How many soldiers would you say we have between the cities? How many are from other worlds and how many are native? Should the cities be attacked, are there plans to raise the defenses?

I haven't seen many walls or weapons for that matter.

(She should probably explain her line of thinking.)

I come from a world that is unsettled and violent. If this world is able to bring my brother and myself here, I worry others might arrive too. Others that have no desire for peace.

We have many warriors from the different worlds, as well as soldiers that are native to this world. This is exactly why we have an elected Guardian in each city, to plan for these events and protect the citizens.

And believe me, we have seen plenty of people with no desire for peace.

Do the Guardians stay in contact with one another? I assume they do. (It's hard not taking the helm.) I will warn you as best as I am able.

I believe they do, especially when there's trouble happening. These devices make communication much easier. We don't have anything like these where I come from.

And if this communication is compromised or destroyed? (She is thinking specifically of foul magic taking hold.)

Then we'll simply have to go back to our old ways. Some can carry messages swiftly either by flight, or there are some who use magic to teleport from one place to another.

What weapons do the soldiers wield? (Since there are other ways to carry messages.) I am accustomed to swords, bows and arrows.

At least in Fayren, the soldiers commonly use swords, spears, axes, bows and arrows. There are also many magic users there, and in Everglade as well. Although I believe the police forces in the other cities use weapons that I'm not familiar with. And of course, the people from other worlds wield their own unique weapons.

(Seeing him so happy fills her with a joy that nothing can dampen. After seeing him settled - which included clothes and showing him where the dragons roam - Daenerys has been giving him his freedom. He doesn't need a little sister shadowing his steps, however there is no doubt he can always come home to her.)

The soldiers and warriors are always in training to stay at the top of their own game. This is why I was inquiring about keeping my own skills sharp, since I've not had any equal opponents.

I would happily spar you if I had a dragon form. (She has tried to imagine herself as a dragon and it's less difficult than it should be.) As it stands, you would win by a phenomenal degree.

[He comes home to her every night! But he likes spending time with living dragons, too.

One of the younger dragons, barely more than a hatchling itself, peeks over his shoulder at her and Rhaegar grins, reaching up to rub a knuckle over an eye-ridge.]

They like my music. [....He doesn't really need a second voice, but-] They would probably like you to visit with me sometime, my sister.

(Her heart skips a beat and she drops her pen in favor of pulling the communicator closer.)

A son? Or a daughter? (She is already on her feet, reluctantly pulling her attention away from the hatchling on screen to prepare herself for the small journey.)

Of course they do. You have a beautiful voice. (Then, a breath later...) I'm coming.

[The hatchling has dark red, almost black scales and studies her intelligently- Rhaegar hardly notices the claws digging into him with what little weight the small being has. His grin gentles at her reaction.]

A son. We will wait for you.

[He doesn't preen at her compliment, but there is a pleased warmth in his eyes. He has another surprise for her, after all~]

(She is already half in love with the child, her maternal instincts kicking in fiercely. When her sons had been that small, they had relied on her for everything. She misses those days.)

He's wonderful.

(It takes her half her usual amount of time to find him. The horse she is riding is tethered a safe distance away under some trees.)

He has bonded with you. See how he clings? My three did that.

Hmm. You said you were a queen, not a soldier, and not all dragons were warriors. Even if you had a dragon form, would you be able to fight?

[He doubts it...]

The idea of sparring with the dragons in my subarchway still stands. Perhaps you should visit sometime. I had already extended the invitation to Rhaegar when he arrived.

I would do everything necessary to protect my sons.

(She will fight, she will lead, she will grow as large as possible. As a dragon, of course, where the latter point is concerned.)

[Rhaegar's far more than half in love with the hatchlings! But then, he's been spending much time with them all. Logic!

He's seated with the red hatchling curled around his upper body rather possessively, and some older ones are nearby. But even one is enough for him, and he takes the time to lavish attention on the precious child and sing to him.

He holds out a hand to his sister when she reaches them, feeling the hatchling duck a little closer against him.]

I will never let him fall. I think he knows it.

(She is cautious as she approaches, kneeling down beside him once she is close enough. The older dragons are given an appreciative glance, but she is drawn by the little hatchling, giving him a tender smile.)

The world is too big for him, but it won't be that way for long.

(Daenerys takes hold of Rhaegar's hand, suppressing a sigh as she does so. He's warm and real and that means everything to her.)

Fair enough. Losing your sons is...not a great feeling.

[He knows, since he's lost both of his...]

...Was that your brother? I didn't know. He's...interesting. His fascination with dragons is intriguing. He also mentioned "sharing blood with dragons," which had me curious...

I have two that rely on me still. I won't fail them.

(And she will ensure her poor Viserion finds rest.)

He is. I never knew him in person. (She has only heard of him in passing and through visions.) We do. It is said that some Targaryens are true dragons.

Really? Something in your lineage? Some have the ability to assume dragon form?

In our blood. (She gives her head a small shake.) Never in form, no, but he and I are immune to fire.

Really...? That is interesting to know. So that is a trait that comes with sharing a dragon's blood?
