[so, it is her birthday once more. What's more, a birthday as she prefers it; by herself in the quiet. Yet, this year, she can't help but be a little more on edge. Or perhaps the quietness is quieter than it used to be... Or perhaps she is not as strong as she used to be.]
What do people do to amuse themselves in this place? There seems so much to do, it's nearly overwhelming, but I don't want to waste my time with trying a million different things.
[and, honestly, she doesn't expect anyone's recommendation to appeal to her. But, at least, she'll have a sort of company]

I would love to hear you sometime. [and it's only partly true, but the full truth is entirely too complicated for her to dwell on] Unfortunately I am no use at gardening. [and has even lesser interest. Oh it's worthwhile and notable, but she's never been one for digging in the dirt]

Oh, my Aunt Flora was a master in the garden, she could make anything grow no matter the time of year. She taught me all about what herbs and roots and plants I can use for food and medicine, what is safe and isn't safe to eat or touch as well.

You seem very attached to your familia What did your Tia Flora do? [an apothecary? Midwife? Perhaps just a housewife good around the garden]

We lived in the woods away from the rest of the kingdom; my Aunt Flora, Aunt Fauna, Aunt Merryweather, and myself. We had everything provided to us by the forest.

Is it hard being here by yourself?
no subject
Yes, and no. With just the four of us in the woods, I was raised to be able to survive all on my own... but I do miss them deeply. It's an ache in my heart, a longing I've never had before.

[though she shudders inwardly at the thought of a girl being taken from her parents, or any child. How horrible that must be for everyone. No one should have to lose their child]

We used to sit by the fireplace and read after all the chores were done or they'd ask me to sing while we all danced.

If you are ever lonely [she considers this] know that you don't have to be.
[for what company Imelda is at any rate]

A pleasure, Señora, truly. And thank you. I am Princess Aurora. I look forward to meeting you.

You are a writer? What do you write?
text;
I don't have a genre I write exclusively, but that's the part of figuring myself out while here by trying a bit of everything and seeing what I enjoy.

[though she's never been much of a reader and the thought is a bit boring but she's got too much time on her hands here]

Oh well. that is old news]
Gracias, for speaking to me.

You are welcome. Even if I didn't help sometimes talking is good.
