[Action A. Various Cities]
[aka, the post where Uai embarrasses himself.
When he heard that there was trouble, Uai decided to make use of himself. Also, it never hurts to show off. Except when you're a useless idiot, like Uai is. Then it can really hurt. You may spot him in the various cities with one of the gold and silver stones in hand, having approached one of the snow monsters. In a very flashy display of magic, Uai summons a sword and goes to slash at it with a magic attack-- and does literally no damage.
Then gets thrown back by a well aimed snow punch. And probably buried in snowballs, if he's really unlucky.
This process is likely to repeat itself, with Uai not understanding why his magic isn't working. And getting repeatedly pelted with snowballs. Help him. Watch him. Sell tickets to the show. It's all free game.]
[Action B . Fayren]
[After being thoroughly beaten many times over, Uai is sitting in a tree outside of Fayren with a thick textbook and bitty notebook Obsessively reading it, with an annoyed frown on his face. He's waiting for another snow monster to appear, so that he can take a shot at it and regain some of his broken pride.]
Am I really just weak? It has to be my theory. My formulas are just off somewhere. [He scribbles in his notebook, then looks up when he sees someone approaching. Excited at first, then frowning when he sees they aren't a snow monster.] ... I'm gonna guess that shooting you isn't an option?

A;
All though she wants to help, she can't lie to herself that this is one impressive train wreck... But still, a Princess can't just leave someone get beaten up by a snow creature.]
Umm... Do you need assistance?
no subject
He teleports to be just a few feet to Ana's left, then pats the snow from his cloak and suit.]
I'm fine. I've got this. [No, he doesn't.] I'm not getting beaten by Frosty over there. [Yes, he is.]
no subject
Oh, well, if you insist. I'll stay out of the way, then...
[Anastasia takes a few paces back, checking behind her for any monsters before turning her attention back to the
train wreckshow down.]no subject
[Someone who respects his bad choices! He can appreciate that.
Uai looks back at the snow monster. The score is now 3 to 0, and Uai is apparently incapable of learning his lesson.]
Hm... Is my magic not warm? Maybe if I adjust the heat in the formula... [He nods to himself.] Alright! Stand back! I don't have any control over where it'll throw me if I fail again.
no subject
Anastasia is going to back up juuuuust a little more. Just a little. Like maybe eight more paces or so. Who knows, maybe there isn't a monster creeping up behind her.]
no subject
Hey, look out! [His thoughts flash as quickly as the glowing blades, which harden into icicles as he shoots them to the monster behind her. This time, they actually do something. The snow monster actually reacts to being hit.
But he used ice this time, so.
Still sort of useless, and only serving to annoy the monster. But at least it's coming to charge at Uai instead.]
Oh, geez. My thoughts turned to ice. [That's how badly Ana had him worried. The fear even chilled his magic.
Don't forget the original monster you'd angered, Uai. Boy is going to end up surrounded.]
no subject
With her Tyrinolim, she pulled a flurry of magic sparkles which became a fireball, throwing it at the monster, causing a small blast of fire and steam. Heat bad. Fire bad. The heat from her own magic drained her stamina considerably, and that was just drawing from a saved spell. Who knows how weak she will be if she casts normally. She retreated to Uai's side in case the monster reformed.]
I'm sorry, but it looks like I'll need your protection for a little while...
no subject
Relying on Uai's protection? RIP Ana.At least he some will to fight. When it's only a question of Uai's personal safety, he doesn't have the heart to cause harm... but if it's someone else's safety, he cares significantly more.
He makes a long, sweeping gesture with his arm as he summons more icicles and flings them at the monster still behind them. Both are angry now, but he's trying to get them both angry at him. Not Anastasia.]
You sure you can't run? I think I've managed to piss them both off significantly.
A
Are you a glutton for punishment or something?
no subject
He pulls himself up again, brushing snow from his cape and scowling at Baldur. Not helping. Though, Uai wasn't going to accept help anyway.]
I'm a sore loser, that's what. You getting a good view of the show?
no subject
[However there was one behind him and Baldur was quick to summon what seemed to be a sword made of fire, swinging it behind him and slicing it in to, melting the rest.]
It's not that hard.
no subject
And he just cannot will himself to hurt them.]
... Yeah, well. Excuse me for not having super cool powers.
[He does have powers. They're just useless right now.]
no subject
[He felt a little smug if he was perfectly honest, glancing back as it was slowly forming. To Baldur they were nothing more than beneath him, so once again he went about slicing through a couple more.]
A
He doesn't notice the person being thrown his way.]
oof
[ He lets out a pained grunt at what feels like an electric shock. Thankfully, the contact is brief, not that he makes the connection. He turns to the source of the jolt.]
I'm sorry. Are you hurt?
no subject
He stands up quickly, despite the violent throw.]
No, I'm fine. [After checking the purple ribbon on his braid, Uai tosses it over his shoulder.] Sorry. Wish I had more control over where I was dropping in--
[There's an angry snow roar behind him, reminding Uai that he is still engaged in a scuffle. Oops.]
no subject
[ Sousuke looks over to where the roar comes from. He moves around Uai closer to engage it. Somehow, he ends up grappling a moving pile of snow. It's heavier than it appears. It reminds him of his match with 230kg Nochi-kun. There's no mawashi to grab, and simply pushing it back wouldn't do much.]
Cold.
no subject
Yeah, it's snow. [He himself hesitates. While he wants to help, he doesn't want to hurt Sousuke either. Or do anything that might be perceived as trying to hurt him.]
You really don't have to-- I brought this upon myself, so...
no subject
[ Running away would be shameful at this point. Since he has the attention of this monster, he doubts that it would let him leave.
He figures pushing it down, or finding something to shove it against would work best. He needs enough force to break it up.
He ties a neck throw. It resists.
It tries to grab him, but misses. He puts enough of a distance to do more strikes. They seem to be making some dents.]
Action B
Well, I don't want ta get shot so I'm gonna go with yeah; not an option.
[ He's trying to hide a rural Virginia accent but he's not doing very well. ]
