Who: Newt, Albus and Tina
What: Searching for Newt
When: Early in the event
Where: Newt's suitcase

Waking up as the living dead wasn't something high on Newt's list. In fact, didn't take Scamander long to figure out what he was and afraid that he was a danger to his friends. After a bit; Albus and Tina might wonder where someone is - since it's unlike Newt to not be around them. If they search his suitcase; they'll find him hiding with Frank the Thunderbird and petting his Thunderbird and talking to Frank.

"What am I do Frank? I can't eat my friends or anyone else for that matter.." However, he is starting to have unusual cravings. That and the thought of eating human flesh real or synthetic is quite bothersome thought.

Albus has tried searching for Newt by magical means, all sorts of spells that can seek out a person who's lost. It would be one thing if he was freely moving about the suitcase or had left a message behind, but he had simply vanished, which was unlike him.

And, oddly, his spells were returning odd and contradictory messages: Newt was fine and alive, but also dead all at once. Which was not reassuring.

So Albus found himself wandering the inside of the suitcase, looking about and using magic to sense for movement, until he spotted familiar ginger hair.

"Newt?"

When Newt hears his name being called by Albus; goes to hide in Frank's habitat. However, Frank will out and silently point to Albus where Newt is; as someone is also concerned.

Thank you, Frank! Albus will nod his thanks to the bird as he moves in quietly towards where Newt is hiding -- even with Newt trying his best to remain hidden, Dumbledore's Legilimency helps him close in on the source of his thoughts, which still echo even while Newt remains hidden.

Eventually, he closes in on about a foot or two away from where Newt is.

"Newt, please come out. Or at least let me know where you've been all this time."
