I've not tried it personally. But the strongest in my world was strong enough it could kill a person with a weak stomach.

But that was extremely rare. Takes one drunk quicker though. Usually about one glass or two regardless of who they were. Always fun to watch what happened after.

Numb enough I stop contemplating the fagile impermanence of relationships, but not so drunk I can't think clearly enough to make sober decisions and let my instincts overrule my caution. And light enough on the wallet that I don't have to cut back on anything. [Especially cigars.]

Hence why I'm leaning towards familiarity. Not for nostalgia, but I already know how it effects me, so no experimentation or guesswork.
