[ There's a beautiful, yet refined looking young man with a lack of a burn scar, but the rings around his wrist were still there. His expression was genuinely kind and lack of something that he usually had when he wasn't so kind. There was a lack of a lot of things, but no one knows what who is behind that mask when he was around, though his voice hasn't changed much. ]

Jisho, I hope your dojo is working well. Genessia seems quite busy, and Rekka, I would like some of your time. As for everyone else, my name is Kurei. I am not sure if I have introduced myself. I am currently jobless and I am curious to what jobs Genessia has to offer aside the ones I have researched.

[ He's also a shinobi still, but that's a secret. ]

Aside from that comment, Kurei is seen around Nova City and Fayren, seeking out information for other reasons. Of course, he's a shinobi so he still lives by the way of the shinobi but not quite as psychotic when he's usually himself. In his arms, he bought a few things, and roses included for his beloved. There were various other items, but he doesn't seem to be too worried about it as he balances it well, heading from Fayren over to Nova City.

Anyone can seen a strangely kind, yet well postured man walking in the middle of the day.

[ ooc: Kurei is a modern Shinobi but he has none of his crazies. Kurenai never died, and he never suffered mentally. He's also a very kind and gentle person. At least for the AU event. ]

[Kurenai wanted to see about having a flower shoppe, but to do so needed much research on the flora around the five cities, doing feasibility studies and well, just reading up on research materials. Happily, Yuuki helped Kurenai find all the materials she needed from the library after her shift from work.

So she was walking back to Attleton when she heard her communicator go off. It was Kurei. She had a large pile of books and research materials which kept her arms still as she tried to support the extra weight. Since she couldn't reach for her communicator, she had to use the necklace instead to communicate with Kurei.

She recognized his voice, but there was something different about it. Something more tender. Perhaps Kurei was having some tea and was very relaxed.]

I'm sorry Kurei. I was trying to do that feasibility study on the business we were talking about. I'm sorry if I made you worry..

[It was rude if Kurenai wouldn't glance at Kurei at least once during their conversation. So she chanced a glance at him whilst waiting to cross the road.

Then she saw him. The flawless him. His face was clear. His expression was exceedingly kind and gentle. Something which she remembered from long ago, back when she was still alive.

At the sight of him, Kurenai couldn't help but accidentally drop all her reading materials. She immediately searched her skirt's pockets for her communicator so she'd have a larger view. For a moment, both lids were wide open as she silently looked upon Kurei. There was no mistaking it, this was Kurei. But something was different.]

[ There's a blank, quizzical look on his face when she reacted as she did. Somehow, it seemed strange that her actions were a little out of the ordinary. He doesn't dislike it but he wonders if there's something that's bothering her. She seems to be staring intensely at him, while giving him a rather confused look.

The man on the other side of the screen blinks before speaking. ]

You should leave a note or text. It's unsettling when I don't know where you are.

[ Not that he's a control freak. He still just worries-- you know? ]

...Hmmm...? What is it, Kurenai?

[His not angry. His temper was not there. No coldness no loathing. It was unnerving to see Kurei like this. And yet, this was the Kurei she fell in love with. She fell inlove with his gentleness and kindness.]

I'm so sorry. I didn't kno... I should have. I'm sorry, Kurei.

[She shook her head. This might just be a dream or something. It was almost as if he had never pushed the button. It was almost as if Mister Mori didn't exist.

He's worrying. He's concerned. Kurenai is so happy, but it's still scary. She doesn't know what's happening. Did someone hit him on the head and he lost all his memories after his father's atrocity? What's more, where was the scar she left on his face?

She stood up and tried to collect the reading materials. She hailed a cab to bring her back to their apartment. Once settled inside the cab, she looked back at the feed with a smile, though tears were escaping her eyes.]

[ It was indeed unnerving but Kurei had no memory of that right now, so she was going ot have to sort of deal with it on her own accord-- take advantage of it before it disappears completely. The man didn't seem to make anymore comments for a moment, awaiting her reply. ]

Kurenai you seemed startled. I'm not mad.

[ He replied, giving her a brief smile for her comment. Mouri didn't exist for him, nope. At least in this delusion. Maybe they did or maybe things happened that he couldn't control to be honest. ]

...Scar?

[ He didn't seem like he understood what she meant. ] Kuenai what are you talking about?

As always, people are efficient when introduced to lots of money. The mansion behind it is lagging, but the premises where I shall hold classes is nearing completion. A day or two should be enough.

[Jisho couldn't understand the use of plastic surgery. Why do people bother making themselves beautiful and removing scars. Scars and stitches are signs of manliness after all. It shows people of your past fights, your brutality and how you've survived everything. Jisho would gladly show off all his scars as much as he would gladly show off all his muscles. It was part of his pride.

But when he saw the feed, he noticed his master dawning a clear face. His features seemed gentle and it looked like he was genuinely happy. What was Jyushinshuu's main goals? Protect Master Kurei and ensure his happiness. Or at least, that's what he believed it to be. So, seeing him like this made the large shinobi smile.]

It seems like being with Mistress Kurenai is having positive effects on you. Lucky dog.

[ The man replied nodding his head. ]

I seee, well make sure that things are done accordingly.

