The Hunter's Moon (closed to Rip)
[A smile curls onto his lips once he senses Rip near. He knew she would come after leaving a special invitation at her door. While he always preached against this sort of practice, Augustine would be lying if he didn't admit to being a hypocrite at times.
As much as he enjoys his newfound glory in life and upon the stage, the dhampir still has beastly desires that can only be satisfied in blood. He wants nothing else other than to carve his fangs into the tender flesh of some pretty young thing, preferably some beautiful woman but beggars cannot be choosers. To say the least, Augustine has grown bored of this mundane life he leads and yearns what all vampires eventually come to yearn; excitement. Life is eternal for him and his kind, a boring cesspool of nothingness with hints of joy sprinkled within. While he's honestly grateful to be living his dream, Augustine can't help but want to appease the beast within.
Therefore, he cooks up this elaborate ruse to lure his beloved into Everglade for a fun-filled evening. It's just a shame that the poor residents of this ghastly town are in jeopardy with these two vampires prowling about. In all truth, it might be best for the locals to stay indoors.]
Eyes in the Dark (OTA)
[Ever get that creepy feeling of being watched by someone or something? Well, now might be the time to glance over your shoulder since something is indeed stalking you from within the shadows. As for what is stalking you, that's to be determined. If there's one thing that Augustine excels with, it's his uncanny ability to remain virtually invisible for short amounts of time.
He uses the shadows to cloak his presence, a task better suited for the evening than during the day. However, anyone possessing even an inkling of magic might be able to detect him. After all, the dhampir can't exactly mask his blood lust very well after months of fasting. Every so often, his footsteps could be heard behind his potential victims before suddenly silencing again. Unlike Rip, he's not used to stalking his potential victims, a flaw that will eventually lead to his downfall.
However, he's certainly trying his best to find the best opportunity to attack.]
When the Hunter Becomes the Hunted (OTA)
[This entire scenario was a fool's errand at best. Augustine knew it but still went along with it. While it's within his legal right to hunt after dark, not everyone here within Everglade is some helpless sap. That's something the dhampir learns the hard way after being run through by some fool brandishing steel.
Still clinging to life after that bloody encounter, Augustine eventually succumbs to his injuries. He unwillingly picked the perfect backdrop for what might be his untimely death. A graveyard, an abandoned one that has more overgrown bushes than tombs here. He manages to lose his pursuer long enough to take refugee under an overgrowth of vines curled around an old statue of some nameless angel. He rests momentarily after ensuring that his assailant isn't anywhere near. It takes him far too long to shrug off his signature red coat thanks to his wounds.]
They've ruined a perfectly good suit...
[He mutters to himself as he tries in vain to stop the bleeding. The wound hasn't healed yet. It must've been a blessed blade.]
What a fine mess to get yourself in. [The dhampir mutters as he rests his head against the foot of the statue.] Should've just ignored the craving.
['As you always done.']
