[It was only a matter of time before the various snow creatures roaming around finally pissed off Li enough to do something. So the network gets treated with the sight of one of the snow monster's exploding as a pair of back hooves from a black mare kick through them. The mare in question snorts as she twists around to take out another snow creature with another kick and then hoof the ground as she lowers her head.

The mare quickly takes off and moving a lot quicker than a horse should, she's plowing through a few more of the creatures before rearing up and bellowing as her front hooves kick the air, challenging anyone else to fight before they come slamming down and shaking the ground beneath them, making the snow jump slightly as she lashed her tail.

A tail that had frost on it and still looked very wet. The same with her mane. The feed from a phone cuts off moments later.

Several minutes later, Li appears back on screen though only from her shoulders up was seen. Her hair is black and she's looking similar to when she did as a siren, only no markings this time. And.. possibly nude in the snow. Possibly.]

So why the fuck are there snow creatures running around? Who pissed off who this time.

[Dove watches the feed curiously, wondering if it's Lily on the other end at first, but blinking in surprise when it's Li that shows her face instead.

What?]

...Nice hair job. Having fun out there?

Loads.

[Sarcasm? Probably.]

And it's not a dye job. It's my actual hair color.

Whoa, really? [She frowned, curious.]

Wait.

...are you- Hey, behind you!

[She'll be getting to her feet to head out, hoping Li's quick enough to dodge the next snow beastie running at her from behind.]

[The warning was all Lithium needed as her form shifted into the black horse that had been on the video feed before and charged at the other creature. She was more than ready to stomp the thing to death with an annoyed huff.]

[She's still watching the feed as her wings fade into view and her feet hit the pavement, and the second her mare form appears, the angel gives an almost triumphant laugh. Curse broken??

She's in the air a second later and dropping from it not terribly long after, once she's made it to Fayren and located her friend. Another snow monster bursts into flame, disappearing almost immediately into a nasty pile of slush as the fire returns to Dove.]

When did this happen!?

[With the aforementioned snow creature dead at her hooves and another set on fire by Dove, Li was shifting back to her human form, looking rather pleased with herself even if she was nude again.]

Beginning of the month. Gellert and Albus figured out a way to break the fucking curse.

[She grinned.]

Dove, I'm free again. There's no better feeling in the entire world.

[She blinks, though she really shouldn't be surprised at Li's nudity. She's happy enough for her friend not to even mention it, though it does deter her from attempting to tackle her in a hug.]

That's incredible! I'm so happy for you! [Li's emotions were absolutely infectious, even without her own excitement.] What all have you done so far?

[Don't mind the other snow monster building itself up behind the trees nearby.]

[Even if she had tackled Li for a hug. she wouldn't have cared.]

So far? Enjoyed being a Kelpie again. Lots of swimming and eating. I've got a ways to go before I'm a healthy weight again as a mare.

[Yeah, that monster won't stand a chance against them if it tried to attack.]

You're back in the water... [Its almost awe, even as her eyes sparkle in pure joy for her friend.] I'm sure you'll catch up in no time, especially now that you're back on your feet.

[She pauses, then grins.] I really do like the dark hair. It really suits you.

Yeah, I am. Every chance I get.

[She keeps grinning and there's really nothing that can stop her good mood right now.]

Hope so. If I want a foal any time in the next few years, I need to be healthy enough for it.

[She runs a hand through her hair briefly.]

It's the same color as my main and tail, just like it should be. Most Kelpie's hair reflect their natural colors.

[That...takes her by surprise a bit, but she doesn't speak on it. A foal, here? In Genessia?]

It's naturally that dark? [The thought is rudely interrupted by a sudden boulder sized ball of snow crashing down between the two women, followed quickly by the roar of another one of those beasties.]

[Well, she wants to try anyway. Where she restarts her herd doesn't seem to matter much to Li, just that she eventually gets around to doing so. She is a creature of simple needs after all. ]

What? My mane and tail? Dove, I'm a black horse so, yes.

[She was about to snark a little more before they were so rudely interrupted by a the boulder sized snowball from hell. Li huffed and jumped away to shift back into being a mare so she could help destroy the thing by stomping it to death.]

Uh.

[ She'd never seen a horse be that aggressive. Konoka pretty much gaped until Li showed her face. Oh, she remembered this person from the Halloween stuff, but... she was still a monsterperson? Also she's naked. In the cold. ]

Are you cold?

[ Truly intelligent reply. ]

[Of all the questions Li was expecting, that...wasn't one of them.]

Sort of, I guess. But, that doesn't answer my question. Why the hell are there snow monsters?

Oh! Uh yeah.

[ There's a little trickle of blood coming from Konoka's nose, and she took a tissue to wipe it down, not paying attention to the fact that it was blood. ]

Rumor has it this happened because Santa had a spat with his wife and got into some mischief or something.

Why are you bleeding?

[She didn't look hurt..]

Well, that's a stupid reason.

People fight for dumb reasons all the time. Other people usually have to pick up the slack.

[ Like what they were doing now with this monster hunt. But Konoka then recognizes the fact that she was bleeding. ]

Oh, air must be dry, my nose... [ She then realized that old idiom about nose bleeds happening to those they find attractive, and she went red for a moment. ] ...hates it.

Okay, fair enough. But hell, a little warning next time might be nice. I wasn't expecting to be attacked by snow creatures after my swim.

[Which may or may not explain why she's naked? ]

Huh.. I guess that makes sense. Have you been having nose bleeds a lot lately because of the dry air?

Well um... kind of?

[ She was doing alright until she noticed Li again. ]

Are you gonna be alright without clothes? I can find you something if you need it.

[ She held a separate tissue to her nose since it was trickling again. ]

[Li definitely not making the connection between her looks and the nose bleeds and that's probably for the best...]

I suppose so? I mean...I don't exactly have much in clothes to begin with and if it gets really bad I'll just take my other form.

Well cool. If you say so. Just give me a holler if you need healing or uh, change your mind okay?

[ Konoka looks cool as a cucumber now, but she will shut off the video before she embarrasses herself. ]

Uh.. yeah, sure.

[And just like that, Li's.. pretty confused. ]

In this place, who knows why. There might be no reason at all.

How are you feeling?

Still, warning would be nice. Being attacked after a swim isn't always a great way to start out the day.

[She grumbles a bit before relaxing and tucking a lock of hair behind her ear.]

More like me. Also hungry. I think I might be eating the fish in the lakes faster than they can spawn.

[She's not going to mention any other hunting she might be doing.]

I have to agree with that. Really, a friendly notice would be much more polite.

Good. I'm glad of that. Perhaps your appetite will settle a bit once you've been yourself for a bit longer.

[He won't ask about the hunting, because he can guess that he doesn't really want to know.]

Or I manage to gain some weight...either one's possible.

[Yeah, he really doesn't.]

I guess we'll just have to see since it hasn't been long.

That would not be a terrible outcome. It would help you to feel less ill going forward. But it is all still an adjustment, all the same.

[Now that she can eat properly again...]

But hey, at least this part won't last too long. I mean, now that I'm me again, I should be able to be back to how I used to be.

...More or less. Not sure if it's even possible to start a herd here or foal yet.

Perhaps it may. Or perhaps more like yourself may arrive here yet. This is a place of so many possibilities, it is hard to say.
