[Action/Closed Log for Bounty hunting!]

[When Dante saw the bounty posted in the newspaper about some teens being stalked by a man with a hook for a hand, he couldn't just sit still. He spent most of the following week talking to the victims, and just gathering as much information as possible. Now, however, he was back at his shop with a map of Attleton spread across his desk with several lines and circles drawn. Now all that was left was to get his compatriots up to speed with his plan of action.]

Oh, this is gonna be fun.

[Needless to say, he's been having fun with this.]

[Masaru enters the room as he is normally prone to do: by kicking it in. Well, it's much less dramatic this time and he's just pushing it open with his foot, but...]

Hey boss. You wanted to see me?

Yeah, we're going hunting.

[He tosses a leather glove with what appear to be blades affixed to the fingers to Masaru.]

Gonna need that. Oh, and don't worry, the blades are plastic. I got them magicked up to look real over in Fayren.

Uh... huh.

[Masaru starts pulling on the glove.]

And why do I need magic fake knives on my hands?

Because we've got someone that fancies himself a slasher movie villain.

[Dante holds up a toy machete magicked to look real as well.]

Some asshole's been stalking a bunch of teenagers. I've spent the week getting statements and gathering info. They've got no clue who it is, but they've given me a decent look at where the guy usually hangs out. So, we're going to lead him into a trap and give him a taste of his own medicine.

[Masaru took a moment to react to that, before looking down at the glove and looking back up, frowning deeply.]

I hope by "taste of his own medicine" you don't mean killing him, because I just bring these bastards in, Dante.

[Dante gives a bit of a deadpan look before reaching over and bonking Masaru with the plastic machete.]

Wouldn't be doing this with plastic if we were going to do bodily harm. We're going to scare the shit out of this guy and let him have a taste of what he's been doing to these kids.

But... you said you changed it, and-

... Ugh. Nevermind. I can get on board with that. Let's take this bastard down!

It only looks different. Illusion magic is a heck of a thing.

[He beckons Masaru over to the map on his desk.]

One of the victims have agreed to act as bait. The perp usually pops up around here, and when he does, our 'bait' will lead him in to an alleyway over here. Once they do, you close off the way they came. Our accomplice will just head straight through the alleyway and I'll be cutting off the other exit, trapping our asshole between us.

[There's a grin on Dante's face as he points out where all the points are on the map. It's been a while since he's been able to get out like this.]

[Masaru looks over the map, scrutinizing it as best he can... or at least looking like he's trying to.]

... Normally I don't like using tricks like this, but you can't take chances with someone like this. What are we gonna do to keep the victim safe, though?
