[Gellert exhales a long stream of smoke from a pipe, his mismatched eyes looking beyond the gloom surrounding him. A picture will be quite clear for anyone watching, built from smoke and magic, showing a much younger Albus clasping hands with him. Then the image starts to fade, drifting away like the aforementioned smoke - only to be replaced by Gellert stealing the Elder Wand from Gregorovitch. Except that latter vision is...strange. There is another voice that can be heard, oh so briefly, demanding something of him.

"Tell me, Grindelwald. Tell me where it is."]

I wonder who that could be? [He waves a hand and the images disappear.] The magic in this place heightens my visions. I have seen...so many things. I don't know what to make of half of them.

I thought I would share. [You know, for the Greater Good.]

I've been wondering where you disappeared to.

Like you can talk! Have you been swimming to far off lands?

[Li has the decency to look a little sheepish.]

A bit.. I've been exploring. I guess I should come back inland more often.

[Albus watches it all with a look that is both sad and fond...and then, at the end, confused.]

Feeling nostalgic, love?

That is where I dwell usually. [He grins and shakes his head. How can he blame her?] Are you building up your strength?

It's a puzzle. I am trying to fit the pieces together to see what comes next. [His brow furrows.] Did you hear that voice?

Well, I haven't been swimming for nothing.

[She smirks a bit and might be on the move to head outside. A few minutes later she's setting up her phone and stepping back to shift into her horse form and shaking out her mane. Her dark coat looks a lot healthier and she's still looking underfed but, definitely not as bad as she had been when he first broke the curse.

She prances about for a bit before shifting back again and smirking.]

See? I'm looking a lot better and getting stronger every day.

[Gellert can't help laughing out loud and beaming at her antics. She looks beautiful - then again, she always has in his eyes. The only ugliness in her life had been the curse and now it was long dead.]

It's great to see you looking so well, Li. Are you getting enough meals? I'm always happy to help with that.

What do you wish to know of what is to follow?

[He nods.] I did hear it. I don't recognize it, I'm afraid.

Everything. If I am going to receive these visions, I at least want to make use of them.

[His expression falls.]

Strange. I'm not sure who would demand something of me. He sounded desperate.

[Li just seemed pleased that he was thrilled by her antics as she settled down with her phone again. Li really didn't seem to mind that she was out in the snow right now.]

Yeah, I'm eating regularly again and it feels good to be full.

[It really really did and she had him to thank for it really.]

I almost forgot what it felt like. Now what have you been doing? I haven't seen you around the network lately.

[Like she's one to talk.]

[She is an adorable Kelpie - if such a term can apply to that species. Then again, his definition of adorable can be rather skewed.]

I imagine. [Starving is no joke, especially if it's bit by bit.]

I've been working on a ring and searching for Phoenixes. At this point, I would happily settle for a couple of eggs.

[Li raised an eyebrow slightly. Where she's not surprised about him looking for phoenixes, the ring part does surprise her a little.]

A ring? Why would you be working on a ring?

[And who was she to judge on what he found adorable.]

I asked Albus to marry me. [He is so casual about that statement - like the answer hadn't been blindingly apparent all along. Yet Gellert does look like he is holding onto a secret happiness.]

I want it to be perfect.

These are visions, like dreams?

They are true visions; I am a Seer.

I had a dream once that came to be truth.

Are those common for you?

No. I suppose you could call it a one time premonition of something that was foretold and meant to be.

But only the once.

I suppose I understand. Still, they mostly seem to show the past.

[He frowns a little bit, trying to think, wondering about that voice.]

Perhaps another Dark wizard, seeking an ally.

Was it an important event? It must have been for you to be an exception to the norm.

[It took her a few moments to realize what 'marry me' meant. It was a human thing after all. Once she realized it, she was grinning.]

See? I kept telling you two you were bonded pair. Now you're just making it official like other humans do.

How do you make a human bonding thing perfect?

I did have a few, very short visions of a prison cell, remember.

[Those weren't from the past.]

Poor thing. They must have left me in frustration.

[As shameless as he can be, her delight leaves him flushed.]

Humans are silly. Many think it should only be done between a man and a woman. He and I will make our own ceremony and recite our own vows. It isn't something that needs to be complicated.

Very important. The most important of my existence.

There is an ancient text that connects to my dream. I had a dream of the hunt. Of a great warrior with swords and the beast slain. I thought I was this warrior, not thinking of the ancient parable of dreamer and dreamt one. But when I ventured into the jungle to act on this dream - I found her.

Our connection was immediate and we fought side by side in the ongoing war, turning the tide of battle.

[He pauses; a small sad shake of his head as he went on.]

Until she was killed. I lost my soul that day. My heart was rended from my chest, never to recover fully from that loss. My entire future became grief from that day.

... But it started with that dream. She did not see the end of the war but she was the greatest warrior and her legacy and memory will remain.
