Winter, February 12th - 14th - Limniris Hotel
Who: Open!
What: Limniris Hotel's Opening Week
When: Starting at 5PM of the 12th to the midnight hours of the 14th
Where: Nova City
Warnings: None
[ OOC: This is an open post that doesn't require people interacting with Ayame. She would have made an announcement of the hotel's opening off-screen, so feel free to come up with your own threads within the hotel setting! She's also hiring, for those interested in a job in this setting can contact Ayame personally. ]
After months of planning and preparation, Ayame's second branch of business is finally open to welcome guests. Standing in contrast to the sleek and futuristic buildings of Nova City, Limniris Hotel's traditional Venetian aesthetic serves to make it stand out from the uniformity of Nova City's design. The hotel leaves a grand first impression with it's main gate designed after the famous Rialto Bridge, welcoming guests towards the hotel's grand and golden main lobby.
Ayame can be found almost everywhere on this first week, trying to serve as much of her guests as she could by playing server at the restaurants, room attendant, and even behind the bar of the coffee shop by the canal or the bar near the lobby. Anyone just walking around the various shops and spaces of the hotel would be likely to run into the owner herself. Made to look like a living, breathing town within it's small land area, Limniris has plenty of shops both part of the hotel and rented by Nova City's local artists and business owners...
Ambrosia Bar: Sitting by the lobby to welcome guests both just checking in or have already settled in their rooms for the day, the Ambrosia Bar provides a calming and classy atmosphere for resting, working, and a bit of leisurely drinking on the variety of alcoholic drinks available. Constant jazz and lounge music softly plays in the background. Since this is Nova City, Ambrosia serves "alcosynth" drinks as an option for those not wanting a hangover or nausea and less calories. For a limited time only, there is a cocktail being served named "Satsuki", which is a sake-based blue drink with edible gold strings swirling around the drink, and topped with a white ball of ice. It's a strong drink even to superhumans, and it even glows, guaranteed to kick people's asses just like the woman it was named after.
Bistro & Pizzeria: Two dining areas made to look like two different restaurants conjoined together. Serving both authentic Italian style to American style (including deep-dish and thin-crust pizza) and pasta, with even Japanese styled ones on the menu as an option. Pizzas can come in plate-sized ones, to very large ones with a single slice taking up an entire plate. Pasta can be taken to go on cup-like containers so guests can enjoy their pasta while strolling along the canal. The pizzeria has an extremely spicy pizza flavor called "Dante's Inferno", named after Ayame's friend and Attleton Guardian Dante Sparda. It's available as a challenge food, using some of the hottest peppers and sauces available that even superhumans might find it too hot to handle. The mascot for this dining area is a cartoon eel with a chef coat and hat. You can even say that's a moray eel. I'm sorry.
Gelato & Bakeshop: If sweets are more your speed, this place can provide. Serving gelato on waffle cones or eco-friendly cups. Various baked goods from breads, cookies, and even cakes are sold here, with some Japanese sweets also on the menu. Coffee and tea are sold here too, coming in traditional cups for dine-in, or bottled or served in eco-friendly to-go cups if preferred. Right next to the bakeshop is the sandwich shop with a small menu of different meats, cheeses, and condiments to be squeezed in between two slices of bread of the guests' choosing. But the default and preferred one is the house-made schiacciata and focaccia flatbreads for that delightful balance of crunch and softness.
Underwater Restaurant: Serving gourmet seafood, meat, and vegan dishes, this restaurant is for those who want a more private and classy dining experience with great views of the artificial river from the windows. This restaurant has limited seating and has to be reserved in advance, and only available for hotel guests.
Aquarium: The lowest floor is graced by the long aquarium that could be seen through the windows of the hallway, nicknamed the "Sonico Hall" after Ayame's friend who wanted to start an aquarium in Attleton. Both ends of the long hallway provide a better view of the aquarium, with the large chamber viewing window on the east, and a smaller and homier chamber on the west portion of the hall. Artificial ruins can be seen throughout the aquarium, along with an artificial riverbed to give the place a realistic look. The fish that can be seen swimming around are also synthetic despite their realistic appearance and behavior patterns.
Canal: Whether to take a leisurely gondola ride or walk along the banks of the canal for some shopping and sight-seeing. The east pool has an amphitheater with live musical performances at night for guests, visitors, and staff-members on break to enjoy. Clothing stores are available, almost patterned to Ayame's old clothing businesses in her previous awakening in Genessia, but are ran and managed by local Nova City fashionistas handpicked by Ayame herself. The souvenir shop is made to look like a traditional store, with the usual gift items of mugs and accessories together with apparel, snacks, and other gift shop items can be bought.

Ayame Sasaki - OTA
[ With this area being the hotel's main attraction, Ayame tries to spend as much time here, standing and communicating with guests with their questions and friendly greetings. Being Guardian it was easy for enough locals to recognize her despite being clad in a fancy black dress . She opted for a simple outfit not to distract people from the hotel's attractions, but still clean and bold enough to show off her position as the hotel owner. Should she see a new face, they are greeted with a warm expression and words of welcome ]
Hello, welcome to our hotel. Enjoying the experience?
Aquarium
[ The hallway of this floor is a mesmerizing blue against white marble. Combined with the soothing silence and indistinct chatter of guests in the distance, Ayame likes to take a stroll here to soothe her mind. She named this hall after Sonico, who was a dear friend she grew to see as a sister. Sonico wanted to have an aquarium business, but Genessia took her away before such a place came to fruition.
Ayame stands alone in front of the tall floor-to-ceiling window of the east end of the hallway. Hands on her back and her chin lifted to watch the swimming fish trapped in this artificial river, Ayame looked wistful until a presense behind her caught her attention. ]
Here to see the fish?
[ She asked, just in case the person is looking for something else ]
Bar
[ Anybody who knows Ayame, it's far more likely that she'll be sitting in front of the bar and just chugging drink after drink. But tonight, she happens to be behind the bar and acting as a bartender. She's been a frequent visitor to bars enough to learn enough of the trade, and anything she doesn't know, she'll leave to the actual bartenders behind the bar with her.
Drying a glass with a towel, Ayame welcomes her thirsty guest with her attentive stare ]
What can I get you?

Maiya Hisau - OTA
...Occasionally, you might catch her looking wistfully in the direction of the bakeshop. ]
no subject
He doesn't come to her immediately, though, making note of how she observes the bakeshop. )
Are you hungry, Maiya?
( Said as an offhanded observation, rather than an offer. )
no subject
But when he finally does approach her and ask that question, without meaning to, she glances toward the bakeshop again. ]
...No. I'll be fine.
[ She doesn't need anything. She just wants it. ]
no subject
You could stand to eat. ( She's allowed to have desires, he feels. ) I'll take you. It's fine.
( And, just like that, he's grasping Maiya's hand in his own, and walking her in the direction of the bakeshop. Whether or not she chooses to follow is up to her. )
no subject
[ Ayame approaches her security officer while out in the canal's crowded plaza, clad in a fitting black dress with some rose gold accessories, so she doesn't look too grim. She noticed that Maiya looks at the bakeshop, and the fact that Kiritsugu told her that Maiya likes sweets it wasn't hard to put two and two together ]
