[First view people will be getting is of a sign with a picture of a cat eye on it. Why one might be thinking, but it soon become apparent as the device moves back to reveal the wording underneath the sign saying 'The Cat's Eye' It wasn't long until it turns around and Fai appear with his goofy grin across his face.]

Good morning everyone. As you can see my cafe is ready for a grand opening which will hopefully be today. I figured advertising it will be helpful here at least.

[Better than doing something else he figured, if it's easier it's better in his mind.]

Because it's a grand opening the first day is on the house, but... payment would be in the form of spreading the word for me. After today it can come in one of two ways, depending on which I find more useful at the time. If you are curious about what one method of payment is, please contact me in private so I can explain.

[He pauses for a moment, he figured that was all he needed to say right now. He figured anyway.]

I hope to see you all, or at least to the grand opening.

[Fai puts his hands behind his back as he turned and left the other workers to get on with it as he was heading to his office.]

Just working on days and times, that's all.

Oh, right, got it.

Uh...any particular way you work that out?

It's simple really. I let you choose which days and times you'd rather work. I think it's easier that way, don't you think?

Makes sense to me.

[Zelos paused for thought. It did sound as if Fai was giving him totally free reign over this - so not having to work everyday would be nice - but likewise, if he was going to take hunnies out on expensive dates, he probably had to work a decent number of hours.

What hours did normal people work, anyway? Back home, all his expenses were paid for by the Pope, and working for a living was something he never had to do. Still, he didn't want Fai to know he was a former noble.]

I mean, I'm pretty happy with Monday to Thursday or something? Um...what sort of hours do your staff normally work?

Kinda worked freelance back home so not...really sure?

[He was pretty glad to help explain things if one wasn't exactly use to it.]

I think it depends on the person. They would need to consider certain factors such as age. A normal person would usually work around 8 hours a day, but it can be as little as a few hours. Depends on if it';s full time or not.

[Zelos was rather glad that Fai didn't make a big deal out of it.]

Seems pretty fair to me. So...how does 8 until 4, Monday to Thursday sound? Figure you guys get pretty busy in the mornings.

...or do you need more people around the weekend or something?

Actually those will be good times.

[They're busy most days but he doesn't mind all that much. It means more red bills and that means people can get higher pay eventually. Works out for everyone.]

So Monday to Thursday 8 till 4. You'll also have a set amount of days that you can take off at any time. I have yet to decide how many days though and they won't count towards sick days.

[He'll stick to calling him that unless told otherwise.

They got sick days off though? That was reassuring. At least he had a get-out if it was particularly snowy one day.]

Boss-man kind of makes me sound old, just Fai will do.

[Considering he is rather old is another matter altogether, but thats a story for another time.]

That is correct and you'd still get paid up until the seventh for sick days because after that I would be kind of suspicious.

If you're sure. Didn't know if you'd expect something more fancy.

[The servants at the mansion called him 'Master Zelos' after all, but that was probably just a noble thing.]

I'm defiantly not one for anything fancy. A name is nice and simple enough.

[Plus while he was the boss, he'd rather just be seen as another worker who might on occasion slack off.]

Alright I should show you the papers that you'll need to sign. [He heads off as it isn't long before he's back with pen and a small stack of papers.]

Just sign on the line after you've looked through it.

Gotta agree with you there. Fancy stuff can get so dull, don't you think?

[Zelos waited patiently for Fai to return, skim-reading through the papers.]

Oh, do I have to wear anything in particular?

Just a smart shirt, tie and black trousers. Nothing too fancy, but waiters do need to have some thing smart at least. Bakers are a different thing, but that's another job for another person.

[It seemed more simple than those really fancy waiters in restaurants, but he knew they did need some kind of uniform.]

However you can put your own spin on it if you'd like. Make it your own. [Given him a moment.] Oh, also it might sound silly on my end buy you have to wear a name badge and you have a choice of either your actual name or a nickname I give you only for the cafe.

My own spin, huh? So does that mean you're not going to object to a touch of pale pink with those black trousers, then?

[Zelos chuckled a bit. It was anyone's guess whether he was joking or serious.]

Alright, I'll sort a name-badge out. You're not gonna come up with anything too mean are you?

I won't object at all. [Because it would still somewhat go at least, so it wasn't a bad thing.]

No, well some might say so since I've put a theme of animals here but if you like a certain animal and I think it suits you then obvious that would be the badge name. Or at least have the badge made in the shape of the animal.

[He has an idea for Zelos that he thinks would somewhat suit him.]

Awesome. Sounds good to me~

[Only Zelos could pull off shades of pink like that.

Animals, huh? Well at least it was better than 'Idiot Chosen'. Zelos was so, so glad he'd never have to hear that again.]

Makes sense...So, which one'd you think'd suit me best?

[He had a feeling Fai might've already come up with an idea, but in the meantime he started to think about what would suit.]

You really want to know what would suit you?

[He was surprised at the actual question but at the same time he could at least run it by him, but he knew it was only an idea.]

Something long the lines of peacock. There these birds who show off by showing their tail. Very fancy.

I gotta say I'm curious.

[He shrugged. Beyond not wanting anything connecting to dogs or puppies, he was open to suggestions - so he could at least hear Fai's thoughts out.]

Peacock, huh? Interesting...

[A little smile teased on Zelos' lips. He could certainly see how that would work.]

I've never actually seen a peacock in person, but that' what I heard about them. But I think it would be nice to have a shaped badge like one.

[His if one looks is shaped like a cat.]

Neither have I, buuuut sounds about right. I'll see what I can do.

[Yup, he did catch sight of that badge.]

So why cats, anyway? I'm noticing a theme going on here.

Why cat's, hm? Good question. Honestly it was originally a little nickname I made up in one world and eventually it seem to become a theme. So I brought it over from here.

[He was happy with his answer one of the few truths that he would have to say.]

Heh, well, it's as good a theme as any.

[The day when these two have an entirely honest conversation will be the day Hell freezes over.]

One world, huh? Does that mean you're one of the guys who got thrown into another world before turning up here?

[All of which he could still name rather easily. After all they were anything he would ever forget any time soon.]

[Zelos paused in surprise as the question got turned on him.]

Huh? Oh, well... back home there were two linked worlds. Only found out about one of them recently.

So until recently, you actually had little to no idea about the other worlds?

[He was a little surprised, then again he already knew that there maybe were some worlds that had no clue about the existence of other worlds. It was why they would always say they were travellers where ever they went.]
