[Video]

[Can anyone blame Li for taking advantage of the warm weather in Fayren right now? She's in an exceptionally good mood lately as her device falls into the sands on the beach from her pocket. There the motion of feet in the sand before the video settles to show a certain Kelpie.. dancing. Her voice can be heard singing a rather fast paced song in Galic as she moves about with a fair amount of grace with various twirls and leaps.

Eventually the song ends with her flushed and grinning as she laughs and falls back into the soft sands for a few moments. When she finally gets up, she's brushing off the loose grains clinging to her skin and shaking it out of her long dark hair just as the video feed cuts off.]

[It would appear as though she's not the only one taking advantage of the break in the chilly months.

He's high enough overhead not to immediately realize just who is singing and dancing at first, but close enough to see the joy in her movements and hear the happy lilt of her song. For a few moments, he only circles, gradually getting closer and enjoying the carefree spirit of it all, until he realizes it's a familiar woman.

With a grin (or what would be a grin, were he not sporting a beak) he swoops down, keeping careful distance of her movements as he circles her, the air shuddering with a gentle chill. A moment later, he becomes that shimmering dark mist then steps gracefully into the sand behind her in human form, reaching out to take one of her hands and step into the dance with her, if she'll allow it.

She seems playful enough, from what he had gathered from their first meeting. It's worth a shot, at least, to join in on something so lighthearted.]

[Lithium starts for a moment, nearly missing the next step in her dance when she felt someone move in behind her. And yet, she didn't stop as a smile played across her lips and continued on, leading him in the lighthearted dance as she kept singing.

After a few minutes the song ended and Li was breathless as she turned to grin at her companion.]

So you can run, you can swim and you can dance. What else is there you can do.

[He laughs, following her lead as...best he can, despite his lack of actual skill.]

Ah, well... I can't draw very well... [he shrugs, face twisted in mock shame for just a moment before he nearly missteps.] ...nor do I actually know how to dance.

[She snorted faintly before grabbing his hands.]

Well, to be fair, I don't know how to do ball dancing. Albus had to teach me last time there was a dance.

[Of course, that didn't dash away that mischievous grin on her features.]

However, dancing like this? It's different you move with the rhythm of the song. So the question is, can you just work with the song and move with it?

[He blinked in surprise but allowed her to take his hands and continue guiding him.]

Ah...heh... Albus your boyfriend? [he asked, watching their feet carefully. ]

And yeah, I guess so? We used to have festivals back home...

Not even close. Albus is Gellert's mate. They're both friends of mine and broke my curse a few months ago.

[She's already moving, taking him into gentle guided steps.]

So did we sometimes. Well.. sort of. We were a herd first. But, when we could we crashed festivals that the humans had, we did.

[Mate. A shadow crossed his face, but only for a flicker of a moment before he shook it off.] Your wizards, then, [h nodded, recalling their first meeting. He still needed to seek them out, see if they could help with his own issues.]

Mingling with humans? [Amusement rugged at the corner of his lips, even as he missed a step.] Wolves in the midst of sheep?

[A contemplative question, even if masked under a guise of humor.]

[She didn't seem to notice his reaction to the word mate just yet.]

Yeah, them.

[She grins a little and adjusts as he misses a step.]

Pretty much. We'd have a good time, mingle.. and use it as an excuse to hunt by taking note of who we could take without it being noticed.

[He might be attempting humor but.. that goes a little over Li's head. She's still.. new to the whole understanding human's thing.]

[His brows raise, but she gets a peek of his own wolfish grin.] Yikes. Remind me not to invite you to any parties...

[She just laughs.]

Or, invite me to all the parties if there's people you don't like attending. I can make them disappear and get a meal out of the deal.

Ha! Lovely and practical. [An effective combination.]

I'm afraid I haven't met anyone in this place I dislike that severely, [he laughed.] You'll have to stick to more traditional fare for now.... though I'm sure someone will cross me one of these days.

[She smirked. Of course she was practical as well as lovely. As far as Lithium was concerned, she was a good combination of the two now that she wasn't perpetually pissed off.]

Shame. I was hoping for a good meal.

[She laughed as she lead him into another little dance.]

Though, if no one crosses you enough to send them my way, I am partial to barbecue pulled pork.

[He only shook his head, following her lead yet again.]

Barbecue pulled pork? [he asked, cocking his head a little as they moved. Pork was good. ]

[Wait, did he not know what barbecue was? She pauses slightly to look at him.]

...It's delicious. We're going out to eat for some when we're done dancing.

[Don't argue, she's made up her mind. Barbecue... might be one of her favorite things which he's going to very quickly learn.]

[He raises a brow at her forwardness, but there's pleased laughter in his tone.]

Oh, are we now?

Yes we are. I dare you to deny me.

[She smirking. Just try it. She'll drag him if she has to.]

Ah, now... [he grins, lifting her hand in his to guide her in a spin.] I could never deny such a charming woman.

Good, then you have enough sense not to piss me off.

[She moves into the spin and gracefully comes out of it to lean her back against him.]

That puts you out of the food category and somewhere in the friends or other categories.

[He laughed in surprised, sweeping her close-but not too close, just in case.]

That might be the nicest thing you've ever said to me.

[She smirks as he sweeps her closer.]

Yeah well, don't get used to it. I'm not a nice mare.

Had me fooled.

[Yeah, the mirroring smirk on his face says he believes her in full, though despite it, he's really enjoying her company.]

Sounds like yer in a good mood. What's the occasion?

Good weather, fair seas.. why not dance?

[Li grins as she finally picks up her phone and really doesn't seem to be bothered by the looks of the person on the other end.]

Also good hunting lately.

Damn. Why not indeed?

[As for her hunting preferences, well...]

Usually? Humans. But, lately it's been fish.

[She smirks a little.]

A few months a go, a friend of mine broke my curse. I've been trying to get myself back to normal since.

[She glares at him for a moment the huffs.]

One that bound me in my human form and was trying to drive me fucking insane. It was a God Damned Nightmare.

Didn't say it weren't. I'd go batty too if I got stuck human all the damn time.

So y' change forms when y' get in the water? Or's it somethin' else triggers it?

[She nods and relaxes a little.]

Yeah. I'm human, a black mare and well.. something else in the water. I can change at will or just let the water trigger my third form.

Ain't tried t' eatcha when yer in the water, have I? If I did it weren't personal.

Doubt it unless you're trying to eat something that's half horse, half fish in the water.

[She stares at him and slowly arches an eyebrow.]

I'm a little unforgettable in the water. You'd be sporting a broken back if you attacked me or at least some very nasty hoof marks or bites.

Mean, shit happens sometimes...

[He shrugs.]

Anyway tell me 'bout that song. Has a real nice rhythm t' it.

[Li thought back to the song she was singing and smiled faintly.]

Well, it's a song from my homeland. It's Celtic and it's kind of a love song.

Kinda a love song? What's the words?

[She frowns for a moment or two before attempting to translate as best she can..]

[She humms a little.]

A lot of it can't be translated easily to English, but.. it's talking about how far someone would go to be with the one they love.
