The nightingale's her troubadour
Who: Princess Aurora and you
Where: Fayren forest
When: All day
What: Aurora is feeling a bit homesick and so she goes to make herself feel better which is to sing... Her singing has always had certain... effects.
Warnings: None I can think of?
After burning a loaf of bread and dropping and breaking a plate, Aurora knew that her restlessness and unease was going to be more of a hindrance today and had to be dealt with rather than pushed aside for the sake of getting things done. She knew, further still, that there was only one way to make herself feel better. So, with a sigh after cleaning up and throwing away the broken plate and tearing apart the burnt bread to give to some of her animal friends, she decided a walk through the forest was in order.
As soon as her bare feet were on the cool grass she already felt calmer. She gathered all of her feelings, whatever she could and couldn't understand, whatever she couldn't sort out and began to sing. Her voice reverberating throughout the forest as she sang one of her favorite songs.
She strolled through the trees, not knowing where she was going but not truly caring. She was unafraid of all the creatures that began to join her on her walk and was just enjoying the warm sun that had decided to peek through the leaves.
Aurora turned to see who all had come to join her but paused when she saw who all was around her.
"Oh, well, hello. Who might you be?"
((OOC: Aurora's singing is, canonly, magical and enchants and draws animals to her be they pets, mythical creatures/beings, or normal woodland animals. It can also enchant people if so desired!))

Hello...I'm...I'm Liora. I'm a dragon from Sornieth.

So...why are you out here? I don't see many humans out here...there might be some dangerous beasts...

What about yourself?

After he had disappeared? At that point she had no reason to avoid it. During the day she threw herself into her work at Amatsu, taking on much more than was necessary, all in the effort to keep her mind busy. Her nights were spent mostly sleepless and haunted by nightmares.
And then there were times like this--when she was literally forced out of the kitchens for working too much. The weather had not been the most permitting, but she had taken to walking anyway. The outdoor air calmed her--likely a holdover from that insane week she had spent as a dragonkind.
But this was new. She heard singing, and in a style nothing like what she was used to, and she couldn't help but follow it and was mildly shocked to see a young Western woman with light hair surrounded by animals. Wild animals.
For the time being she only stood and stared, because seriously, what was she supposed to say? 'Oh deer'?

"My apologies if so, I did not mean to bother anyone," she had only wanted the homesickness in her heart to ebb.

He hates it.
When he catches up with Aurora, he's pretty embarrassed. His human illusion is still in tact, but he's aware of how it might slip if he doesn't stay focused.]
Oh, you know. Just a regular forest dwelling passerby. [They've met before, so he gives her a really bad and awkwardly delivered joke(?) instead of his name.
The fact it wasn't funny is not lost on him.]
... Forget it. What are you doing out here?

Oh, I... was feeling homesick, singing has always made me feel better. I... did not mean to disturb you, in any case.

Shaking his head, Uai tries to continue. He's also trying to correct his poor behavior, but it's hard.]
You can sing if you want. I won't stop you. [He tries to shrug it off, physically as well with the gesture.]
I've never heard that song before, so I was curious.

His meditation sessions wasn't interrupted by her singing, so he remained quiet until she asks.]
Hello...? I am Mu.
[Opening his eyes as meditation has a tendency to put him in a trance-like state.]
Are you out taking for a walk? Seems like a nice day for that.
no subject
A pleasure, sir. Oh, ah, yes. I was feeling a bit homesick and singing always makes me feel better. Were you out for a walk yourself?
Action;
Over her little trek, she heard the melodious sound of singing that made her defy all her instincts and follow it until she was mere steps away from the source.
A human...?
And then the singing stopped. Myrrh realized how close the human was now and she began to timidly back away a few steps before making a brave effort to reply.]
Umm... My name's Myrrh...
Action
Hello, Myrrh, it's very nice to meet you. [She seemed so young.] Are you enjoying a walk in the forest as well?
It's alright, please don't be scared, I'm someone you need never be scared of.
Re: Action
Myrrh hesitates on answering, but she warms up enough eventually.]
I am... I'm going to visit a memorial. ...Do you come here a lot?
no subject
[She did see the wings, but she is not afraid. She has no reason to be, at least not yet.]
Well, I admit that this is my first time coming to this part of the woods. But I have been here before.

With her basket firmly in her grasp, she went to follow the sound, soon coming across the person who was singing. "Your voice is very beautiful." She said standing there.

"Fayren is the best place to find things. Everglade is probably the second best."
no subject
"I have not been to Everglade, yet. There are so many things to see in one part alone that it seems easy to forget about the other aspects of this giant kingdom."

The first thing the young blonde did was happily sit by some beautiful flowers, reaching out to gently touch them, tracing the outline of the shape, keeping a mental note for later.
As soon as she moved to sit back she had managed to get her sketchbook out and paints from her bag before she started to draw the sight before her. Midstroke she paused, she was sure that she heard something, singing perhaps?
Turning her head she was trying to figure where it was coming from, all the while listening to each and every word, a small smile passing by her lips. She wondered who the person was and her answer was soon going to be answered when she saw them.
"Ah, hello. Sorry if I interrupted something. I figured I would get a bit of sketching and painting done. After all, there are such wonderful sights in Fayren. Even in some of the creatures here aren't nice. But that is because I have yet to figure them out."
no subject
"No, no not interrupting at all. I was just feeling a bit homesick. I like to sing to feel better, though I admit to singing even when I'm happy too. I sing no matter how I feel, honestly."
no subject
"It's because singing is a great thing to do. I admittedly, don't do it as often myself, but from time to time I do. Though is it helping with your homesickness?"
