I hate to beg, but I'm looking for some easy work. I'm a tolerable young man with a decent enough disposition, who's just interested in making some cigarette money. Have some pity on me, and shove some busy work my way? I'm at least useful enough to earn my tobacco.

[Tyki rarely rushes anywhere, and it's especially hard to hurry when he gets to check out the sights of Everglade. The dark atmosphere reminds him a little of home, and he finds it overall comfortable. Which all in all, makes this a more pleasant trip.

[Well... Tyki had really not been that high on the list of people he was ever expecting to see. It had been... over a year now as far as he was aware not counting that one trip to the Dream Docks which... was fun. But he sighed as he switched the feed on still on patrol near the Fayren Archway. He took his job as deputy guardian very seriously.]

[Of course he couldn't go to another world that was entirely free of Exorcists. Hadriel had been far too convenient, devoid of Innocence and the complications that came with it. He'd been able to spin the Noah Family as fated rivals of a corrupted church to his friends and allies, some saw them as the heroes of a dark war. Which would have made it easy for his family, had the right members shown themselves...

[He sighs, and shakes his head. No, Hadriel got him used to at least a certain level of creature comforts. And he thinks he's going to get back to his business. He did heavily consider a life of petty crime and wandering, odd jobs and a play at one of his old lives. But he got so used to a certain lifestyle that he's not quite ready to give it up yet.] No, I'll be working just long enough to start my shop back up. I had a little place where I was last, and I got rather fond of it.

[He found himself slightly confused. A little place where he was last... He wondered if that meant that like him he had been in a different world before this one. But for the moment he figured he could at least be helpful. After all, didn't sound like he was going to try anything, so he had no reason, not to.]

If I can recall the minimum it takes to be able to start one's own business is one month of work.

[Tyki nods in response to Allen's comment. He's heard something similar, so this confirms it.] I can handle a month of menial tasks. It can't be any more unpleasant than an afternoon with the nobility.

[Yeah, Tyki's taking note of that, but he just assumes that Allen is watching his back.] I'd rather you continue to keep that information to yourself. We're free for now, it's only us here, and we're not bound by what's going on back home. And if people don't know, I can enjoy myself freely.

I've got cigarettes from my universe and a couple of others. Funny thing, visiting multiverse prisons. It gives a lot of room for expanding one's vices.
