If anybody wants to go outside but can't fight these things off on their own, or just want to take extra precaution, I'd be happy to escort you wherever you want to go. I'm mostly in Genessia, but I can go anywhere I'm needed.

Roland can't just sit still in his apartment when people outside could be in danger, so he heads out to at least try to thin the numbers of the creatures. Soon enough, he finds someone being menaced by fair few snow beasts.]

Hey! Over here!

[He waves, the call being as much for the benefit of the would-be prey as it is to attract the snow monsters' attention. He runs between them and the creatures, then makes an odd motion with his hand -- pulling it against his chest in a fist, then extending it out toward them like a ruler on a balcony waving to the crowd below. The monsters are thrown back, as if by some invisible force. While they're still climbing back to their feet, Roland summons a fantastic-looking sword to his hand and gets into a combat stance, the sword guarding his face. He calls back:]

[As timid as she is, Myrrh can find boundless courage when people are in trouble. She made a promise to protect people and that's what she'll do, with Roland's help.

Snow monsters are much weaker than the Demon King's minions, but they are clearly dangerous in numbers. As evidenced by this moment.]

I'm fine, but...

[Sure, Roland managed to distract a few, but there was more descending upon them. Myrrh has made her decision. Her Dragonstone glows as her red eyes turned green.]

Roland, don't be afraid of what I'm about to do, okay?

[Roland is a bit startled by the change in her eyes, but he nods. He's been around magic long enough to not be scared of it.]

I'll keep them off you for however long it takes!

I'll be fine. Just watch out on your side.

[And at that moment, she is engulfed in a golden light, curling herself and wrapping her wings around herself. The wings quickly grew and expanded at an incredibly rate until they flung open, and the little girl who was there was replaced by a yellow dragon roughly the size of a school bus.

Dragon Myrrh took in a deep breath, then exhaled in a stream of fire, taking out the snow monsters on her side of the street, and melting the snow a good number of feet away.

No worries, she took care to avoid collateral damage. Now to wait for the steam to settle and see if more are coming...]

Roland can only stare in awe at her transformation and attack, finally shutting his mouth again when she's done. You'd think he'd be used to small cute things turning into dragons by now... but that's the first time he's seen this small cute thing turn into a dragon.

"Great job, Myrrh!" His gaze turns focused, however, as it jerks toward her back half.

"Watch your tail!" A snow monster was able to dodge her fire breath, and is up again and swinging at her flank.

[Moving into a defensive coil, Myrrh can see her flank better and narrowly caught the monster in time when Roland warned her. She swung around and forcefully stomped on the monster with her front claw.

She then backs up to check the monster she stomped, and check their surroundings. They still have some more coming. When she speaks, it comes as her usual voice if echoed through a cave.]

Roland, there are more coming your way.

Roland turns and gets back into a combat stance, raising his sword to guard his face once again.

"Got it!" And with that, he's running straight into the thick of battle once more.

[There's quite a few of them, but not so many that a human and a dragon can't handle. Plus, she learned a few tactical tricks when she was with Ephraim.

As the monsters approach, Myrrh took to the air to breath fire on the snowy road behind the advancing monsters, melting it and leaving the monsters no way to escape.]

It's all you now, Roland!

The leading monster lunges at Roland as they rush at each other, but he dodges out of the way -- and into the crowd of snow beasts. Not to worry, though, as a circular strike knocks them out of the way, and Roland starts to mop them up now that they're more spread out.

[That last group seems to be the last of them, which means Myrrh doesn't have to maintain a dragon form any longer. The Yellow dragon glows and shrinks back down to the familiar form of a child.

There issue still remains of properly containing them. They will reform of they don't catch them in those odd cages, and Myrrh isn't exactly a Major League pitcher.]

Do you have any more of those cage things, Roland?

Well, I still need to go to and from work, so I do need to go outside. If it okay to ask for your help still anyway?

Sure. Where do you want me to pick you up?

Garden Park Apartments as that is where I am currently.

I live there, too, so that's ideal, actually.

[Video --> Action? Roland shows up at Kaoru's door?]

Oh really. What a small world.

[Well it's smaller than the actual world and there was always a chance of that being a thing, at least more likely than back home. But he will take it.]

I'll be at the door. [Which really only takes him around a minute to get there.]

[He'll find Roland calmly waiting by the door; if he takes a while, he'll knock, otherwise he's just happy to stand there.]

Ready to go?

[Roland's dressed to go outside, but he doesn't look armed.]

Ready as I'll ever be. Got my bag at least.

[The only thing he really needed to take with him as it had everything he needed within. Once he was out the door he turned on his heels and locked the front doors.]

Let's get moving.

[Satou pauses her own efforts, briefly glancing over her shoulder to see who is addressing her. She certainly looks like she's in a jam, as she's allowing a number of snow monsters to gather close. Seeing them thrown back is certainly startling, and inspires her to switch tactics: She summons a pink magic staff, then changes it into a decorated scythe.

The pink blade hums and glows warmly, hopefully acting as a visual cue to the fact she isn't actually helpless.]

Yes, I'm okay. Sorry, I didn't mean to worry you. [A hailstorm of pink magic bullets rain down from the sky, pelting and melting the monsters. They're completely harmless to everything else.]

Are you doing rounds?

[Well, then. Roland lowers his sword and relaxes, though he doesn't dismiss his weapon just yet.]

Not really. I just thought I might come out and thin their numbers a little, and see if there was anyone who needed help.
