[Welp, there sure are a lot of interesting rumors filtering through public conversation. It would be easy to let them run their course and watch everything spiral into chaos, but alas. He likes a whole one (1) of the affected candidates.]
Hm~! We've sure got a lot of exciting candidates for Guardian, or whatever it is, this season! Accepting bribes sounds pretty normal, and who isn't in debt with the shopping channel, so you two have my vote! And I for one think that a ruler in Everglade without powers would be pretty neat.
What about everyone else? You heard any interesting rumors lately? I'd love to know. Voting is super important and all~. Oh, and if any killjoy candidates want to deny the rumors... I guess that's fine too. Just make it fun.
Except the Santa Claus killer. That's just bad. No vote for you.

I'm also suspicious. Spreading rumors on all the candidates sounds like some anti-government thing to do.
I don't doubt your intentions, but how are you going to curb or stop sentiments like that from cropping up? I haven't seen any troublemakers from Fingers of Decay, but I doubt that will be the last of groups like that.

[but, the question is a serious one.]
It would likely require a multi tiered effort. Getting both sides to interact and come to an understanding is the ideal. Often, having something in common can cause even the worst of enemies to align themselves together. Such is the case of two countries back home.
I would like to start by giving the groups reasons to work together for a common goal. Perhaps a friendly sort of competition between the cities? If Fayren had to act together as a whole, it could be a great opportunity. A chance for them to see the strengths the other side brings to the table while they work together. We can always punish those that decide to act against others, but that will never heal the divide between the two.

You're exactly right. I've healed a lot of people out here, but mending divides isn't a thing that comes easy to anyone out here.

But it is something that is worth it, no matter how hard it will be.

In any case, I'll help you however I can. I've worked as Deputy for half a year, so I've learned quite a bit about Fayren.

Your knowledge would be quite helpful if I were to be voted in. [she pauses though, considering.] But why is it you chose not to run?

[ Konoka thought about it. ]
Up until now, I've felt that I've always been better at being specialized in my responsibilities. When it comes to healing, I know what to do? I'm not confident in my ability to manage loads of other things... at least, not without messing up a load of things.

[she considers for a moment.] But I would also encourage you to play to your strengths. If it is what you enjoy then there is no reason you shouldn't pursue your talents.

But until then, I'll stick to improving what I'm good at.

[with that though, she's going to give Konoka a small smile and end the conversation.]
