Party like it's 1999 [Action]

The flyers had gone up a couple of days ago, all over every city, and even posted on the network, advertising a party at a location through a subarchway in Nova City, a place just labeled LUX. Adding to the mystery is the fact that the party is hosted by a man named Lucifer Morningstar.

Following the instructions in the flyer leads to a subarchway to Los Angeles, which contains a building, the lower level of which is a nightclub. The entrance door leads to a platform overlooking the club's floor, which is reached by a set of stairs. The whole interior has an industrial look to it, including the well-stocked bar. Anyone who's uncertain about where they've found themselves can see a sign with the club's name by the bar.

The host himself flits around the room, mingling at the bar, moving from guest to guest, even sitting at the piano to play and sing. When he's not performing, there's music coming from the speakers, for anyone who might want to dance.

There's no cover charge, and not even a charge for drinks from the bar. This is just a social opportunity. Come on over and have some fun!

[ooc: There's also an elevator off of the entrance platform, with nothing marked on it that says where it goes. It leads to the penthouse. Let me know if your character sneaks up there.]

Was there an age limit to this party? Hopefully not. Bars had alcohol and it tended to be a place where you could get something illicit and a little bit harder than alcohol, and Sean needed a release.

So he would arrive and attempt to smile and just walk in. Sixteen was practically an adult anyway, they probably would check ID in a world he just got to, would they?

"Hey thanks."

Sean figured that walking in like he belonged would work and that seemed to be a good plan in the end. Score!

It wasn't like there was anyone around who would tell him otherwise, so he decided to go up and find a beer. He probably wouldn't get wasted, but more relaxed would be nice.

"I don't know why she'd care about what rules I follow, she's not my mother." Sean grumbled slightly but he nodded.

"I'll stay out of her way then."

"Shit, really?" Sean held up his hands a little bit. "Sorry, I've gotta go."

"Nah man, I don't do cops."

There was probably a story there, but it was true, Sean couldn't tolerate being caught out.