[ Well to be honest, Jisho, he's not really the usual Kurei, so his scar is gone. There's nothing tragic that led him to where he was, though it did take a lot of his backbone away. He still held his ground firmly. Kurei when he was himself, valued his scar very much. That was the contract he had made with Kurenai, in order to stay with her forever.

Yes, he does seem very happy because he himself feels happy for having the love of his life back with him. ]

Kurenai is my happiness, Jisho. You know that. Heh.

[ There's a pleasant smile on his face when the man spoke again. ] I suppose I am in such slangs.

Of course, Master Kurei. All your wishes are my command. Except for details only Mistress Kurenai can handle.

[He laughed boisterously. This was just perfect. Now that he had his dead girlfriend back, Master Kurei can finally find happiness. Kurenai can handle the romantic aspects, and Jisho will handle everyone else. He will give his life to protect Kurei after all. They've gone through a whole lot of shit the past five years, but until the time Koran Mori finds his way here, this will be a safe haven for them - not that it will be for the rest of the residents, but who cares?

[ He replied giving him a brief smile. ] Now, I wouldn't be too suggestive.

[ Strangely enough, this man was one of his bodyguards. He could never get tired of him. A strangely honourable man. ]

What are you implying, Jisho? Was I miserable before? I cannot recall.

There are just certain things that I know even with my great capacity, I cannot offer you assistance to.

[There was that smile with a hint of sadness hidden behind it. He watched as Master Kurei spiraled after Kurenai's death. No amount of drinks, fights or entertainment could ever soothe his pain. So yes, there were things that none of them could ever do for Kurei, that Kurenai could.] Oh yes. Of course, I wouldn't dare.

[Then the sad smile was replaced with a sullen expression. He saw all his master's pain before. He saw it, and knew he kept most of it inside.]

[Shinobi are awesome. Sadly Satsuki has never employed one. But what's happening right now doesn't require the services of a shinobi, but rather a Kiryuin.

Once Kurei turns a particular corner, he comes to see several law enforcement vehicles in front of an alleyway, then a seven-foot tall, tentacled, green... thing goes flying from it and slams against on of the vehicles with such force that it dents inward. Once it hits the ground it lets out a massive belch and several jewels spill out of it's mouth. The officers standing by quickly rush to arrest the thug, and that is when the Deputy Guardian steps from the alleyway with several scratches and smudge upon her uniform.]

[ Kurei seemed to be a bit concerned when he turned the corner and felt something off. There were vehicles about in front of a random alleyway. He observes it quietly, his expression remained neutral and blank. Ther was a huge beast about seven feet tall. It was green and he had never seen something like that before. He watched as it slammed into a vehicle and realized that it wasn't there to play around.

He was going to react but it seemed like someone else had taken the lead. It appeared to be a young woman in a seifuku that he had not seen before. He seemed curious though guarded. She seemed like a rather formidable being. ]

[In normal circumstances, Satsuki would offer some sort of lecture to the fallen criminal, but she just isn't in the mood for such things today. It isn't that the job is 'small' that bothers her, but it seems somehow they've been occurring more.]

He's dropped several jewels along the way, have the area cleaned up.

[instructed to one of the officers before her gaze shifts in Kurei's direction. Roses? Nothing unusual about that, but she approaches him anyway with a gaze that can't really be considered friendly; but she isn't openly scowling either.]

Deputy Guardian of Nova City, Satsuki Kiryuin. [she greets] Are you a native of this city?

[ Someone who regarded her duty strongly. Something that Kurei admired in people. Even if he was a little different, he still appreciated people's struggles. He eyed her again as she finally spoke to him. He was only passing by but the look on his face told her was carefully examining what had happened.

The roses were still fresh, and held a rather bitter sweet scent as she could see. ]

A pleasure, Kiryuin.

[ He addressed simply. ]

A foreigner who has temporarily taken residence much like yourself, Kiryuin.

[There isn't much to see, considering most of the action happened out of his current line of sight. More clues could probably be picked up if he looked in the alley, but Satsuki clearly has no intention of allowing him to do that.]

Ah, I see. It is nice to see some denizens choosing to settle in this City. I have been attempting to meet as many newcomers as I can to assist in their settling in upon their arrival, and it would appear I have mananaged to miss you.

[There's a brief pause as she looks over her shoulder, then back to the young man.]

The situation here is in good hands. If you have time to spare, might we talk a bit?

[Disgusting. Rekka refused to accept this was his brother. He had no idea what was going on.

Rekka wasn't even sure why he couldn't contact his dragons or Yanagi. Even their kanji was gone from his arms. Something was very wrong here.]

[ Of course, there wasn't any hostility or anger from this tone. It was seemingly calm and almost sickeningly gentle. Rekka was right. It might not be his brother, but he probably influenced by something, but Kurei didn't seem to think anything of it. ]

I heard you sustained injuries.

[ Of course, he's going to state the obvious. He didn't dispatch Jisho for no reason. He was keeping tabs on everything, just as a shinobi should. ]

[Struck with overwhelming shock at the reply he received from his brother, Rekka didn't reply at first.]

[Rekka glanced away from the screen to absorb the situation.

This wasn't his brother. It couldn't be his brother. He didn't have the scar...Kurei looked at peace with himself.

It was almost as if Mouri never existed in Kurei's life. He paused for a few moments longer.]

[Rather than lash out, Rekka took a calm approach.]
