That said. If what you like is celebrating, you two should take advantage of the festivities and make the gift an event. Do something cheesy like ice skating, or go out on a boat. Bet the Christmas lights look cool from the ocean. If you’ve been dating a lot then the presents will pile up too, so if it’s gotta be a physical gift than think small and expensive. It’s such a materialistic holiday and the only time you can buy expensive things without seeming like you want something in return.

O-oh! But for your apartment, you can do a lot with it. Most humans use them as a sort of shelter to sleep and eat in, protecting us from the elements and things like that, but you can also use it for hobbies you may have. Housing pets. It's just a little space that you can call your own.
