just feels silly for overachieving, in his unique Uai way.]

I should clean up the kitchen. I apologize for the trouble. I'll store what bread I can, and give away the rest.
