After sending a message to Erik to let him know where she would be, just in case he wanted to join her, she headed inside. She'd gone with her blonde hair exterior for most of the time here, still feeling uncomfortable about just walking around blue. She'd shown her true self in her workshops, but just being blue all the time would take more getting used to.
A part of her was so sure someone would come after her, even here.
Her eyes were drawn to the stage, watching 10 sing. At least someone was loving life, she thought to herself.

Which Ten gives seems to be enjoying that with the stranger and gives the stranger a hardy friendly pat on the shoulders.
That is before noticing Raven - brooding and scrolls on over and takes a seat next to her; and stares her directly in the eyes. Which his seem to be rather infinite and not human.
And quietly whispers; "What's wrong?"

There's something off about him.
"Bad day," she murmurs, shrugging her shoulders. With a wave of her hand, she motions to the bartender and orders two shots, offering one to the Doctor.
She tried to smile. "You were having fun up there."

Ten gives her a non-verbal, thank you.
"Was I? I haven't noticed." Is the rude but obviously joking remark.
Then a more serious; "What happened?"
no subject
Her shoulders lightly shrugged. "This place is hard to get used to. Haven't been here that long, but long enough to feel... I don't know, odd? It's not like home. People are way more relaxed. Casual about things." Like her having blue skin on a normal day when she isn't hiding it.
"Just trying to fit in."
no subject
Ten eyes over curiously; what is home -like, look. Oh. Oh. He gets it. You're strange somehow and you're hiding it because you're used to hiding it because you're a odd one among everyone else in some way.
"Well, what's the point of fitting in? Anyone can fit in but only you can be you. After all - in every other universe you exist in you are fitting in. Isn't it better to live in the one where you don't?" There's something of a twinkle in those eyes and warm smile,
"Besides here what is fitting in? Given how this is a nexus of the multiverse. Why not just be you?"

"What's your favorite part of The Lion King?"

She might just be wondering a little what the fuck. Or who the fuck. Because who the fuck besides this version of the Doctor is that obsessed with Lion King? Even 13 who loves it, and 12 who told Rose about the great Pixar war aren't going to go on stage and sing it to a crowd of people.
She hopes.
Thinks.
Maybe.
Most likely?
LOOK THE POINT IS... She's happy 10 has a friend.
And mystified.
And staring. So judging.

Ten looks over at Rose - with 'what' look

"The part where he runs away." Which probably sounds like a strange part, but that's what he relates to the most.

OTA
In fact while Ten is on stage singing Disney, she might be pretending she doesn't know him.
SURE SHE SANG DISNEY TO HIM ALL THE FREAKING TIME.
BUT THAT WAS VERY DIFFERENT, AND WHEN THEY WERE ALL ALONE!!!!! NOT IN PUBLIC!! Ahhhhhhhhhhh.
She's just going to drink pop and hope Mirajane will forgive her for drinking at a different bar. Maybe it doesn't count if she doesn't drink alcohol. Also, she's amused by the name. Jack's. But Captain Jack Harkness worked with Mirajane not here. Oops.

"Having fun?"

"Is he really singing The Lion King?" Obviously a rhetorical question. "I'd have thought I'd have more taste than that."
Does he even have money, even who knows.
no subject
"Yes," a laugh, still hiding herself partway to pretend she doesn't know the man on stage. "It's his favorite. He came right out of regeneration sickness quoting it to the Sycorax. Suppose I'll have to sing Toy Story's You've Got A Friend In Me with him after a few more rounds..." She doesn't sound like she's looking forward to it, but then again, if she really didn't want to be there, she wouldn't.

He's not even really guessing, because let's be honest that has a 50-50 chance of being true.
The Doctor hadn't come in here to drink but if she gets him something it would be rude to say no, wouldn't it.

OTA
She entered as nonchalantly as she could, hands in her pockets and seating herself at the bar and ordering a responsible tea as she settled in to keep watch. No sense in tempting him with the thing that was exacerbating his problems, if he saw her and decided to come over.
But then it didn't really take her very long to recognize that he was not, in fact, inebriated, just enjoying himself, the way he might have done before this place had crushed all of his happiness and left him out to dry. Her own posture visibly relaxed, the smile on her face widening and taking on a much more sincere expression, and before he was done singing, she was leaning her chin on her elbow against the bar and laughing to herself.
Of course, the concern abated, she couldn't stop her own sense of enjoyment at their environment from taking hold, and when the song began to come to an end, she stood and marched over, giving him a mischievous grin and holding out her hand for the microphone with the other on her hip.
"Not bad, Doctor, not bad. But gimme, I wanna show you how it's really done!"
Yes, of course it had to be a competition. If it weren't, then there would be something very wrong.

He's looking skeptically at the stage, and when he speaks his words don't have any slur to them. He is pronouncing them rather carefully, however. "Hakuna Matata, really? Not really what I'd've thought we'd go for."
