NEWSPAPER - BIWEEKLY EDITION

[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]
[And if you're one of the following people, and you happen to subscribe to the newspaper, the Paperboy may or may not have flung the newspaper through that person's window, at the person, and/or broke something in the area: Lucifer Morningstar, Lea, Lotor, Anna, Aurora, Drac, Libra.
The following people have their newspaper placed neatly on their doorsteps: Peter Graham, Cad Bane, Koishi Komeiji, Mayu Nozaki, Shota Aizawa, Android 17, Katsuki Bakugou, Gale Reinhardt, Myrrh, Mavis Vermillion, Bulla Brief, Ted, Leo, Neito Monoma, Bulla Brief, Azura.
Shi Yamato and Rin Thosaka get a paper thrown at them.]

THIS BLONDE SON OF A CLOWN IS VANQUISHING SUPER SCARY GHOSTS, and basically, you're (redacted) stupid
It seems no matter what musical chair games law enforcement plays, crime in Everglade is as grizzly and dark as ever. That a man colorful, yet more terrifying still should be the one to resolve them seems either complimentary, or downright terrifying. Citizens were aghast when the clownish crusader cut down the ghosts of the victims' loved ones with hardly a trace of emotion or compassion. Yes, it was in the interests of self defense, but that didn't soothe the people he supposedly saved. While the culprit in question was successfully caught, that failed to ease the minds of the common citizen. While I'm deathly afraid of clowns, considering them nothing less than the scariest beings in the universe, I tracked the bounty hunter down and held his feet to the fire.
Luna Millennial (Luna): Citizens are concerned, Ted. May I call you Ted? Given your swift, albeit brutal methods, Everglade's wondering if the cure isn't as bad as the disease.
Theodore Satchel (Ted): You may. To what do you refer?
Luna: The "Ghosts of Yesterday" bounty you've just completed. I've interviewed some of the victims you've saved, and they certainly don't feel safe. One saw you impale the ghost of his grandmother with what looked to be an ethereal blade just as she was about to drag him to the grave.
Ted: That must be very trying.
Luna: Quite. Have you any answer for why you felt it necessary to dispatch such a dear relative?
(It's here he gave me a look, and I can hardly describe how often I've seen it, nor how much it infuriates me. It was a look that seems to ask: "Are you an idiot?")
Ted: Does imminent danger qualify? Well, if his grandmother was as nasty as all that, putting her away ought to be a great relief.
Luna: Let's be serious. You know as well as I the malevolence came from the necromancer.
Ted: Doesn't it always?
Luna: Look, just because every necromancer we've ever reported on, or that you've ever encountered, has been horrifically evil, doesn't mean they all are.
Ted: An unhappy coincidence, I'm sure.
Luna: So? Vindicate yourself.
Ted: All right. For one, you seem to think of a ghost as a person. That's a common misconception.
Luna: They aren't? I never knew that.
Ted: Well, you are a journalist, so you can't be expected to know much.
Luna: Care to explain what they are, then?
Ted: Not really; I wouldn't like to bore your readers. I assume most know.
Luna: For the few who don't, then.
Ted: If you insist. A ghost is an entity composed of psycho-physiological energy. They pale in comparison to a mundane consciousness. They're usually formed from the wills of especially obsessive or focused people. They are to the soul what a corpse with a million volts running through it are to an active body. Both are animated, but beyond that there's not much comparison. A necromancer can form one, I suppose, with certain sorcery and attitudes.
Luna: So it wasn't the departed themselves, but a kind of emanation modeled after them? One more simplistic and determined than the person?
Ted: Yes. That's why haunting ghosts are so limited and monomaniacal in their behavior.
Luna:So you killing one wasn't really killing at all, but merely disposing of "psycho-physiological energy"?
Ted: Correct. It's all in Gurdjieff.
Luna: I see. Any advice at home for any readers who happen upon a ghost themselves?
Ted: For those without my specialized equipment or expertise, I recommend either individual prayer, or else ringing up a priest to do their usual. There's a third option--though I don't recommend it--of taking or breathing in the ghost yourself and dissipating the energy that way. This, however, entails suffering a great electrical shock, which may be excessive.
Luna: And then what? The ghost is gone? What of the person it's based off of?
Ted: Therein lies the trouble of ghosts. So long as one exists, the original soul is burdened by it through a heavy link of responsibility. However, should you free such a soul, it will make its gratitude known to you through a very vivid dream.
Luna: Sounds like a happy ending. Have you, then? After all this?
Ted: Have I what?
Luna: Have you had good dreams?
Ted: That's private. Good night.
(Then a peculiar thing happened; it was as if the night itself swallowed him up, and he was gone. My fear of clowns remains.)

