[The feed cuts on to show Uai, his cosmetics routine perfected to hide his stress. Since his disaster of a conversation with Rose, he's been overthinking and talking less. It has not proven to be a good way to deal with his problems.]

... Soooo. What's the general opinion on the Dream Docks? Do they work? Is it worth it? [...] And also~ Opinion on things like... If your home is sort of better without you. Do you just not go back? Sorta occurred to me recently that we're not all swell people. Also, what's prison like here? 

And I'm just curious and morbid, as usual. But look! [He swings the camera to show a display of bread. LOTS of bread. His kitchen counter is basically a bread store now, with every shape and flour you could imagine. There are even some sweets on display.] I have bribery bread. So answers would be rewarded.

[That stress baking has been going on for a few days. Uai has sort of taken over the kitchen, actually. He's there a lot anyway, since cooking and taking care of people comes naturally. But his recent bout of stress baking has sort of gotten out of hand and someone should come whack him with one of the bread loaves.

For now, he waves in greeting whenever someone comes by. He's smiling, too, despite all of the stress.]

[The thought makes him flinch. The closet thing that Uai has to a family is probably Hana, isn't it? After all, aren't his Hana and him a found family?

He averts his gaze briefly, with his feelings still tangled over that issue. In a lot of ways, this Hana hurts him more than she helps him. But that is hardly her fault.]

You know from living with me: I don't need a home. I don't sleep or anything. I'm just using the space to put some spare clothes that I like. [And he wants to buy his own piano.]

And I don't have a family here. You mean "Azura's family."

[Hana squeaked, watching him] A family lives and cares for each other. No doubt that they care for you, especially Azura. They all seem like nice people.

[Even Takumi, even though she's a tad afraid of him..a lot]

[Don't you go talking about Azura, Hana. You're making this weirder.]

You should learn some judgment skills before you throw words like "love" around. Especially at me. I'm a few shades of awful.

[Hana was taken aback again, flinching.

She hesitated a bit with how harsh his words were, but Hana kept going]

No. I shouldn't. Because love exists for everyone in all forms of caring. Uai, you say that you're awful, but you're not.

[Fidgeting, nervous, she continued, saddened] You're not awful. I don't understand why you keep thinking as much when I clearly see you in a good place, being kind. I don't understand you.

Exactly. You don't understand me.

If you did, you wouldn't be saying those things.

[And he hopes to the gods that she never has to find out. He can't imagine Hana being very fond of him or his company if she knew the truth.]

Who wants to be wardrobe shopping?

Uai moves to leave, grabbing his wallet as he does. Aside from rent, Hana is the only reason he has for money.]

[Hana rubbed her head, and rubbed her eyes a bit before gathering her own things. But she stared back in confusion]

Don't..say you're awful, when you're so nice to me, please? Because you're a joy a-and I know you like to tease and be mean but I know you enough to know you're..fun.

Like now! And awful person would not go out to search for new worlds in wardrobes with me! So..

[..Okay that was harder to stand her ground. But gosh darnit she hopes Yoshiya will be proud of her!!]

[To Uai, it almost sounds like mockery. Maybe not Hana mocking him, but like some stroke of fate is taunting him. He listens, fiddling with his braid as he does.

It doesn't feel good to hear her say that. Instead, it's a bit scary. It makes him think his Hana back home might not hate who he's become... and that's never going to happen.]

... Okay, fine. If it bothers you that much.

But when you change your mind, I get to say "Toldya so."

[Hana giggled and nodded]
