[Closed] Log--Adventures on Monster Island!
Who: Trunks Brief, Steve Rogers, Doc Emmett Brown, and Seventeen
What: Exploring the new archway and visiting cute(?) animals.
Where: Monster Island Sub-Archway in Fayren.
When: First week of October sometime...
Warnings? None yet?
Summary: Trunks is curious to see where Seventeen works back in their world, and is bringing along two friends.
Trunks had figured meeting just outside the Fayren main-archway was the best place to meet. Fayren was by far the 'largest' of the cities in his opinion, and hardest to navigate in some ways because of the forest. He was actually curious to see where Seventeen 'worked' and lived--and it was still so very odd to him, in some ways, to think of how the other was NOT the android-nightmare Trunks had grown up fearing and hating.
The two actually had proved they worked well together, and got along.
In any event, Trunks had set this up, and was now just waiting for everyone to gather. He was not concerned (or so he told himself), about what Seventeen might've given up to pay for an archway. That was how it worked right?--you had to sacrifice something. At least that's what Trunks had heard...

He approached with a friendly smile, wearing one of his usual bright blue shirts. There's a satchel thrown over his shoulder, filled with emergency supplies. Just in case.
"I've never explored one of these before," he admits. "Thank you for the invitation."
(do we have a posting order?)
Steve was dressed casually, in khaki trousers, a button down shirt and his leather bomber jacket. He had a pack over his shoulder with some supplies like water and protein snacks, just in case. "This is, well, interesting. New to me, for sure." He looked over at Doc, giving him a warm smile. "Hey, I'm Steve."
(/points to plurk)
Seventeen chimed in the conversation as he walked in, hands in his pockets, he was wearing his ranger attire. Trunks came up with the idea and had people in mind to show the archway. Seventeen didn't mind, long as they didn't brought harm to the island.
"The only difference is you got people familiar with it. Simple rules. Follow us and don't bring harm to the creatures."
They don't want to know what Seventeen would do if they did. The worst thing he could do was toss them off the island like rock skipping in the pond. Oh, and he doesn't do well with introductions. Seventeen glanced at the Doc first, then to Steve.
I figure no official order...
"Doc over there is a coworker from Torchwood. Scientist--a good one though, sworn-off-the time-travel. Steve is a newer arrival, and still settling in. I figured they both would like the adventure." Trunks offered by way of explanation to Seventeen.
Turning his attention to the other men, a finger reached up to brush a bang out of his face. "I have a...complicated relationship with an alternate version of Seventeen from my timeline. I prefer this version, and he's from the same time-line and Earth that my mother and Goku are from."
It's complicated--but that should be enough for now. It's not as if they can't answer questions as they go.
"Missing home, huh?" Yes, that might be a multi-faceted question there to his not-friend. Just what had the android given up, and was he okay?
sorry I'm late x.x
"I'm well-versed in following those rules. We have everything we need to begin?"
was waiting on others to tag or not x.x
Seventeen shifts his gaze away from the group when Trunks mentions a couple things, such as imagining him as a ranger and well, 'home' hit it big in there.
"It's normal." Still a little embarrass about it.
He tucks his hands in his pockets when the group is introduced. He thinks they're ready, long as they stay hydrated.
i think this time the apology is mine...
He wasn't Tony, after all.
"Lead the way and we'll follow. I think we're all ready to go, yes?"

It was interesting also how he had nothing but his sword, and 17 didn't seem to have any gear at all. Unlike Doc Brown or Steve... But such were the perks of Capsules and their convenience. "I'm looking forward to showing you guys some dinos if they're there."

"I'm looking forward to it too. The only dinosaurs I've ever seen is in a museum." He chuckled, looking over at Trunks. Steve still thought that having the pack was a good idea. It was better to have things and not need them then need things and not have them.
