[After a good night's rest, Anastasia awoke to see everything... huge. She was tiny again, graced with bug antennae danging from her head and bluish-green butterfly wings. She was roughly 6 inches tall now and wearing a doll's dress as she fluttered around the cities of Nova, Genessia, Everglade -yes, that city- and Fayren. She was using the teleporters to get around faster and avoid any stray cats. She wasn't about to get pounced on this time.

Though, as she fluttered around, she would specifically choose to visit the Cloak & Dagger in Everglade and Fairy Haven in Fayren. She can be found anywhere in Genessia or Nova. She's quite tiny at 6 inches, so the best way to spot her is the Fairy-type Pokemon staying close to her, Ribombee, Sylveon and Primarina.]

[Anastasia's phone was being held by one of her Pokemon as the feed starts. She was sitting beside a lone flower, probably as a size comparison.]

So this makes the third year in a row that I was turned into a fairy... How is everyone else faring?

[While she's fluttering around, there's someone else in the air with her. A fairly large, solid white bat - an albino flying fox. A fruit bat, if she knows anything at all about bats, but she may be familiar with this one - she's seen it before, after all, however briefly. He seems to be inspecting buildings. Now why would a bat be interested in buildings in Nova City, of all places?]

[Anastasia is making an effort to stay above the crowds while she flutters about.

But during her aimless fluttering, she spots...a bat? Why is there a hat here? Furthermore, bats eat bugs. And she looks like a bug. Sort of. She will try to keep her distance...]

[This bat is, somehow, maintaining a hover. Something there aren't a whole lot of bats capable of doing - especially with wingbeats that slow. Something is definitely off about this bat. If she can spot its head at that distance, it seems to be... looking for something? Not finding it where it currently is hovering, it actually shakes its head - a very human gesture - and moves on, searching. It seems to be looking at apartment buildings.]

[That bat was still nearby. It seems unusually intelligent. Anastasia had stalled at this point and she was beginning to lose altitude, right up until a careless passerby mistakes her for an actual bug somehow and slaps her out of the way.

She let out a pained yelp as she fell to the ground. That unsuspecting citizen seems shocked at what happened too.]

[That gets his attention. Leaving off his search - whatever he was searching for - the bat wings its way down to street level, homing in on where that yelp came from. A glitter of golden dust in the wind - his sight as a bat is actually pretty good - shows him where, roughly, the swat happened. And the bewildered human standing there doesn't hurt, either. The person lets out a shriek of their own when the bat - a creature with a wingspan a good four feet wide - descends, finally landing on the ground not too far away from the fairy they just knocked out of the air.

The bat, now grounded, tilts its head, looking at Ana curiously. It chirps at her, managing to sound inquisitive. Whatever - whoever it is, it's intelligent.

It's also becoming the focus of a good amount of attention. There might be people approaching with weapons. This situation could quickly become dangerous.]

[That is a HUGE flipping bat. An adorable majestic cave puppy.

...Or woofer, given the size difference. Helly hole that is a big bat.]

...S-Soma?

[Itty bitty voice, coupled with her small size and the realization that she has no proper cover from the the intense sunlight now. The heat begins to sap her energy, and she begins to figuratively wilt. Best pour some water on her.]

[He's seen that reaction enough to know what it means. He nods at her question - yes, he is indeed Soma - and then moves to her side, to shelter her with one of his wings. A moment out of the sun should be enough to restore her, and then she can keep cool in flight, whether under her own power or on his back. Considering that she was just swatted pretty hard, probably the latter.

Unfortunately, they may not get the chance. Those street thugs with sticks are really getting too close now.

[Incoming threats? And Soma is trying to get her away? How is Anastasia going to escape with Soma without her Pokemon? She shook her head.]

I can't leave without my Pokemon...

[Despite her weakened state, she gets airborne again and signals for her Ribombee. With her directions, she and the Beefly Pokemon line up against the street thugs.]

Dazzling Gleam!

[They flutter their now shimmering wings, which then emit a blinding flash. If that blinds and stuns them long enough, Anastasia recalls her nearby Primarina to its ball, now as big as her head in its compact state, and flies to Soma, landing on his batty back.]

We can go now. Sylveon and Ribombee are evasive. They'll follow me home their own way.

[Using his wing to shield his eyes just barely saves Soma from being blinded as well. When he feels her slight weight on his back, he lets out a directed hypersonic chirp - directed at the punks, to further disorient them - and takes wing, slowly, to keep from dislodging his passenger. So slowly, in fact, that it can't be anything other than magic bearing him up. No way his wings are generating enough lift steadily enough for this.

Once they've reached a height where he can reasonably let the wind and his wings take over though, he goes over to true flight, and the ride gets a tiny bit less stable. His flightpath is predictable - he's seen where Ana and Satsuki live often enough to find it even at this altitude - and quite soon, he's landing in the yard outside their apartment building. He even holds a wing out to act as a ramp for her to descend.]

[Ryoma sighed a bit, and let the video look towards his fish tail]

I can only imagine. That's very unfortunate, and hopefully this curse will wear off then.

And you needn't worry. We will return to our true forms in time. As I said, this has happened before.

[Sirens are tricky business. She's encountered similar on her own world. But here, she doesn't know how they will effect her if she hears them sing. She can always mute the phone if she's fast enough.]

I'll see to it that I'm not swayed by a Siren's call. Perhaps I can find a way to counter it? Also, how may I address you, Sir?

It has been...trying, at first. My people are of a specific physiological conditioning, so staying healthy was difficult.

But I have made some wonderful friends, now I can't imagine being without them.

[She can faintly pick up the sadness. Or it's just thinking about her people that makes her ache.]

Not a day goes by that I don't think of them. It is my duty, my obligation. In...recent happenings, I am needed now more than ever.

But I know they are safe. I can rest easy with that much.

[The planetarium--that meshes with what he's sensing. Eyes closed to help him focus, head tilted--searching for her signature.]

[Eyes open, as he has her sense now. Good thing he was at Capsule Corps instead of in Torchwood. Capsule Corps was in Nova...]

[Her Sylveon will, however, wrap its feelers around Anastasia. "Safety" is its middle name.]

I've known a few cats though, including Ches--I wouldn't put it past them to try and pounce on you.

[It won't take him long at all to get to the Planetarium, and now he's heading for the cluster of pokemon. And hopefully Anya.]

[There was, indeed, a small collection of Fairy-Type pokemon. Sylveon, as always, is happy to see people, prancing around Trunks. Anastasia, herself, was resting on Primarina's head.]
