[Since Kyoya left Kaoru had mostly stuck to working alone in his office, only coming out to deal with meetings or to go home, rest and eat and on the occasion he got one a modelling or idol job which usually involved with senpai.
However recently Kaoru had noticed his teacher didn't turn up to the last job and after checking the device he understood why right away. He wasn't around anymore. Another person he would consider a friend gone. It was a hard blow and he was gone back to designing and trying to think of what his next step would be. So he had the device on and seeing if he could maybe figure out what to do.]
So... how does one handle when people close to them vanish? Like... I assume people leaving is normal so I am just curious as to what others do when people they care about vanish.
[He had stopped draw, putting the pencil down. He figured he should do something else maybe.]
I am also still considering what my next steps will be career-wise. I am still going to be a designer, obviously, but with Ai-senpai having vanished, I'm not sure if I want to keep continuing on as an idol in training. I don't think I would like anyone else as a teacher.
[He sighed slightly, closing his notebook.]
But ntil then if anyone wants an outfit for the holiday season, please let me know. It will help.

Accept is as a normal part of how things work here and move on. ...I read books, go shopping, then I read more books. Maybe you can try to find some company to get your thoughts somewhere else. [Like this network post might help him a lot with that eventually, too bad Blake is really bad with being social via this.]

[Going shopping might help a little bit though, would also be a fun thing.]
I guess I could see if a friend is free and do something with them. hough with what you are saying I have to wonder... How many books can you read?
Video
[She's hesitant to give advice. She didn't exactly handle losing Ada with total grace.]
I think... You should start by hanging out with the people who are still here, you know? You're not alone.
Video
[He never felt that alone until now. He knows there are people here, but when someone from ones world goes and then someone he considered a senpai... it didn't help coming up with ideas.]
Plus I guess the worry doesn't help.

And then... Hm. Well... You're in a crazy place with access to stuff from tons of different worlds. Have you thought about doing a fashion study while you're here? Or maybe work with new materials... When I'm not sure what to do, I just work. It eventually helps.

I guess I could do a study in Fayren or something. I have so far focused on Genessia and Nova City.
no subject
Oh, but. That does sound like fun! I'm sure Fayren has a lot of materials you aren't used to. Like different jewels, or scales, or magic that makes fabric look different? You could learn a lot.

Spend time with people I'm close to who are still around, or anyone willing to tolerate my company
Find a distraction or something to keep busy with
Try not to become sick from overwork
[ He has a lot of experience with losing people, and seeing people he cared about becoming self destructive from grief.]
no subject
[He at least knew he could get sick from overworking since all he has been doing work-wise is sketches and how can one get sick from doing that. A sore wrist is a possibility but sick? he didn't think that was likely.]
But the rest is good advice at least.

It shows they had a presence here.
I've been around since middle school. I know how it feels.

And you are in high school now or something?

It's never easy when one of your friends leaves.
I knew I spent time with my other friends when my friend Xion left. My Pokémon helped too; they made the apartment not feel so empty. Doing things to distract yourself a bit might help too; keeps you from focusing too much on how much you miss them.
Video
But people have brought up the friend thing as well, so that seems to be the best idea.
Re: Video
Spending time with friends is usually a good idea. Depending on the kind of friends you have, they'll either listen to you and potentially give good advice, do stuff with you or for you to distract you or make you feel better, or- occasionally- take you out drinking until you don't remember what world you're on, never mind what's bothering you.
Can't say I really recommend the last one though; tends to cause as many problems as it solves.
Video
Though I assume you knew that from experience or something.
