[Genessia has seen a lot of strange people. Odd hair colors, youthful appearance, strange clothing, and outlandish abilities abound.
But this is an awful lot of pink to see in one place, even if it's attached to an eleven year old girl.
She appears to be standing near the hologram projector, and there are several free-floating screens around her showing feeds from wide-area search drones. It's better than relying on the map pamphlets, and this place quite obviously has both magic and high technology, so she doubts there's going to be an issue with a few tiny pink orbs floating around.
The video feed from her device seems to be a last resort, since she's clearly been doing her best to gather information on her own.]
Um... Excuse me. I know from checking the network that this sort of introductory post is usually frowned upon, but I just have one quick question. I already know there's no one here from my world, but... has anyone here ever heard of the Time-Space Administration Bureau, or Riot Unit Six?
[The dragon-shaped lump on her shoulder nudges her cheek, and she has an 'oh!' moment.] And, um, my name is Caro. Caro Ru Lushe.

[He physically can't, but it's the thought that counts. The thought he's not having.]
WOWIE, YOU GOT TO ADMINISTER TIME AND SPACE?? DO YOU THINK YOU COULD MAKE IT PRIMETIME ALL THE TIME??
no subject
I meant more in the general sense, not anyone specifically, with regards to frowning. [She offers a tentative smile.] And no. I didn't - er, don't - administer anything. The TSAB is a huge organization. I'm just one of their new recruits.

HUH! I DON'T RECALL ANY GENERALS FROWNING EITHER. IF YOU SAY SO!!
BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION: YES! I'VE HEARD YOU MENTION THE TEEESSAYBEE JUST NOW! OTHERWISE, NO. LUCKILY, THERE ARE OTHER ORGANIZATIONS YOU CAN JOIN. THEY MAY NOT BE HUGE, EXCEPT IN THEIR CAPACITY FOR FUN-HAVING.

OH, AND PLEASE DON'T COMMIT ANY RIOTS!!

[Taps a finger to her chin.] There's a lot of universes and parallel universes represented here. Are you familiar with Torchwood, and does the TSAB also go by just simply Time Agency? Do you have a grandfather of time travel in your universe?
Oooooooor a species, people, or planet that was in control of the laws for the whole universe? [Not that THAT'S common, but it couldn't hurt to ask.]
I'm Rose Tyler, by the way. Hallo! [Waves and waggles fingers.]
no subject
On the other side... as far as I know, Midchilda is pretty much the widest-ranging authority, and it's where the TSAB is based. They're more interested in keeping the peace and preventing dimension-level crime than on ruling anyone, though.
[She smiles and returns the wave.] Hello. Do you mind if I just call you Rose? Caro is fine for me, as well.
no subject
[Nah, she's pretty sure then, it's what other universes came up with to cope for the lack of the TimeLords etc., but that's nice. Given the bad things from the multiple universes she's been in.]
Rose is fine! My codename is Bad Wolf, but if you've never heard of Torchwood, you probably don't have access to those clearance levels. We do...... a lot with time travel and dimensions.
Or did. [Nah, still do ayyy.] How'd you get recruited? Or is that top-secret?
no subject
Mine is Lightning Four. I'm part of a forward element, under Fate Testarossa-Harlaown. [If there's no name recognition there, it's a good probability their universes haven't crossed anywhere along the way.]
She's the one who recruited me. Or... well, I guess you could say adopted. She's my legal guardian, after... After I was banished from my tribe...
no subject
[And yup! No recognition, but the latter part indicates that Fate is a person, Fate being the title, the rest being the name!]
I see! That's pretty amazing! I just... fell into it. [Face scrunch.] Kinda... lit'rally. It's a little embarrassing, actually.
As far as I can tell, we're in a place in the void between all universes, if you're familiar with that, yeah? There's subarchways to other universes, but they're like... snapshots. [Timelord paintings.] Not quite as expansive as the normal thing, and time is a bit... not frozen, but definitely contained yeah?
One o' my lead scientists was following a few leads, but she got sent back, and I haven't puzzled through what all she left behind. The Doctor's bad at taking notes.
You don't have to do anything you don't much want to here! You can come work at Torchwood with me, and the really loud skeleton (... randomly), if it suits your fancy, but you can go to school and the Professor that teaches time and science I work as his assistant for, and he's proper brilliant, and I don't say that lightly, because he really doesn't need the ego, puff yeah?
Point bein', you can come find familiar settings if you want, but don't limit yourself! There's a lot o' fun here! Whatever make you of it!

