Good morning. I plan to do early Christmas shopping, so I would like some opinions.

What sort of gift would you all like to receive?

[Over the next few days to a week, Anastasia can be found at various gift stores in Nova, Genessia, Attleton, and Fayren.

Each time, she can be found already with something that she is careful with.
In Genessia or Nova, she is paying visits to jewelry stores, browsing unassumingly at rings and necklaces. Even at some precious gemstones. Considering the gifts she's looking, it appears she's looking for something for... A sweetheart?

In Fayren or Attleton, Anastasia is struggling with bag full of something clearly heavy.

She lost her grip on the bag and it makes a metalic bang when it hits the ground. What is she hauling metal for? Do you want to help her?]

[Homura can be spotted nearby, yelling at some fleeing people, a burn-mark in the shape of a hand right in the back of the coats. She sighs before hearing the noise,ready to get annoyed again--

Until she spots a familiar face. She blinks briefly before moving down to help.]

Sorry you had to see that. Too many idiots around here that wanna start trouble, and most of them are all talk.

[And no action, which infuriated her.]

[Anastasia was scurrying about to gather the metal ingots that fell from her bag when the other came to help, not yet looking up to see who it was.]

N-No, it's quite all right...

[Why didn't she bring her Nidoking to help her haul this stuff? She finally glances up when the last ingot is rounded up with Homura's help.]

O-oh! You're... Homura? The Shinobi?

[She smiled as Anastasia finally noticed.]

Correct! But uh...[She stared at the ingots.] Why do you have this stuff? Making stuff?

[With a tiny whine and a huff, she picks up her bag of metal ingots.]

Yes. Christmas is coming up and I'm trying to get gifts ready. But I, um... I overestimated myself and didn't think to bring my Nidoking...

[Anastasia gently puts it all back down.]

Is there any way you can help me?

Sure. Where do I take this to?

[And Homura lifts it with hardly a problem.]

I have a job in construction back home, so this is nothing to me.

[Wow, she really did lift that without trouble. Anastasia carefully strokes her hair sheepishly.]

Ah... It's going to Fayren. The ingots are going to be made into gifts for friends. We can use the teleport system so we don't have so far to walk...

Wait this place has teleporters? I always had to run to each city.

Yes. They're pretty new, so not many are around. There should be one near here that takes us to Fayren. We just need to find it again...

[As they resumed their walk, Homura couldn't help but ask:]

What exactly are you gonna make with all this stuff anyway?

[A short walk it was the teleporter before Anastasia stopped to answer.]

Gifts for some friends. One is a shield bearing a crest of knighthood from my kingdom.

The other... [With a slight blush and a dreamy look in her eyes.] ...Is for someone very special to me. So again, I really do appreciate your help, Homura. It means a lot.

[Homura was never good with romance, not after a certain incident. So teasing and gossiping wasn't something she even thought about doing.]

And no problem. Aside from watching this city, I don't have a lot going on. I can't even shop for my teammates since they ain't here.

[Anastasia takes a step into the teleporter and emerges inside of Fayren. She can see the smoke from the smithy's forge not too far away.]

Maybe so... But what about other friends? A roommate? Something in general? I plan to bake cookies for local school children when I get my orders filled here.

[She steps in, still listening to Alice. She does have a point.]

Well I mean Satou and Bulla are high on the list. Just dunno what to get them.

[~~Wrong blonde~~~ Anastasia takes a moment to think, this gives her enough time to make sure everything is where they should be. Teleporters still make her nervous sometimes.]

[He’s on the road walking from work to his place at the inn. It was then he noticed this child is on the street, clearly struggling, carrying something very heavy.

[Anastasia will see a man who wears a fashion typical that of a monk with a red shash around his neck, but he has long pink hair tied in a ponytail.]

[It's all Anastasia's fault for not thinking ahead. Had she think to bring one of her Pokémon, this nice man wouldn't have to bother.

She barely has hold of the bag full of metal ingots when she stops to respond.]

[Her fingers quickly lose strength and give way, letting the bag fall. She manages to jump back in time to avoid getting hit on the toes. She sighs in defeat.]

...Okay, maybe I do need assistance...

[He sense her hesitation. Of course, he's a mere stranger in these parts, though he start living here in a shy of a few months. Fayren bumpy roads maybe difficult to walk on.]

I teach at an elementary school and I had seen my students carry a lot of heavy books on their backs, so that's how I can tell.

It's a lot to take in. I came from a world called Earth, and yet...it's different. My world is governed by the will of the Gods.

In your library, I found many books written by scholars who thought of them as mere tales and myths. In my world where I'm from, these Gods are very real, but I didn't teach that part to the kids though. But perhaps you have read about them in school.

I serve the goddess of war and wisdom Athena as a part of her army. Unlike the other gods, she is the one who wanted to protect humanity and save them.

[Anastasia quietly listened with intrigue. The similarities are so uncanny that she wonders just where the similarities end.]

I'm afraid I know nothing of Earth's Gods. And you are willfully in this army of Athena? You are not forced to be a weapon of sorts?

I think there's a similarity in the other versions of my world too, that's why there are books in the library. It just that in mine, the Gods are real and they can control many things. Terrible things of a divine power. Like Poseidon, the sea god who controls the seven seas. Hades, the God of Death can resurrect the dead. Just to name a few.

[She'll be a quick learner when she listens.]

Athena strictly forbid her warriors to use weapons. So we are trained to use our Cosmos, which is our spiritual energy, which connects us to our fated star. I cannot say for my comrades on their behalf, but all of us are fated and predestined since birth. But yes I do serve her out of my own free will...but I cannot escape from the destiny that is written in my star.

My fated star is Aries. When I focus on my spirit and connect to my power and raise my energy to that star, I can use my cosmos in battle.

[She begins walking again towards the smithy. Just a few more,minutes it seems.]

[Lets not get into that heavy business. She shakes her head and dismisses it.]
