[Lissa gasped. How could this be possible. Rose looked older, yes, but two whole years?]

I don't...two years? And what do you mean, wonderland?

You know... Alice in Wonderland.... Wasn't as cheery as you'd expect it to be.

But that's just a story! This doesn't make any sense.

Is this spirit - am I dreaming all this?

That's what I thought at first too. I spent too much time there to say that it was a dream. It was pretty messed up. Luckily I didn't seem to lose my memories like the others there.

One of my best friends back at Wonderland is here, actually, but he doesn't have any memory of me or ever being there. That's not exactly surprising considering that the friends that I had would occasionally leave and come back with no memories of the place or meeting me.

It actually got to be normal....

[Fucking Wonderland. And she still remembers Sirius, unfortunately.]

I just don't...

[She sighs and rubs her temple.]

What do we do now?

[As always, she looks to Rose for guidance on that.]

Now... as much as I hate to say it.... we do nothing. I've been trying to figure out ways to get out for a while, but there seems to be no patterns to the events here and when they happen. Back at Wonderland, I had events and other things pretty much figured out and I had theories, but I still have no idea about this place....

[It's not hard to tell how pissed Rose is about that, even if it was someone else but Lissa who saw her like this.]

This place doesn't have Strigoi here, which is good, but there are plenty of other reasons not to let your guard down.

What other reasons?

[Lissa was most worries about Strigoi, but what other threats were there?]

Well, a while back there was some guy who caused a lot of trouble. He seems to have drawn back for now, but we don't know when he'll act again. There's also the chance that other weird things can happen, though it's not as often as it was back at Wonderland.

Wonderland had something happen about every two weeks that lasted for a few days. They weren't all "bad", but there was a lot of different stuff that happened. I haven't seen as many things happen here, but you never know when something will happen.

Whatever the case, just.... take my advice on this next thing: When you see something that shouldn't be possible or is beyond weird, don't question it. I learned that the hard way. Once I stopped trying to make sense of everything that happened, it made my brain stop hurting as much.

[Lissa still didn't understand any of this, but she nodded. She trusted Rose, and if that was what Rose recommended, that was what she would do. Or try to, anyway. Then another worry came to her.]

Rose...if we're going to be stuck here so long...I'm going to have I feed.

[Rose was silent for a moment. They could always do what they did when they ran away the first time... but with how many other vampires that were around, there had to be a better way.]

Lucky for you, there seems to be quite a few vampires around. I'm sure there's something we could figure out. If nothing else, we could always do what we used to do.

Actually... That guy I was talking about who didn't remember me or Wonderland... He's actually the Vampire King from his world. And there's a girl he used to talk about all the time back at Wonderland... She's here too and we're.... very similar in many ways.

[As she's talking, she's leading her towards where she lived.]

[Lissa frowned at the mention of a vampire king. She hoped this didn't mean there was a court here. She'd never really liked it back home.]

Does he hold Court? Are there feeders?

No. Not that I know of. He has different views of leadership than we do. Besides, that was back in his world.

There are no feeders, but I'm sure that judging by the different vampires here, there has to be something. I think there's one working on some blood tablets. I know it's not the normal way back home, but it might have to do here.

Whatever works. I don't want to be any trouble.

That's why it goes without saying that you'll be staying with me.

I'm mad that you were dragged here, but It's nice to finally see somebody I know.

[But on more pleasant news.]

I'm 21 now and missed a few birthdays with you. Which means I can drink legally. We're going to have to celebrate that, even if it's late.

I am so mad I missed all those birthdays! We'll have to celebrate every single one of them. And I absolutely need a drink right now, before I dissolve into a hysterical mess.

I'm so happy you're here, Rose. I don't know what I'd do without you.

You know... I'd normally be against you drinking [If Adrian is somehow involved], but celebration calls for drinking and god knows I need one lately.

[And not too much further they'll arrive to her her apartment.]
