05 | Action for Everglade/Anon Text
[Baldur had finished drinking the... whatever the fuck people called blood these days. As he looked at the bag it was once in he couldn't help but be disgusted by it. He would much rather have it fresh from the neck. At least the taste was sweeter as the fear of the victim was obvious, but it seemed like in his time here he felt as if Everglade was not what it should be.
Vampires being told they should drink from the bag, werewolves he was pretty sure would get arrested if they so much as hunted their usual pray for sustenance. Sure, he normally wouldn't give two shits about creatures like that as to him they were lower class beings, but in a city where monsters should rule the roost it was being made clearly obvious that much like the other cities, Everglade was being catered to protecting humans to the point where he felt like humans ruled the roost, even if the Guardian was not one themselves.
Maybe a humans pet was in his mind. But regardless he throws the bag on the floor, not a care in the world about picking it up as he moved to walk on ahead, an idea slowly brewing up in his mind.
But in order to be exact in achieving this plan he knew he should do research. So first things first asking people certain questions. So he found a quiet spot that he knew people didn't come to and got out his device.]
So I have a question. when it comes to Everglade who do you think it is catered to most? Do you think it's even footing between humans and non-humans or do you think that it's one-sided and that one side seems to take over the other?
I honestly want to know what people believe and see if people think the same thing or if opinions are different.

I've not been here long enough to say one way or the other, but I'd be very interested in knowing what the general consensus is.
[Anonymous text]
But I am curious about what others might say.
[Anonymous text]
I am too. This is something worth talking about.
[Anonymous text]
But that will get boring.

[Anonymous text]
Then I would need to do something more fun. But my definition of fun is perhaps the opposite of others.

Though what is it about fishing that people like?
[Anonymous text]
Fresh fish.
[Anonymous text]
So you must really like fish.
[Anonymous text]
Yes. And I enjoy free food just as much. It's hard to beat a fresh meal that you don't have to waste any coin on.
[Anonymous text]
Free food, huh? I still guess you do something in order to even get it for free even if you don't pay for it.
Could be wrong though.
[Anonymous text]
It's not work at all, it's just an easy lazy afternoon. I suppose you still have to cook it though, if you're interested in eating it with a little char to the skin.
[Anonymous text]
I mean to get fish you would still fish for it. Still doing something to get it. But yes I guess cooking would count as doing something too. Then again would probably do something like that if I needed to. Hunting can be a fun sport and you get a free meal out of it.
[Anonymous text]
I think the fun of it overrides the work. But to each their own. Are you a hunter?

It doesn't. Making all fight it out does however work. That's how it worked in my world. If anyone could defeat the King before all of the king's children reached the age of maturity they were free to make the rules. Never has anyone outside of a demon been able to do such a thing though.
Anon Text
Um, that sounds like a pretty dysfunctional system of government. Have you looked into the alternatives other worlds use instead? It might be better.
Anon Text
There are flaws in every system. No system will ever be perfect.
Anon Text
Yeah, I've heard that before. But only in trying can you get any better.

I meant different ones. DIFFERENT.
Re: Anon Text
And the many, many children. Current King has 13, which is a pretty nice number, though considered unlucky to some, I consider it a challenge being that unlucky number.
