Okay, so, everyone done turning into monsters? Guessing random crap tends to happen every month. Hopefully nobody turns into a turkey this week.

Anyway, before someone whines about another garden gnome or a bush that has an extra branch, figured I could ask a question:

What should be valued more? Strength, or friendship?

Odd question, but it might help me know what kind of people I am dealing with. You know, without constantly listening to the network. [Or spying on people.] Also, it's a trick question, so actually think before answering.

Without friends, strength is meaningless. Being the ruler of a wasteland is very lonely.

Then where will you get the strength to defend them? Without power, one can't protect others.

There are many ways to gain strength that do not involve sacrificing a friendship. Many of them can even forge new ones.

As for where I personally would get that strength... I already have more than I am comfortable with.

That's satisfactory. Answer I was looking for was both, since there's always someone stronger, yet you always need that reason to go on.

From what threats? Most aren't in any real danger. Especially not here. But even so, strength would merely be a means to preserve the end. And the ends are always superior to the means.

Friendship itself can be considered its own strength. Working together to protect one another and all else precious.

I, myself, have my magic, but I believe there are other means to overcome threats. Many friends, many minds, are better than one.

However, you're wording it like the two are separate from each other. As long as you're strong enough to help protect your friends, you're as strong as you need to be.