Sort of like dimensional pockets? It sounds a little different than the storage technology our Devices use. [She holds up a hand, back facing the camera, to display the large pink gem set on it.] Something like this, but on a larger scale?
[No, it's really not anything like that - though the compression technology does have a counterpart around here, in the Capsule Corps' capsules.
At the mention of the void between universes, Caro goes pale.] I'm... familiar with the concept, yes. People fall into it sometimes, where I'm from... they usually aren't seen again afterwards. [But she's not giving up hope! She's still alive, and that means there's always hope, right?]
I'll definitely consider coming by. I don't know enough about this world to make a snap judgment on where I want to stay, but your group definitely sounds the most similar to what I'm familiar with.
no subject
[She shakes her head.] Strangely. No.
Mmm, yeah. Don't fall into the void. [Rose's face is just bland. She almost fell, but didn't. And then decided to travel back through it. As you do.]
Yup! We do a lot of everything, mostly just trying to make people's stay here less intolerable, but a good chunk of it was just so other Torchwood people and anyone with similar lifestyles wouldn't feel so lost, yeah?
Just ask for Rose Tyler, or talk to anyone named the Doctor. He's very silly, and sometimes pretty arrogant and annoying, but I love all of him to bits, and he's really good-hearted and will do whatever he can to help!

[Entirely unrelated to the tiny dragon on her shoulder. Yep.]

Most magic summoning types or even demon magic isn't considered too scary, unless it necrotic. For awhile there were even some laws against using those types of magic, but part of it is because of the possession and control nature. We have skeletons, and vampires, and werewolves here, and they're all allowed their free will, so someone trying to use them as weapons wouldn't be terribly popular, yeah?
For more on that, you're best off talking to members of my guild from Fayren! Fairy Tail! [Proudly reveals the mark on her right hand!] My adopted sister Mirajane is really good at explain magic, and the guildmaster knows everything I swear. The two universes I most belong in don't have magic at all, so it's still a big learning curve for me. But I went in blind using most tech and adapted anyway, so it's not too different for me.
Don't even bother talking to the Doctors about magic though, he completely doesn't call it that or accept it as its form, just [Finger quotes] "unexplained science." Pretty sure he gets 1/1000th of the work done he could just because he's too busy trying to calculate and explain and translate it into terms he accepts bettar.

[She smiles at the recommendation.] I'm not a novice when it comes to either, but I do need help with control - especially with my dragon summoning. My friend Friedrich here has been with me since before he was hatched, but if I were to summon Voltaire here... it could go very badly. He's... not very conscious of things like limits, or collateral damages.
[Hmm! This Doctor fellow sounds like he needs a few clues. Midchildan and ancient Belkan mages, after all, have fully integrated magic and technology - so much so that they've eschewed fossil fuels and the like almost entirely. And their 'Devices' are compact sorcery engines, some of them quite intelligent all on their own. She makes a mental note to track the Doctor down, later.]
I might try to speak with him about it, for those very reasons. It's too much to explain like this, but I have... a few insights from my world, that he may find very interesting.

[Rapunzel didn't understand why it might be though.]
But it's nice to meet you, Caro Ru Lushe. I'm Rapunzel.

Hello, Rapunzel. It's nice to meet you too.

[She thought about it a little more, she wasn't sure she understood really.]
But how are things for you so far? I hope no one has been mean.