Don't abandon everything just because you didn't get exactly what you wanted.Quick Overview Don't go out of your way to compensate for the foolishness of others today. You're usually the type of person who tries to rescue people from their silly behaviour or step in to help repair the damage they have caused. This time, you might choose to leave them to dig their own hole and clean up their own mess. You're expending far too much energy solving the problems of others and not enough time on your own needs and tasks.Extended Overview You can't win every argument, nor should you. Don't let an egotistical desire to win consume you; it's bad for your working relationships and your frown lines.Career Overview | Your search for knowledge will open up new areas of interest and exploration.Quick Overview There are tough days, stressful days, ordinary days, challenging days and awful days. But they're not like that for the entire day. Only parts of the day are usually like this, and you have to remind yourself that the rest of the day can be different. Don't let one moment or experience define your day. Treat your day as a play with different acts, or a marathon with different types of terrain: smooth, uphill, downhill or rocky.Extended Overview Everyone has bad days. Don't judge them too harshly. Let them bounce back tomorrow.Career Overview | The help of a faithful friend will bolster your efforts.Quick Overview It's not always easy to travel along our chosen path, especially when it seems that every new step confronts us with a challenge or obstacle. But as you work through each challenge, and negotiate each obstacle, you become wiser and stronger. Consider how far you have come and how much you have grown. You'll be surprised at your own progress.Extended Overview Yes, sometimes we need to spend money to make money, but you need to ensure that the money you spend is a good investment.Career Overview | Don't lie to yourself. It will only cloud your judgement and complicate your life. Open your heart and mind to the truth.Quick Overview When you're down, the only thing to do is get up again and keep moving forward. The world is always moving forward; moving forward is life's natural momentum. It's perpetual. Change is a natural part of our lives. At this time, you need to remember that you're not actually standing still. Life is a river, and even though it sometimes feels as if we are not moving, the current is actually carrying us forward.Extended Overview Stay true to yourself and be ethical. Let unethical people dig their own graves; don't play their game. Rise above their petty squabbles and take the high road.Career Overview |

If you feel that you have been unfairly treated, demand justice.Quick Overview In life, we often want to hold onto something that keeps us steady and prevents us from making false steps. Just like the handrail on a stair case, we hold on and take cautious steps down the stairs. It's a similar situation for children who are learning to ride a bike with the support of training wheels. Eventually, they outgrow the need for those extra supports as they build up their confidence and skill. You are the same; you have been building up your confidence with the support of a safety net, and now you are beginning to wonder if you're ready to do it all on your own.Extended Overview Don't rush. Your thoughts and ideas are best communicated clearly, not quickly.Career Overview | Whether you like it or not, a judgement will be made. In the end, it will be fair for everyone.Quick Overview We're all different and we're all unique, but it seems that you've forgotten just how special you are. Your uniqueness is your special gift. Embrace it today and see how it blooms tomorrow.Extended Overview Mentors and advisers may have the best intentions, but they don't always understand your goals or what is best for you. Think critically about what they have suggested, but what works for them isn't always going to work for you.Career Overview | Meditation and reflection will provide you with some strong insights.Quick Overview We've all been there, and we can all sympathise with you. Compose yourself, take a deep breath, and walk away with your dignity intact.Extended Overview New employees want to get familiar with their job as quickly as possibility and take on appropriate projects and tasks. Don't leave them out in the cold for too long. They might be more ready than you think.Career Overview | Financial benefits will come from your sincere desire to help others.Quick Overview Offering support to others is a fast track to improving your own life. It boosts your own self-esteem, makes a difference in the lives of others, and creates networks and relationships that could benefit you in the future. Don't underestimate the power of your support.Extended Overview Push and pull factors will have a powerful influence on your routine, moving you quickly from one demanding task to the next. Take a moment every now and then to pause and gather your thoughts.Career Overview |

Now that your task is finished, you can enjoy the fruits of your labour.Quick Overview A few tears every now and then can help cleanse the spirit and relieve tension. When you're done, wipe them away and move forward. You may not have achieved one hundred percent success, but you have achieved one hundred percent growth. That is a wonderful achievement and it's worth celebrating.Extended Overview Distractions don't just steal your time, they steal your focus. If you can minimise distractions, you'll be more productive.Career Overview | This is a favourable time for marriage proposals and new relationships.Quick Overview This is a time for getting small things done and ticking them off your list. Some of these things have been hanging around in the back of your mind for a long time now, making you feel as if you can't move forward until you have completed them. It's time to get them off your mind and off of your to do list. Start today.Extended Overview Job hunting, and the rejections that you will receive along the way, can really knock your self-esteem and sap your enthusiasm. Don't despair; all of those rejections and efforts are building your psychological stamina and making you more savvy.Career Overview | Once you take charge and get everyone talking, you will find that the problem is not as bad as everyone predicted.Quick Overview Even though you may feel as if you're not making great progress, you have actually been nurturing the soil and getting things ready to plant seeds that will grow into something special in the near future.Extended Overview Feeling stressed? Take a proper lunch break away from your desk or office, leave work on time, stay fit, eat healthy, and do something for yourself outside of working hours.Career Overview | Your concerns are genuine. Try to resolve them as best as you can.Quick Overview This is one of those times when you can step aside and let everyone else deal with it. It's not your drama, you didn't create it. Let them have it all to themselves. You've got better things to do with your time and emotions. Don't allow yourself to be held captive by their demands and don't take sides if you can avoid it. Your time is better spent elsewhere doing more productive things.Extended Overview If you're surrounded by negative people who are not supportive, you'll soon find your energy and your patience drained. Find a more positive, nurturing crowd to hang out with.Career Overview |
