Two Heads are Better Than One?
Kii tossed and turned in their bed. You know, they had tried SO HARD to sleep like a human. Embrace being a human and so forth, but god damn, it was so hard to sleep! Growling to themself they finally rose up, held their head and opened the window. Gazing to the city, having the breeze brush through, their tired red eyes looked upon everything. This was their life now, huh? A human life again. ...And soon that life was going to come to an end when they get rid of their heart. Kii moved their hand to their chest. At first they flinched realizing they didn’t have their binder bandages on, but they corrected it and moved their hand away. It’ll have to wait in the morning. Those things were hard to breathe in. Feeling tired again and ready to face the cheap ass bed of their room, they laid down, closed their eyes, and rested. But by the time they woke, Kii jolted up, outside, and feeling..weird? Then they looked over to see..???
“Good morning--it’s after midnight--Do you always sleep this poorly?” Arro pushed up his glasses with a smirk. While he should have been panicked, there was a lot of opportunity here to learn, so here he is learning, mostly about Kii’s sleeping habits until finally they were awake, but what a situation to suddenly find one’s self in. How convenient for it to happen during that split second he had shut his eyes to contemplate how lovely the moon looked and recalled someone he still misses dearly. “Also, if you could keep from screaming, I have sensitive hearing~”

The demon paled at once. Why were they there? Their eyes glanced to the body-their body??? They were together? Stuck together- “N-no. No,nononononnooooo..!! This isn’t hapening! Aurgh! DON’T TOUCH--Ack! No-!!” Immediately Kii gasped, trying to move the other way from Arro, growling, “This is THE WORST FUCKING DREAM! NO! AUUGH GET OFF! OW-owow--!! OW!” Huffing and puffing, they glared at Arroo again, and covered their chest immediately with their left..hand? NO! Righty!! “Don’t look! Don’t even feel or GET the wrong idea! Where the hell’s my knife, This is the STUPIDEST NIGHTMARE!” Kii hissed, looking around and continuing to struggle. But they were together. Stuck.
“Dear me, you’re shouting.” Arro pointed out, a small pout on his lip because he definitely can’t move away, though while he was listening to Kii’s rambling, he laughed, bringing the back of his right hand up to cover his mouth as he suppressed most of the chuckle. “You have little to fear; there’s not much for me to observe. Now, before you shout more, this isn’t a nightmare, at least not in any capacity I’ve been able to test…” Which made him move his hand to his chin which he began rubbing idly. “We could try splashing you with some cold water, see if that wakes you up, hm?” He knew emphatically that he was awake, but this was too entertaining to just let pass by.
“You bet I am and the fact YOU’RE not freaking out means this is a dream. So come on. Where the hell are we by the way?!? -And keep your hand to yourself, I am well aware that you humans are pigs!” Kii snarled, noting that they’re going to have their brace on allllllll night now. Screw breathing! They raised their leg to walk but found i hard. So the red-head looked to Arro, “You. What’s your name? You better move your leg too. Or. ELSE.”
