[As soon the video starts, you can see Rotom just panicking.]

THIS DOES NOT COMPUTE!!! I never remember Ash being a Ghost-type Pokemon!!! And why am I started seeing monsters and ghosts?!

[Anyone wants to calm this panicking Rotom Pokedex?]

[Ash is floating above Rotom, trying to calm the little dex down. It's not like this hasn't happened before!]

I-it's just something that happens here. Uhm, Professor Sycamore said last year he was a vampire.

A vampire?! Please tell me he turned into a real vampire, not just a Halloween costume?!

[Ash gives a slightly nervous grin, holding his hands up to try and calm Rotom down.]

[At least he got used to them after living in Everglade for a few months now.]

Speaking of which, what happened to the professor?

[Ash puts his hand to his head, spreading his fingers out a bit.]

Don't be silly, Rotom. Impossible request for a pokemon, but you know what I mean. Say, isn't the "mon" of that moniker short for roto-"monster"? "Start" seeing monsters? Why, when did you stop?

Anyway, sorry about Ash. I'm sure he lived a good life. I don't see how panicking's going to make yours or his better.

You do have brown fur, so Professor Sycamore doesn't count. And you were able to say "Roto" like me...

[Listening to the werewolf's advice, Rotom gathered all of what he knows about his habits until he remembered something.]

If your memory holds it to be so, yes. Pattern matching is very good circumstantial evidence. If you had to guess, that'd be the best way to do it.

But there's another piece that could prove it beyond all doubt. Do you know? May I tell if you don't?

[He seems excited with the game, tail wagging in the background.]

Well, I have some doubts since I can't recognize you other than you're like a Midnight form of Lycanroc, but there is no way I'm wrong at aught!

I got it! I also remembered that I got Ted's number after we talked to each other before we left! So I should be able to learn your name in my phone!

[Close enough! Ted would have suggested to look at the comm ID: a unique number assigned to every caller. No matter what they looked like, that ID would always be the same.]

Well, don't leave me in suspense! Who do I turn up as?

[He then looks up his phone to check on the werewolf's number. Only to see...]

Ted! And the numbers are the same from the one I got!

Ah! I've nothing to say against such irrefutable proof. You've got me. I'm finished.

[Dramatically he falls to the ground as one slain, tongue lolling out for a fair few seconds. Then the communicator's propped up.]

Though, to be frank for purposes of constructive criticism, this phone is a dead giveaway. It's security system is second-to-none; it suffers no impostors. So long as one's not anonymous, it would tell all. Well, that's detective work for you! Only one who keeps abreast of every truth he can can may find the ones he can't.

In any case, I knew my detective skills aren't so rusty as I thought!

Not exactly. But being away from my favorite show may take away my skills for a while now.

Ash told me about these strange transformations everyone is experiencing from the professor. I don't know if I get used to it, so I may get another panic attack when I see some incomprehensible...

Pffhaha, well, there are lots of books of the same genre. Once I've got mine back I'd be happy to lend them.

Strange reaction, given your species. Aren't Rotom capable of assuming all sorts of diverse forms? Washing machines, vacuums, refrigerators. Remember our talk of essence and accidents? It's no shock for you to do that. Very well; no inherent reason for others, eh?

That's true. But since I was in this Pokedex for so long, I feel uncomfortable with other appliances.

And... I saw some several Ghost-type Pokemon, but I never seen a real-life human ghost, especially with real vampires and monster who seen in TV and movies!
