Roland moves one arm behind her legs, literally sweeping her off her feet -- but his other arm is there to catch her back as she falls; and her arms around his neck help, too. From there, he can easily pull her up into a bridal carry, readjusting his grip to make sure he won't drop her.

"All good?" The smile he gives as he looks down at her can only be described as fatherly. Holding her like this reminds him so much of when he carried his own son around, whether because he was tired or the two of them just felt like it.
